Hogwarts is full of secret rooms, hallways, and doors. Behind the Herbology greenhouse there is a tiny door, almost invisible to any passerby, that leads to a hidden staircase, which, in turn, leads to a small underground room that the more experienced students use as a hideout.

Eliza walks in around the time she'd been asked to meet two of the older students. While she had some knowledge of the plants she hoped she wouldn't need to demonsrtate on the ones around her so soon.
Still, she had seen Little Shop of Horrors and as such was singing a little bit - abit a little acapella - to keep her spirits up till they arrived.
Please understand that it's still strange and fright'nin'...

--- Luna looked over at Eliza, then continued flipping through her magazine. She was sitting on a velvet purple beanbag, across from an identical green one. It was empty.
"Severus isn't coming", she declared. "He's in the infirmary."
Luna frowned when she heard the song Eliza was singing. "Keep it down! Did I mention how much I hate that song? I really do."

Surprised to see Luna, Eliza stops singing.
Well then you don't mind how badly I was preforming it then...Tries to see what the other was reading. What are you looking through?
Having worked part time in a library, Eliza had access to loads of referance and outsourced materials...hopefully her question was seen as a polite one instead of a prying one.
And she WAS trying to be less shy.

--- Luna rolled her eyes. "Why should you care? You're obsessed with Severus." She continued flipping through the book. She put it down and looked directly at Eliza. "Let me help you clear things up. I am Severus' only friend. He is my only friend. We have a bond stronger than you ever will have with anybody. We are there for each other, each other alone. I am not sharing his friendship with ANYBODY."

Eliza ignores the word obsessed, after all it was Severus who had told her where to go...for the hideout anyway.
Actually I rather like to know what other folks enjoy reading. It's kind of like research to becoming an author - also what they would like to read next...
Knowing that these words had little substance as Luna had already made up her mind about her. Eliza sits opposite in the green beanbag, thinking that if there was a a yellow one... the thought made her giggle.
Still, she manages to keep it in check; if random showtunes set Luna off - it was doubtful color trivia would be of intrest.
She takes out the 2011 Mardi Gras Guide and looks through it - seeing if she recognizes any of the celebrities that were going to appear.

--- Luna shoved Eliza off the beanbag. "This one is SEVERUS'!", she screamed, and gestured to a white one in the corner. "He insisted on making you one because he said you're going to be hanging out with us, but you're NOT. Get it? N-O-T. If you try anything funny with my best friend, oh, I'll go to ANGER MANAGMENT CLASS FOR WHAT I'LL DO TO YOU!!!"
Luna threw her magazine at Eliza's feet and stormed out of the room.

Eliza picks herself and the magazine off the floor.
Well...she didn't throw me out, did she?
She fluffs the two colored ones in a goodwill gesture and decides to go have a snack and could come back after checking in on Snape.
Maybe stop by the Great Hall for some food and treats...now, what he did like?
What did Luna for that matter?
Eliza pockets her Mardi Gras magazine and looks through Luna's as she exists the room....
(when we pick it up next Eliza will have returned with the gift basket, like he had told her to do?)

(guess I'll post - all going okay for you?)
Eliza returns from the infirmary with the basket she had brought for for Severus. Good thing she had packed it so well since there was more than enough of the items to go around...
But what would Luna like?
Yes, despite the cold shoulder, she knew she had to at least attempt to be a good friend - even if she didn't fully understand why the other had such an anger towards her??
She takes some of the following from the basket:pumpkin and cream cheese muffins (Starbucks bought so as not to endanger anyone) every flavor beans, home-made smores, a thermos of hot water with packets of Baron's Blend (from the Cat Returns wink - a pleasing taste for everyone, has various flavors), dark "English" tea and apple cider and from her hometown - another thermos of just-spicy-enough-to improve-the-flavor gumbo.
To be safe she listed the ingrediants on the side (including the rice) so that no one with alergies would be caught off gaurd.
Eliza had set out these on a type of buffet-style spread, using the blanket to connect the beanbags in a womp-angled triangle.
Though a tight fit in the room, she knew she'd have to let there be enough way around the spread for those would come later not to trip over it.
Finally setting down both mugs and eating utensels - Eliza pours herself some of the gumbo and sips it with a bit of quiet pride.

Trying not to be surprised herself with Luna's sudden appearance, Eliza turns to the side letting Luna be the first to partake of the treats.
It's kind of like a bank...she gives the other a warm smile. A wealth of flavors and - stuff!
She wanted to say more but if Luna was anything like Snape, less was probably more; especially when it involved hearing Eliza speak.

Eliza swallows the sip she was on.
Gumbo was unusual sure...but weird?
Well, yes it was!
Not many folks could exactly pin down a recipe as it was up to the individual to decide how much to add of one ingredient or to add it at all for that matter.
Do you like spicy food? It may have appeared that she wasn't answering Luna's question but really she was trying to determine whether the other girl would give it a chance.
Now that Luna was talking to Eliza - however cautiously - she didn't want to blow it!

Gilderoy Lockhart walked into the herbology room and sa on the windowsill. It looked as if the teacher wasnt their yet. Two girls sat talking and he decided to leave them alone. He recognised the young girl that was always hanging out with Snape.
