Yeah, pretty well known, and put there on purpose by Bioware...lol

Ok, in case you don't know...
For inf money, take both your most expensive items, send them to the trash section of inventory (don,t discard them from there tho, go to a merchant.
Make sure the only items in the trash section are the 2 mentionned above.
Press sell all"sell almost at the same time (you will get the timing right in a few tries)
For instance, on 360 it would be Y and A Like I mentionned, at first aim for exactly the same time, and you will eventually mess up by the lil fraction of a second needed, (Y before a) and get it right
(It is triangle and X on the ps3, and well, computer, it is what you set it to. lol)

it will sell both your items but pay twice for one of them, due to pressing sell all and sell...

To duplicate items it is pretty much the same (Books/tomes anyone? **grins**)
This only works for items that stacks (That you can have more than one, like poultices for instance)
First of all you need to have 2 of the item (at least)
Put the item you wanna duplicate in the trash
(only this item must be there)
Sell only one
Then do the same sell all/sell (Y/A or triangle/X)
if you had 2 originally, the seller should now have 3...
buy 2, repeats, always make sure there is at least one in the seller's invo.
(Do not go over 99 tho, it tends to screw things up)

Think ahead cause you will need to pay for those extra duplicated items...(money trick...duh. lol)

Well here is a basic trick, feel free to ask if somethingis not clear, or give tricks for the timing of the sell all/sell buttons

Could I post another trick? You can max level your character in Lothering, and get lot's of money. All you need to have is the make trap ability, and do the quest I think its called traps are a girls best friend.

Yes, sure.
But inf level isn't a big advantage in the game since monsters scale up...better be low levels with duplicated books than high level with normal stats Plus, if you reach too high a level and can't level up anymore cause of skills, this makes awakening a bit of a mess since it beef you up so much...
Can you go more indetails about this tho please?
thanks

Sure, um well you get experience and money for every trap you give her. The quest asks that you make spring traps for her. You can buy the parts in bulk in the tavern, i think they are called trap triggers. You also level up like you would normally.

**nods**
Only prob is that you end up with no better equipment but harder ennemies...
The same can be done in the beginning actually...
As soon as the origin is done, you get the needed blood, but not the documents, and report, you get xp for it,but it doesn't consider the mission, as done, you just report as many times you want
Only prob like I said...high level ennemies, and you with low level equipment...
not really forgiving in nightmare difficulty. lol

A very useful glitch in my opinion (how often does THAT happen, lol) I'm glad Bioware never saw a need to fix it. heart

Actually I've noticed Bioware seems to enjoy leaving those in games...as does most publiushers for these kinds of games...
Betha software, in Fallout 3, inf money is easy...plus having equipment that is abusive and stacks(Tho that last one is a real glitch that is a pain, but the inf money, they let it there on purpose)
Fable...every fable got glitches that can be abused easily...(item duping, inf money, etc)
Mass effect had the "inf money" (Save the doc in clinic, and with just a bit of either pesruasion or intimidate (or both) skills, ya can sell her stuff higher than she sell hem to you

in mass effect 2 you could have inf skill points till last patch came out...it was against the eternal confirm delete thing...tho bioware fixed it with last patch, saying it would make Sheppard impossible to import or something...almost a year later, congrats...lol

I never knew there was a glitch in Dragon Age. I'll try out the trick when I play it again. twisted

Like Terra said there is many.
A character I use has over 200 in every scores.
I duplicate the books. You just have to duplicate the good ones.
Same goes for infinite money, since you do need a lots of money to buy back the said duplicated books.
Terra explained it rather well, it is all about getting the good timing, and making sure not to use books that gives you more abilities since it will limit your leveling up greatly with no more abilities to get.
A book exist only for the scores like strenght, dex, and others. 2 of them and you just duplicate a lot. Very useful when you want to go trough a game seeing all the little differences.

Well the problem you mentioned about not having good enough equipment, thats not an actual problem as the higher level your character the better equipment the stores sell too you.

Also there is an Exp & Gold glitch in Dragonage 2 since you now get gold for every quest your complete.

First make sure it's not a quest that requires any sort of cut scene or conversation. so the quests where you randomly pick up a item located some where and it logs it has a quest. Once you go to the person to give them said item before you get to close to them remove your weapon by pressing the attack button then walk up to them, in mid animation of placing the weapon away hammer the hell out of the interaction button until you hit the intended level. Which the new level cap is 50.
