Hoi may not be resold for Gaia Gold or RL currencies. However, you may give them away to friends or ask the shop to rehome your pet for you.
Basic Roleplay Rules:
No God-modding or powerplaying.
Correct grammar and spelling are appreciated.
Parenthesis/Brackets or OOC:’s for any out of character posts.
You may only roleplay Hoi that you own.
You are more than welcome (and encouraged) to create a human OC to roleplay with, even if you don't have any Hoi. Please keep in mind the setting (Ancient Greece) and that characters would not have things like cell phones or computers.
Hoi can be domestic or wild.
Hoi cannot speak to humans (aside from their designated) but they can converse between other hoi and familiars.

Q. How do I get a Hoi?
A. Flatsales, raffles, auctions, events and sometimes customs and bribes.
Q. Can I get one for free?
A. Sometimes free Hoi will be given out in the thread or through free raffles. Stay active and keep an eye out to participate! Do not ask for a free Hoi.
Q. How much for a Hoi?
A. See the availability post.
Q. Can I co-own?
A. No.
Q. Do I have to host the image?
A. While your Hoi is growing, please direct-link your image. After it has grown, however, feel free to upload your images wherever you wish.
Q. Do you accept items?
A. Depends on the event, the colorist and the item. Make sure to read specific event rules to make sure bidding items are allowed. Flatsales and raffles do not accept items.
Q. Do you accept pet trades/bribes?
A. Check this forum in the guild.
Q. Can I get a refund?
A. No refunds, unless within the Gaia rules.
Q. When will my Hoi grow?
A. Hoi foals will break out of their clouds after 1-2 weeks. Foals grow into adult Hoi after 2-3 weeks.
Q. How many can I have?
A. As many as you want.
Q. Are you hiring any kind of staff?
A. There will be an announcement made if the shop is hiring. However, if you feel you would be an asset to the shop, you may PM the mule with relevant samples of your work even if we are not openly hiring.
Q. Are Hoi RP-required?
A. Nope! But there definitely perks to RPing, like earning special items for your Hoi, getting your own 'Herd' subforum and participating in special metaplot events!
Q. Where can I RP?
A. Please keep in-depth roleplay to the guild. Posting a sentence or two from your character in thread is okay.
Q. Can my Hoi be wild?
A. Yes, not all Hoi do well as domestic pets. Wild Hoi live in herds and follow a general hierarchy as outlined here.
Q. Can Hoi Breed?
A. Yes, after a Hoi is a month old, it is able to breed.
