That's a small turbo for the application, plans to upgrade?

 The engine is the same as an EVO? Didn't know that.

I'm only running the 16g for the break-in I'm switching to the FP3065 right after it's broken in
solely because I'm cheap and already have a mint 16g

 I dunno if that warrants 1,000 HP... The block is capable of withstanding that much, but will the build yield that kind of performance?

Yup, judging by his mod list, he won't be near 1000, but like sixspeed said, that is just what he is saying his block is built to withstand.
To hit 1000whp, especially in an AWD car with tons of drivetrain loss, would require a pretty elaborate fuel setup, with multiple pumps, a monster turbo, and usually a little bit of methenol, race gas, and a forgiving dyno. emo

I should have said it before, sorry X.x
I'm not going for 1000hp The engine is capable of it, but it's an over-build
I'm aiming for a safe 550-600hp to be precise, by pistons can handle +300hp per cyl and the rods are rated at +1100hp
I have no intention of going past 600, I just want to be sure I wont need to rip the thing apart again
Edit: Also, I'm sure as hell not about to cement a block, I will NEVER cement the block of any car I own, and thats what I'd have to do to get that kind of power, on top of a retarded stroker kit

 [/img] The fuel pump says no. There are a few things needed to reliably make that kind of power, and they aren't in the build sheet. So either he's holding them back, or whoever is doing the work hasn't put them in the bill. Yet.

Oh yer, a thing about balancing. It isn't necessary to go that far with balancing the crank. if that's the design target, then you'd need to overbalance, which needs you to pay for some crazy material and the associated machining costs
The tooling and material won't be cheap. You can blow a mortgage on that layout, easily.
And that's just the start. There's a few holes here, and they're not with the bits. Its in the processes where there are holes, and even the best parts on the planet are going to either explode or implode without the correct processes being applied.

@Joey Crash
It wasn't really my decision as to how far they'd go with the balancing
you know how you walk into a machine shop and they go "Yeah, we're going to do this, this, this, this, this, this and this! when it's done, you'll run the streets" That's exactly what happened, I didn't even really care about the balancing, they gave me an amazing price for the entire package, so I just let them have their good time with it Over-all, they only charged me $650 cash for labor on the entire machine shop portion build
Would you have said no if someone was going to only charge you $650 that much labor? Keep in mind, they also assembled both block and head
@Heart of Sugar
I dun really take offense to it, I like Talons more

I see what you are saying, but I'll be damned if a machine shop says "we are doing this, this this". I pay them to machine, not to decide my build, however constructive criticism is always nice!

It's a fairly high profile machine shop, and the work they do is some of the best stuff I've ever seen
They had a line of engines they put together, a couple of which were beautiful Viper engines I couldn't help but be seduced by their pretty and oh so enticing words when they have a shiny Viper block sitting on a stand surrounded by big-blocks and such

Brakes done today And I'm hardcore pissed
I smashed my finger on the control arm taking off the caliper And they ******** sent me 2G rotors I called and complained they said "Oh we're out of stock on the rear rotors for a 1G" so I had to put the old ones back on
Nice shiny gold calipers, old rusty looking rotors
Out of stock on Powerslots and EBCs, and no one seems to have either, so I'm ******** there until I can find them, all my connections have failed me
On the bright side, I found out the reason for my s**t gas mileage and the shake after like 100 yards of driving, thought It might of been my rear-end, turns out the parking brake siezed on the passenger side
Next up though will be one that makes up for all downsides The race engine will be going in October 20th
I'm deciding on what color to paint the valve cover, any suggestions? perhaps a GD themed paint scheme? xD The GD that isn't all talk btw, not that other thing
