The Ice Cream Sprite!
Element/Stone Name:Pink Halite - Rock Salt
Physical Appearance: Halite forms isometric crystals. The mineral is typically colorless or white, but may also be light blue, dark blue, purple, pink, red, orange, yellow or gray depending on the amount and type of impurities. For this quest I'm looking specifically at the mineral that is pink.
Where is the stone found and how is it mined? Halite occurs in vast beds of sedimentary evaporite minerals that result from the drying up of enclosed lakes, playas, and seas. Salt beds may be hundreds of meters thick and underlie broad areas.
How does it rank on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness? 2.5
What are it's metaphysical properties? Pink Halite blends the energies of the heart and the solar plexus - the chakras of heart and will. So it helps generate self love and clarification.
Sprite Memory: An afternoon in the park, licking melting Ice Cream from a cone.
Sprite Appearance: I want to keep with the ice cream theme but I'm not very picky. So a sprite in a little apron and hat like you might see someone working in an ice cream shop wear would be neat, and maybe with a little ice cream cone all her own. I know sprites and fiends don't always have clear genders but I get a very female feel from this one.
Sprite Personality: Pink Halite is very much a 'doer' she is talkative and sometimes overly friendly. She lives for the moment and loves new experiences and ideas but tends to get bored when it comes to details. Although she tries to be friendly to others at times she can be a touch self centered.
Unique Power: I'd like Pink Halite to have a special ability, her ability would be to take any food item and turn it into it's equivalent in Ice Cream.
