Good to hear! We miss having you on the board. Hope they locked up the thieving b*****d that stole your gun, and good health to your son.

I got to hold the SU-16CA at the last Crossroads. I want one, but I'm not sure if they can take standard AR mags. Can they? I know the other model SU16s can, but the CA is meant for Kalifornia, so I'm not sure if they removed this feature.
Also, when did your gun get stolen? I completely missed this, probably when I was gone for a month during the summer I presume?

Sgt Buckner I got to hold the SU-16CA at the last Crossroads. I want one, but I'm not sure if they can take standard AR mags. Can they? I know the other model SU16s can, but the CA is meant for Kalifornia, so I'm not sure if they removed this feature. According to the limited statement on their website, the SU-16CA will take standard AR / M-16 magazines. There is a thumbnail image showing one in the rifle on the right hand side of the web page listed below. http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/rifles/su-16ca/We have a used one on consignment at the local Cabela's. I'll check it the next time I stop in, just for shits and giggles.

You know, of all the SU-16's, I think I'd prefer the CA. No shitty folding stock, and I much prefer the shorter sight parallax that gives a cleaner look to the barrel.

It is the CA because it combines the better features of the C and A models

090Freak090 It is the CA because it combines the better features of the C and A models Correct. And it does give it a cleaner look to the barrel. I like this model very much. Also, after watching a few range videos... I'll get one. NutnFancy did a review on the SU-22, which its just the .22 version of the CA... 4 pound, "tactical" .22 awesomeness. Its a different, and affordable alternative to an AR platform.
