Hey Guys. I was just wondering... should I have a merc? I hear that they kill alot of monsters but you most of the exp...and the merc gets some...I realy dont know...should I have a merc? and what kind? I have a lvl 14 asn. she has a act one merc who kills everything... sweatdrop so...I let the monsters overwhile her and she died Mauahahahah!!! then later I was leveling and got pwnd with out her...so...i am kinda stuck... sweatdrop help me out??

depends on what kind of asn. if MA, then I would go with an A2 Nitemare offensive merc. that will have might as an aura.

If its a trapper, go with an A2 Nitemare Defensive merc. That would have Holy Freeze as an aura.

always get a merch. they are eternally helpful and can end up keeping you alive in the long run.

i find that Act2 offensive merchs are the best no matter what character you have as they just get stuck into a fight. but always remember to upgrade your merch in NM cuz then they have higher resis.

at the moment though i'v found that an act1 NM merch (ice arrow) works very well with the assasin and bowazon...the assasins shadow and the amazons valkyire are mainly melee chars, so while their up close and personal the assasin or bowazon and their merch can be casting traps/freeze arrows in the fight.

its all down to personal preference, but i'd say get a merch wink

That's not necessarily true about the assassin, depending on which shadow you use, you get different results. The shadow warrior is mostly a melee char, but the shadow master is more of a mix of e'erything. That, and shadow masters never use the attacks you want them too, expecially in Hell mode.

Normal Act2 defencive merc with Doom runeword? O.o i hear thats good tho i ain't tried it myself O.o;;

or an act2 offsensive nm merc. Thats probably the best combo for a merc. That will give might and holy freeze biggrin
