Crotalus cerastes is known is commonly refereed to as sidewinder, horned rattlesnake, or sidewinder rattlesnake. They are one of the smaller species of rattlesnake.

Most of her behavior is in direct response to how she has been treated for having a deformity. Rattle tries not to go out of her way to stand out or draw attention to herself. However if she feels intimidated or agitated her tail starts to instinctively shake. It is somewhat annoyed that she is completely unable to hide these emotions.

room mate: Firefly
Rattle is incredibly anxious to learn who her room mate is. She desperately hopes it is someone that is nice and won't make fun of her... A firefly? So someone from House Jercanindilla. That doesn't seem so bad.
She plans on putting extra effort into trying to get along with this person. It will be a nightmare to have to come home every night to someone that hates her.
