Once. Human male, warrior with sword and shield.
*spoilers*
I got with Morrigan, killed Loghain, made Bhelen king, helped the werewolves turn back into humans, sided with the Templars, kept the Sacred Ashes a secret, and denied Morrigan's offer.
In Awakening, I saved Amaranthine and Vigil's Keep sadly fell, haha.
*end spoilers*
The only reason I can't get myself to play it again is because I can't stand going back to being a weak character after I've already leveled mine up. He was just too good. The Witch Hunt, while it was not supposed to be challenging, was piss easy. Might pick up Golems of Amgarrak along the way too before DA2 comes out.

i have some time on my hands except during practice, so i'vee finished it (with dlc) oh say 20-30 times now. with warrior/ noble mostly, but sometimes i use noble rogue.
as warrior on 1st playthrough, i made bhelen (spelled name wrong, i know) king, sided with elves, templars, and defied cult of andraste.
as a rogue, i went with werewolves, mages, harrowmont, and defied cult. (to impress leliana. totally worth losing a trophy wink )

Four times
Human noble, Warrior
Got with morrigan and loved it. Got alistar to be king. Made a evil baby with morrigan. Saved the mages and made the nice dwarf king.
Dwarf noble, Warrior ((did this just to see what would happen))
Got with leliana and kinda was eh about it ((she was kinda holier than thou attitude)). Sided with the templars. Got anora to be queen and saved loghain. ((alistar had to leave and become a drunk sadly)) Refused morrigan idea and died bravely.
Elven, Mage
((Did everything I did in the human noble playthrough except I didnt get with morrigan))
Elven Dalish, Rouge
((did everything i did in dwarf playthrough except I did side witht he mages in this one))

I've started pretty much every origin except for Dwarf, but I will get to it at some point. Though I must admit I've only fully completed human noble so far (because the thought of being queen was so very appealing), but nearly done with city elf.
And I mostly stayed rogue, but did try mage once for that origin.

I've played through the game twice.
My very first time I was a Dalish Warrior Elf. I always did the right thing, I never harmed innocent people. I romanced Alistair heart .....which made me have to comply with Morrigan's request cry
My second time I was a Mage Elf. I was a little more reckless (I did want to get as many achievements as possible haha). I seduced Zevran in this one (I felt so bad for Alistair though.... I totally played him in this one crying )
The next time I play it I want to try out the Human Noble 3nodding

I suggest lelianna if you like her... Also, abusing the books dups and inf money (see tip and trick section) will give you an abusive character (A rogue with 500 of dex and 500 of strenght, 250 cunning, 200 of willpower and 50 of constitution=total abuse) I'll post the location of every books but trust me, that makes going trough the game pretty easy...(Was my 3rd playtrough)

tho that character was human noble female, I ended up keeping her...lol...just...I dunno...
And I sided with the mages and the elves but got the werewolfs back human...
Once you play awakeningmost of the stuff from origin becomes...worthless...
Or I reccomand getting shale if you didn't get the game new and had her for free...one of the best character, both combat wise and in her speech<
I finished Queen, having Alistair get to sleep with morigan, and I spread my soldiers everywhere in awakening which worked suroisingly well if you keep the blacksmith with good ore...nothing ever came to bother me...

Im a rabid fangirl over Shale, so used him Alot! Didnt much use Lilianna. My main party was Alistair, Shale, and Wynn.

Shale is a she...If you bring her to the dwarven quest you will learn it...and get her sidequest...

I've been through the games nearly 5 times. Liked the Dalish Rogue origin best.
Never liked played the Mage origin.Once played with a Mage, then got bored then left it mid-way.

Well let see Ive played this about 8 times!! no lie, I have alot of time on my hands on the weekends.
In order from first to last: Dalish Elf/Warrior, City Elf/Warrior, Elf/Mage(My favorite specialization is the Arcane Warrior), Dwarf Commoner/Warrior, Dwarf Noble/Warrior (Male). Dwarf Noble (female), Human Noble (warrior), Human Noble (rouge).
Neither stories have I gotten with Morrigan or persuaded loghain or Alistair to go in my stead. I also always put Bhelen on the throne and help the spirit defeat Zathrian. Only once have I killed Loghain and that time I got Anora as Queen and Alistair normal again. But I always killed Flemeth so I can give Morrigan her grimoire and defeated the High Dragon except on my first try through the game. I also get everyone you can possibly get except for Shale sadly! crying
My favorite Class is the Elven Mage, Arcane Warrior with the Juggernaut Armor, Spellweaver Sword (only for arcane warriors), and the redcliffe elite shield.
And yes I have a life. . . just ALOT of time on my hands! XD

Playing as a Mage, I miss all the fun by standing at a distance and shooting wisps of magic. I'm not a big fan of ranged weapons. I really like all the blood, gore, the blood splatter and 'the slink-squinch' sounds that swords make. twisted .
