I've Noticed In Plenty Of The Guilds Im In, That A Lot Of Users Have Requested To Be A Mod. Usually, In Those Forms The Captain Requires "Age". Most Responses I've Seen Are: "cant say; do i have to say?; im not telling; is it that important"etc. Im Not Targeting No One, Its Just That Its Something Common I See. Is Someones Age That Embarrassing To Say? I Can Proudly Say, I Have Nailed 19 Years Of Age And Still Hoping For Another 60 or More. Opinions? Once Again, Im Not Targeting Nor Attacking No One.

I guess people just don't think it is that important. It is not your age that really counts, its how you act. I know in my Mod. form I did not put my age because I thought I might not be accepted just because I am 14. I can see why you have an issue with people not putting ages but I can also see why people don't like giving out that kind of information. I guess I will go put that on my form. If I can have my age on my profile I can put it on one post ^.^

Its Not An Issue, Just An Observation. I Wouldnt See Why Your Age Would Mean You Not Getting Promoted And Such. Heck, In One Of Our Guilds Our Vice Captain Is Only 13, But She Can Handle The Heat. ^^

I really don't see what's wrong with them... For example, I'm 15, and my birthday is (quite regrettably) on Valentine's Day... I find it that it just urks me how people just don't understand that age isn't such a big issue... They're just asking... I do agree with small_lips that age doesn't matter much... So why does it seem to be so hard to talk about?

My birthday is 4 days after yours ADagAvenger. ^.^ Gaia is a place for people to hangout with people and not really care about that much on here because you will mostliky never see that person you are fighting with or something. People have the right to tell others there age. Some people dont care how much others know, and some people won't even tell you there real name. That was how I was when I joined 2 years ago. Thats when i just walked around town talking to random people, now i am mostly doing guild things. Like roleplaying and whatnot. I am saying that it is not law or anything to share your age. Everyone is different they have to make there own choices.

Holiday Birthday People ROCK!!! Born On March 17(St. Patricks Day 8D) Like I Said, Im Proud Of Being 19 And Still Using A Pixel Place To Talk To Random People And Play Games >D Age Is Something I Am Not Ashamed Of, But Apparently A Lot Of Gaians Are Either 1. Afraid 2.Embarrassed or 3. Want To Be Someone They Arent

First, OMG!!!!! VALENTINE BABY!!!!!!! how cute!! xD I want to huggle you!!! =)
and now for the serious part of my post.
I would most likely agree with the lunchbox. Personally, I am 22, yes people that is my real age and am not afraid or ashamed to post it, and I think the most likely reason for ages to be kept "a secret" are that some kids want to be something they aren't and then later have that excuse for their childish behavior. But that's just my speculating on the issue at hand.

i find it kinda stupid. I have friends that go up to there mid-30s and im only 14. I dont mind saying my age at all this is the best year of my life. When people make up the number/age i cant belive them. Its not that hard to say "oh. im 18" "12yrs old" or "33" i have found so many people around the world on this thing and some are much better friends to talk to then in real life. Maybe for the people that just dont want to give it out are the ones who put in the wrong age. I have a 9 yr old sister on this but she can play games only. Remember 13 year or +

There are monsters inside of us....
I will accept anyone at any age. I know a 13 year old IRL who is probably smarter than 99% of people on here, he has skipped a grade as well 0_o, I believe that age is just a number, anyone who is not stupid (I have met some pretty stupid 13 year olds on the internet ._.) and not a jerk is an awesome person in my eyes.
...and sometimes they win.
