Ah, yes, back when my friend showed me Splatter House, I asked about it. I called it Slaughter House. Seemed more appropriate.

I played that before too. I did manage to get to Suwako but she was really hard. It was fun but I didn't see much sense in the story of it. Although the elements from the horror movies, Aliens, Preditor, the Thing, etc, was a good touch. I wish someone could do some splatter faith fan-art.
