Simple huh? Fav party character and fav npc, and why?
Considering the cast of characters might be hard...lol
Fav party member for me is Leliana, close second being Alistair, with a special mention to Shale and Anders
Leliana is just...adorable I guess...as you get her to open...from anoying religious zealot to very kind hearted assassin she is a character I grew to like a lot
Alistair...Well, he is Alistair for F sake...what else need be said? lol
Adorable geek of the year!
Shale...a female golem who hate pigeons with a passion...I dig that
Anders (awakening)
He is the result I,d expect of Alistair spending too much time with Zevran
For the NPC....I know it is a silly choice, but...ENCHANTMENT?

(Also, Morrigan, Wynne, and...argh...lol enough already, but it is one of the rare games I really feel for the characters)

mine is the same as yours terra. another vote for leliana. morrigan is definitely my second. she's beautiful, dark, intelligent, but can be a great friend and an even better lover wink . oghren is f***ing hilarious. the way he's always drunk reminds me of this hobo i saw once. long story, won't go into it. alistair a fourth favorite for me. he's funny and the loveable loser, like terra said. favorite NPC is cailan. the way he puts his entire physical and spiritual being into what he believes. i think he can be a bit overconfident, though.

Best hobo I ever seen was in Grand Central Park when I went to America for 2 weeks. His sign read 'Need money to buy beer.' I put money in his cup for being honest. My favourite character is probably the warhound. I named mine Frank.. and I like him the best because he finds me items and I can really relate to animals, game or rl, better than I can most people. Secondly though has to be Morrigan for her dark sense of humor.. Favourite NPC ? Duncan. Purely because he is the most outspoken throughout the game. Everyone you talk to that knows about him speaks highly of him, and right in the beginning the way he killed the two darkspawn was just amazing. -Flips over one darkspawn, using his swords to slash the second then using it to stab the first one laying on the floor and kicks the second one off the cliff.-

Shale...a female golem who hate pigeons with a passion...I dig that Lol when I found that out I was like no freaking way Favorite character is definatly Morrigan, dark witch who is all cute and insecure at times Second is my bloodhound, I named him Fenrir after the norse legend ^0^, he was always so fun to play with and my party members always had funny moments with them Favorite npc was the lust demon for *cough cough* reasons that I shall keep to myself Second npc is The Lady of the Forest, such a awesomely designed character and a really good story attached to her

Varric Tethras. I don't care if DA2 isn't out yet; Varric is, and will always be my absolute top favorite. D:<
After him, in no particular order, I like Dog, Sigrun, Anders, Sten, the qunari Mages, and... everyone, ever (companions and NPCs alike). I even like the cultists. Oh, those wacky cultists!

My fave two are
Morrigan cuz she is just amazing in every way and even though she was bitchy at first she after becomes a good friend
Dog becAuse dogs are awsome wink named him Fenrir too lol.
Then its Anders and his stupid cat.
oghren isnt too far behind
