Yeah, post everything that your medicine cat would normally do thats not about the monthly medicine cat gatherings, like taking new apprentices to the pool for their first time, ect.

Crystalhaze began to run up the hill towards the moonpool, making sure Amberkit was keeping up.

Amberkit was light on her feet as she began to make the ascent to the moonpool. She was jittering with excitment.

Crystalhaze stopped at the glittering pool's edge. "Alright, Amberkit, Come sit beside me and lap up some of the water. Starclan will then send you to sleep so you can meet with them."
(Speaking of Starclan, there has to be a Starclan ancestor to welcome Amberkit, and since Lightningrush (character I made up) was Crystalhaze's mentor, he'll be the one to perform the ceremony. biggrin )

Amberkit nodded and went to the pools edge and lapped up the water. It was cool as it ran down her neck. She then curled up and went to sleep, she soon woke up to see clouds and glittering stars all around her. "Wow." She drawed out in a whisper.

(Wow. I'm really sorry I haven't been on...School is eating my soul. D smile
Crystalhaze did the same, and cured up beside Amberkit. She woke up to find herself, and Amberkit, in a small clearing surrounded by bushes and shrubs. She looked around, and gasped as she saw a starry cat striding towards them, one that looked achingly familiar to Crystalhaze. "Lightningrush!" She gasped.
The dark brown tabby tom purred, and licked Crystalhaze between the ears. "Surprised to see me? I have been chosen to welcome little Amberkit formerly into the world of the medicine cats." He beckoned to Amberkit with his tail.

Amberkit looked surprised up at Lightningrush, as she stepped towards him. Once she was in front of him she sat down.

(I actually don't know how the official med. cat apprentice ceremony works...so I'mma just gonna roll with it. biggrin )
Lightningrush touched his nose to Amberkit's forehead. "The world of the medicine cats is one of glory and honor. Of sadness and loss. You realize that once you complete this ceremony, you may never allow yourself to mate with a tom? You can never have a family of your own, but the entire clan will become your family. You will be their healer, their spiritual leader. You will guide your leader on the paths of her dreams. However, you still have time to change your mind. Do you wish to stay? Or back down?

"I wish to become a medicine cat forever. I will hold the truths of a medicine cat, and interpret the signs from our ancestors. I will never mate with another tom and hold to the will of Starclan." Amberkit said happily, and truthfully.

"Then I call you by your new name, Amberpaw," Lightningrush purred. "You are now Shadowclan's future medicine cat. Live each day with pride and dignity. Learn well from your mentor, Crystalhaze. I shall soon meet with you in dreams, and we shall all walk together in the light of Starclan." He touched his nose to Amberpaw's nose, then stood back and bowed his head.

Amberpaw then turned and walked over to Crystalhaze and touched noses with her.

Crystalhaze smiled at her new apprentice as the stretch of land began to slowly disappear.
(And now they wake up. biggrin )
Crystalhaze woke up to the pale light of the moon, with Amberpaw still sleeping beside her.

Amberpaw looked back at Lightningrush and gave a nod to him as her vision began to fog.
(Waking up)
Amberpaw woke up and looked at her mentor. She could feel herself glowing from meeting her ancestors.

"Come, now we have to get back to camp. Now comes the hard part of being a medicine cat; training." Crystalhaze purred, and laughed a little. She got up, shook out her fur, and began to pad down the hillside, back to the camp.

Amberpaw purred at the thought of training. Amberpaw, she thought in her head. It's a great time to be an apprentice she thought, as she followed her mentor.
