Well what’s so bad about a little coin toss now and then?
The Tempest King Ahhh why don't you Live a little! FEFGA's manor was filled with people. The location had obviously been the best choice for the resistance's headquarters, FEFGA's return had brought the invisible protective barrier back, they could be safe here for a spell. Ex-guild members milled about, planning their next moves. When the last of those who had been involved in the caravan ambush returned a cheer went up, the fugitives had arrived a few hours before the first members of the ambush party started trickling back. There had been a horrible confusion when the "Bandits" had looked in the wagon and found the people they were trying to rescue were gone, they hadn't had time to search though and so split up, shed their outfits (With strict instructions to dispose of them carefully) and had returned to FEFGA's to figure out what had gone wrong. A pleasent surprise awaited them upon discovering that a man in black had already escorted them back safely. There wasn't time for celebration yet though. There was work to be done. Eventually the din was quieted and everyone was herded into a familiar room where a red-headed man in a hat stood atop a raised platform. Joshua peered out at his fellow resistance members from under the brim of his hat, he'd volunteered to debrief everyone and help with the next stage of planning. The resistance had yet to offically appoint a leader, it seemed like FEFGA was still out on the matter. Tibarn was obviously a great candidate, he'd gotten their s**t organised and set the wheels in motion. Wil was another choice it seemed, he'd come up with the plan to rescue the prisoners and had executed it very well. Personally Joshua liked the way it was being led now, there was no TRUE leader. People stepped up when there was something that needed done, they worked together to meet the groups needs. In otherwords, Everyone was the leader, perhaps this was what FEFGA had ment by "The one who leads will be one who does not seek to." If noone was seeking to be the supreme leader of this resistance... perhaps they'd be more successful? Joshua pushed the pleasing vision of everyone working together to overthrow an evil advisor away for the moment. "First off I'll start by saying we got lucky." he said addressing those gathered. "Noone was injured in the ambush, a few guards probably woke up with a hell of a headache, but none were killed. As you also know the prisoners were freed and after a momentary confusion were led here by Gale" Joshua lifted one of his hands then in a gesture of thanks. "Now that we've gone over what happened we need to look forward to what will happen. Namely our next course of action, Rogvald is still in power, and from what I hear is abusing it. In order to boycott the uniform law I propose that the members of the resistance wear no clothes at all. I know it doesn't need to be said but Rogvald must be stopped. Now does anyone have a suggestion as to what our next step should be?" (Floor's open boy's N' girls sky's the limit so let your plan be heard. If you wern't with the resistance before feel free to join now) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ C'mon! All in! Lucks gotta change someday!

Kiote Deliven & "Grave" Yuoin -------------------------------------------- Talk about a surprising introduction into... well chaos. Grave and Kiote hadn't even had time to find their surroundings before everything had gone south for them, what with their arrival in a place that was clearly not where they should have been. They had probably arrived in Learania at the worst possible time, or something relatively along those lines in terms of country. Kiote had been fine, well relatively anyways, but Grave had not been. Grave was a laguz after all, and it wasn't hard to tell with his ears and tail. It went without much saying, Kiote and Grave had been running for a looooong time trying to find someplace where Grave wouldn't be chased down. Finally they had, though more by luck than anything else. Which explained why Grave was in such a bad mood, having not said a word to Kiote since they had started being chased. Kiote didn't care though, after all Kiote knew Grave wasn't mad at him so much as the guards that had been chasing them down. Oh well.
Kiote and Grave both had no clue what they had gotten themselves into, but it didn't take long for them to figure out that what they had stumbled on was some sort of resistance. Grave, out for personal vengence, had instantly been drawn to the idea. Kiote, naturally, had followed. So now they found themselves standing off to the side watching an ambush party return from... well an ambush. Kiote didn't understand the whole idea, but he had managed to figure out that they had been trying to rescue what were probably guild members. Kiote was working figuring things out, but having basically walked in without any prior knowledge, it was understandable. Grave on the other hand, was doing a much better job of listening in on things and piecing things together. Grave at least understood that the resistance members hadn't accomplished much, as someone else had taken it upon themselves to get the people back. Well, that wasn't so true. They'd accomplished being a distraction.
Kiote glanced up suddenly as he noticed everyone moving in a general direction and after tapping Grave on the shoulder, the two followed. So Kiote had no clue who the red headed hat bearing man was, but it didn't so much matter. Kiote at least had the impression that he was about to say something. Kiote wasn't surprised with the words spoken, neither was Grave. Luck was obviously something these people needed. That was the way it sounded anyways. "I already like this idea." Grave mumbled, Kiote barely catching it as he glanced up at the laguz. Maybe Grave was more ill-tempered than Kiote had originally thought.
So, they were looking for ideas on what to do? As much as Kiote would liked to have provided some input on a plan to do next, he didn't know enough to actually say anything. He also didn't want to say something stupid. Grave was more than willing to offer an idea, but at the same time Grave knew only a little more than Kiote so he couldn't say anything either. At least they were somewhere they could be helpful though. That and Grave was just looking for some revenge for being chased across town.

O Father Sky, Mother Earth... I pray that you give me strength. ↣ ↣ ↣ Sue ↣ ↣ ↣ After the rumors had spread of the new laws that were to be ruling over the city of Eyris, Sue had decided that she'd at last had enough of all this! It was wrong, just wrong what was happening. Her father's imprisonment, banishment of some, detainment of others... it was all just so very wrong. What was even more wrong was that no one was doing a single thing about it. There were no raised voices. There were no pumping fists, as Sue rode through the streets quietly on Andre's back, feeling none of the soothing winds she was used to. The people were all silent and fearful. They didn't want to be on the receiving end of this backwards kind of justice.
So, onward she went to FEFGA's mansion. After being kicked out of the castle by that old goat, she had nowhere else left to go. Hopefully, Amelia would be understanding, and help out a fellow host in her time of need. Otherwise, it would be back to the outside, which wasn't safe now thanks to the (unlikely) team of Mordache and Sentria whom were probably still advancing towards Eyris as they remained distracted by this whole new King business. Hadn't the monarch and his adviser understood that they weren't even close to ending the war? What steps had they taken to overtake their adversaries and turn this war around in Learania's favor? "They've done nothing but ruin Learania's chances of winning by putting their only soldiers in jeopardy!"
The Nomad Trooper had been fed up with all this inaction. No one was willing to resist the ridiculous laws, and those in power were so far showing no signs of action towards Mordache or Sentria. Maybe within this Manor, like many times before, the tides would change. A voice would speak. A plan would be made, and at last things would be set right. That is how things worked, to Sue's knowledge. Upon approaching FEFGA's, she dismounted, and was surprised to walk right inside (after whomever was in charge of guarding the door recognized her of course.)
She noticed a rather familiar redhead, and a few other familiar faces! Ones which she heard were imprisoned before, they were now broken free! At last, someone had begun to fight for the sake of justice, when it had been thought to be lost. The man who spoke was the Swordsman of the Sand Dunes. He called for a plan of action, from anyone. "I have something to say, Swordmaster." the Sacaen Nomad declared, stepping forward. "I believe our new rulers are through with their deceits and their foolishness! That snake of an adviser imprisoned my father... for a secret that surely he held for a good reason. He caused our fair city a great amount of indignation when he promised us hope with this new King! You know what I say... we turn the tables on him. We throw them a "celebration" in Rogvold's honor... and trap him and his dear King where they stand, just as they did to us! We shall force them to surrender, and live the rest of their lives in shame for the suffering they caused, both King and Adviser, and then come together to vanquish our Sentrian and Mordachian opponents. ... that is all I must say, Swordsman of the Sand Dunes."<=|Nomad Trooper|==0 The path ahead shall not be easy, but I must proceed!

It was few days after the laws were declared that citizens of Learania had settled down… Well, almost the rest of the citizens. Though the beorc had some complains about the taxes and gambling, they were okay with the rest. As for the “non-beorc,” what they found were discrimination. Race of all dragon kin were banished from the city. As for those who were laguz or any form of species, they found the law to be unfair. Despite that they had the freedom to do what they pleased, they found that being registered and monitored made them feel inferior to the beorc, including Rajin.
When he first heard of the law, let’s just say he wasn’t a very happy feline. Taxes on alcohol, sure he had less money, but he could get around by finding a sucker to buy a drink for him. Street gambling was outlawed? Although he liked to play the game of chance, Rajin wasn’t much of a gambling addict. Therefore, he may visited those “legalized gambling institutions” whenever he was in the mood. Documents when going in or out of town? Okay, he may need to contact his employer about it, but he was sure it wasn’t a big deal.
Registering and being monitored because his kind were “dangerous and unpredictable?” Well, that was a different story for him. It made Rajin so furious, that he nearly killed the b*****d who informed and jeered him in the Duke’s Head. Luckily, there were some strong customers to restrain him when he “expressed” his thought about the law. There were some beorc customers who feared that any minute he would explode again. Somehow, they thought that maybe the law was going quite soft on the laguz and they should have been banished like the dragons were. After calming down, the tiger had stayed low as much as possible such as helping restocking the food in the back or getting the supplies. Helen, the owner of the Duke’s Head, demanded him to go to the castle and register.
“At least you’re not banished like those dragon people,” she said. “Not to mention, you’re still able to walk around down once register. After all, it’s not like they’re treating you like a common criminal.”
Oh, if only Helen knew what his kind went through. It was bad enough that the beorc had slave his people back in Tellius. They were inferior to those beorc, despite how strong and intelligible they were. And now, this law was trying to bring back the same feeling upon him and his kind again. Just reminded of how his kind had suffered really anger the tiger.
Should he register and be monitored just to have the same inferior feeling his ancestors had suffered? Hell no! He would rather be banished than having these humans all over him twenty-four seven. So what should he do?
Maybe he should do what the others would do, pack up the bags and ditch the country. Sure he would miss Helen and maybe the others in Eyris, but no way in hell was he going to stay and be treated inferior.
However, he had heard some rumors in Eyris. The rumors were infamous and maybe mediocre, but it did capture those who were interested. These rumors were about forming a resistance to rebel against the king. But where these resistance be strong enough to go against the king? And if so, who was leading this troop?
Curious about the resistance, Rajin asked quietly about the resistance's location. Some were far-fetched such abadoned bandit's hideout or dwelling in the mountain. However, one, which was an assassin who wielded a tome, informed him that the resistance was at FEFGA's manor.
After getting direction of where the manor was, the tiger headed forth. When he got to the place, he could see that it was quite a decent resistance. There were some who looked strong and capable of handling themselves such as old man Tibarn and there were some who shouldn't be in the resistance such as that swindler over there ((Not to mention, he had a debt to give out.)) But in overall, it was a decent resistance. All they needed was another strong fellow to help push the front. In other word, himself.
Before he could find out who was leading the troop, his ear perked when he heard the annoying voice of the swindler. Rajin kept his mouth shut when the swindler was blah blahing about some ambush attack and stupid old fart in power. Once the swindler stopped yapping his lips, he listened to the green-haired girl spoke, talking about turning the tables at them. As much as the tiger wanted to do that, he knew quite well that they still hadn't have a plan.
"Yo, I hate to rain on your parade, but you've forgotten something." Rajin spoke up to the crowd. "As much as I want to sock that old fart for declaring laws, we still have problems. First one is we don't have a plan to get that old b*****d back. Second, that old goat is using that brat as a shield than a puppet. I don't know how smart that kid is, but there's no way in hell that brat could pull all that law crap on his own. He has that old goat and some council to back him up. But from what we all know, that old fart has the power behind that kid, pulling the blind eyes on everyone and pulling strings behind. So even if we try to get back at him, that b*****d will fool these citizens that we're the bad guys trying to pull a treason on the brat while hiding behind him. If you ask me, I say we need a better strategy without having people glaring at us."

I fight for honor, for justice, for chivalry! That will always be my only reason...~x -{Leon}- x~Justice's Crusader Many thoughts were consuming the mind of a man who was in the middle of a moral dilemma. He'd held back at the opportunity, even though he had arrived here at the manor, to follow Joshua at first. Hesitation. It was a natural reaction towards the unknown, towards something that might plunge one into the greater depths of darkness and despair. Leon wasn't ready yet, he wasn't ready to lift his weapon, even if it was for something that right. All around him he'd heard and seen it, that his dearest city was just falling apart at the seams. He carried those thoughts into sleep.
But he woke up to a wondrous sound! What was this, the swordmaster's mission was a success? Well, there was something to go by! There was hope after all, even though they were fighters without a title or name of knighthood. Ordinary men, that's what Joshua and his group were. That's what Leon was. And yet, it was shown that even ordinary men could make a difference. At that moment, it was when a man of both honor and courage made his decision that he wouldn't let his lack of title keep him from doing what was right.
Laws were devices to protect people, and their enforcers also had that duty! All Rogvold's regime was doing was oppressing those they were supposed to defend. The redhead was right... as was Rajin, when he came in, no doubt discriminated against because of his odd cat-like features (Leon never really understood the Laguz racism coming from another world where they weren't around, but he did read the files on how they were treated in the world called "Tellius.") "The tiger's right, we do need a concrete plan, but somethin' that dun' reflect on us ain't gonna be easy. In order to topple this guy we gotta do somethin' big, but that means bein' noticed. Tha's our main problem." said the former Lieutenant, stepping forward to show himself to the discussion that was happening.
"I believe... in people though. If we just get 'em to open our eyes, one-by-one, tha' ol' man's gonna lose support, and the citizens will be the ones decidin' who deserves to be in power... and if I were them, I'd go pickin' the guild that's kept 'em safe and stable for years!" The young man said boldly, tightening a fist and raising it. His time for moping, hangover, and indecision was over. To actually open others' eyes of this injustice, to convince them to all rise up...that would be more than the old man and the probably reluctant Guard could handle. People would be begging to have that Nomad Trooper back in power, if they could only make it happen.☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ The defeated can rise again... and fight for what is right!

"I agree with Leon. He seems to be ready for the next step. However we are but two. This should be a democracy like we want the government to be. You know, people vote. Granted I'm not one to talk, I was never part of the guild so i don't know how things work." Wil stood up and started to polish the wood of his bow. He stroked the wood gently to get it to shine. ((Yes sexual innuendo ^.^))
He looked at the the string on his bow. It was used quite a bit during the small mission to free the prisoners. "I wouldn't suppose you guys would have a spare bow string on you? I got maybe." Wil inspected the string slightly closer. "I would say maybe ten more uses before this string snaps. Poor Sagittarius." Wil looked around at the people. "I would like a opinion. How did you guys think of my plan? I'm no tactician like Mark. Oh sorry an old friend from back on Elibe. That's my country. Anyways. I just want to know how you people think it went?"
Wil laid down on a couch comfortably. He stretched out his feet. He yawned and looked at his pack in the corner. "Do you guy's mind if I stay here? If you want I can go camp again. Been doing it from when I got here till now, so I don't mind doing it again." Wil looked up at the ceiling. "I gotta say it feels nice here. Among.... Friends I think. And at a home. Besides a tent."

Clara RisnaClara had made her way back to the manor as quickly as she could. She knew Derrin was ok. She had got back to her normal clothing. She really didn't like what she had to wear for the rescue and was gladly willing to burn it. She was just glad to have Derrin back.
She had been listening to the ideas of what would be the next step in the resistance's plan. Leon was on to something. She had an idea and a speech in mind to follow up. Though she's had that speech in mind for a while. Clara stood up from the chair she was sitting on.
"There is one thing though," She said, "They are more likely to pay attention to Learanians than anyone else. People from the same country and world will be able to relate better. That narrows down the numbers a bit, but someone like me would be able to relate to them. I know how it was before the guild came. It isn't something I would like to see again. I didn't like what was going on to begin with when this all went down. I was down right furious. I love my country and I would hate to see it fall due to some stupid nobles! Who's with me!?" She pumped her first into the air. There was also a fire now in Clara's eyes. She was very determined to save the country she had lived in her entire life Try to lay a hand on the things I care about......I'll take you down before you know it.

Let the moonlight sign post shine through the clouds to me ____and show me which road to take ______No matter how close to breaking I am today.... I'll re-awaken the distant memory of that day______ So don't forget, keep it carved in your heart. -Ephraim- Out of sight until now, Ephraim really didn't have much to do. Granted, after the new crowned king the young prince of Renais himself had been in hiding due to the fact that his lover was a Morph. He had to do something to at least smuggle him out of sight. He had been in the clinic for quite some time, mending the large cut in his arm took longer then he had expected. It wasn't fully tended to due to the facts of what had gone down in Learania and being worried about Kishuna, Ephraim minded to him before himself. He had been briefed by citizens that were there when the laws were passed and with a little more investigating, the lancer found out what had happened to a few of the other members. Rath had been charged with the murder of Nino, several others were banished for assisting....that demon back during spring...and much more. Goodness what was going on in this town. This is not how a King should act, it seemed as though this 'King' James was taking things over the top..or rather..the one running the show as he had been informed..the advisor...Rogvald was his name if Ephraim recalled. The more he thought about the situation, the closer he was to the manor then he had thought. Ephraim dismounted from his own horse, seeing another to the side. He raised his hand, pulling the hood away to reveal himself to the guards at the front. He was looked up and down before he was allowed through. Ciela had been with him the entire time, however Ephraim was too focused on what was at hand to even notice she was there. The wolf remained silent the entire time anyhow. It seems as though the lancer arrived at the wrong time. Joshua was spotted among them all, then there was Sue and a few others he didn't recognize. They were discussing what should happen and it didn't seem like they were coming to an agreement. He looked to the brunette that spoke of the citizens. It wasn't a bad idea, however, what if Rogvald didn't give a damn about them? He could very well use his powers to throw them in jail for opposing them. "What about their safety?" Ephraim interrupted, turning to Leon. "Say we do get their support. Then what? Its very likely that he will turn the army against us...all of us including the citizens if he so desired." It wasn't a bad idea at all, but there was always that option of the councils taking advantage of the situation just to shut people up if they were defied. Ephraim raised a hand to his chin, pondering the thoughts a bit before speaking up again..that is..until he was interrupted by a very enthusiastic girl. He ignored it for a moment and continued to think of another option that they could take. After a moment, the hand left his chin and his index finger pointed toward the ceiling as if a light bulb lit up. "Here's what I have in mind. Right now, I think our main focus should be on those still captive under the eyes of Rogvald. Rath, mainly. Do we have a date on when they plan his execution? Or the execution of any other members?" if they did, all the better. "As this gentlemen pointed out" referring to Leon who stood on his left. "A small group can go in town and slowly gather the people who are on our side. If a bunch of us go down, I'm sure they will suspect us." as for how well this plan was, Ephraim did not know. However, he can only hope he was reasonable about it. Losing guild members, especially the Captain would devistate others who supported Rath. Not to mention the morales the members had. ((Please let me know if I need to fix anything )) ________ So don't give up, don't stop being strong in life __________Even when you're so sad that you can't go on The wind will blow on us_________ Who worried and walked together___ no matter where we go

Suddenly, the doors to the manor where thrown open with an astounding thud. Anyone who turned their head would see a very large man with a huge sword on his back standing in the door way. It was clear that he was very mad about something, probably related to the government. Before anyone could ask who he was, the man began shouting.
"My name's Yggormr, and I hate every single one of you ********> he said as he pointed his finger around the room, "But I've heard you bastards are the ones to talk to if I wanna kill that racist, idiotic ******** of a HUMAN. I've just gotten to this Ashera-damned place and he's top on my 'To Kill' list!" By this point, anyone who knew anything about Laguz would recognize his pointed ears and facial markings that pointed him out to be a dragon. "So, which of you humans is in charge here?" He hadn't yet spotted Rajin, but he didn't care anyway. After all, Rajin was just a Laguz from the "Kitty Tribe" to him.

After the tiger finished his words, he listened the beorc talked. Somehow Leon agreed with him that they needed a plan. However, the idea of gaining people's support wouldn't be easy. Sure they may gain the support of the laguz and other species, but he knew quite well that it would take a very convincing part on the beorc. After all, the laws didn't affect them harshly as it did to the laguz and other races.
Clara seemed to understood what he said about the people's reaction. The people wanted to see their country in better state than in terrible shape, especially when they were in the middle of a war. However, unlike the swordswoman, these beorc were blind of what's going on.
Just then, his ears twitched when he heard a new voice. Turning his attention, he saw a man standing next to Leon. The tiger listened carefully to what the man said. The cyan-haired beorc understood what he said about themselves trying to rebel that old fart. The old goat did have the power to turn the table against them, with or without the support of the citizens. After all, not only did that old bag of s**t had the country's power, but also the military power too.
That's when the man spoke of his plan. He wasn't sure why would they want to rescue this captive named Rath. Wasn't that fellow accused of murder? But then again, he wasn't part of the guild member to understand that fellow. When the beorc asked for the date of execution, the tiger spoke.
"To be frank, I don't think anyone has the date of when these prisoners get executed. We knows there're news about the death sentences, but they never announced the death date in public."
While the beorc tried to see who would go to rally the support, a door suddenly burst opened, nearly making the tiger twitched. Rajin turned his head to see a large man with a huge sword. Although the fellow looked beorc, he could easily smelled that that fellow was a laguz. When the laguz opened his mouth to make an introduction, Rajin wore a twitchy face.
He freaking hates everyone in this house without even knowing them? What the hell is his problem? Rajin thought irritated. The tiger wasn't sure who the hell this laguz was, but that b*****d irritated him. Declaring some hateful words and acting like he some sort of tough guy. This b*****d was trying to make enemies in the manor instead of being an ally. That b*****d needed to control his mouth or else he may get a sock to the face.
Ignoring the lizardtard's comment, Rajin turned his attention to the cyan-haired beorc. "Rallying the support is a good idea. But you haven't explain your plan about the captives. What the hell are we going to do?"

Ziaram stayed quiet in the background. There was work to be done about the ruling king and his advisor. With the power they all possessed, it was possible for them to take out the king and the advisor.
One thing certainly rang in Ziaram's head...those from the same country...same world. Now who would he relate to there? He is a lone ranger in that category, ever since Shento was killed a good while back. But it was still a good point. People would listen to those from the same land.
A single dragon laguz came in, and pretty much made a fool of himself. That aside, there was a good point. They needed to rally support and get enough numbers to overthrow the advisor. From the way things sounded there, the advisor was the one that was running things to Ziaram. The young King James was just a figure head. Taking out said figure head wouldn't do a thing, except possibly cause a riot. The advisor was a true adversary here.
"All right. So we get the numbers to take down the fools in charge. I'm sure someone would be covering the weapon crisis, for obvious reasons. We can't use the numbers we have here without some sort of weaponry. Of course we won't take down the advisor and his king without them as well."
It was probably only a minor issue, but it would make things complicated without weapons. They were rogues to the guild, and this life style could only go so far.

→→→→→→The hands I'd kept clean→→→→→→Now look dirty→→→→→→Before I can doubt my memories→→→→→→My memories are doubting me...Annis perched herself on a chair in the background, sitting sideways with her back against one arm and her knees on the other, calves dangling against the side of the chair. The position also offered a good opening for her wings, which dangled comfortably over the other side of the chair. She brushed her hair off of her face, folding her arms under her bust as she listened to the guild members.
People were all talking, making their own dramatic speeches. Apparently they'd gone and rescued some people who were going to get arrested, whether or not they really deserved it. She figured it was their business, and if the imprisonment sentence was merited, it would get sorted out later. For now, getting things fixed was more important.
After a while, Annis cleared her throat, not bothering to rise from her chair. "I think that the posh-looking green-haired boy's right," she stated, "in that we have to get the incarcerated fellows broken out first. If anything was attempted with them still in that greasy b*****d's clutches, then they'll only be bargaining tools. Or worse. First we need to figure out who exactly is still in trouble." Annis sat up a little, lifting fingers as she spoke. "Then we need to figure out how to possibly get in contact with them, or at least reach them. And above all, work around Rogvald. The dude has a lot of soldiers. Wouldn't be surprised if he had some thieves on his side. Information collection." Annis sighed, trying to gather all the information in her head again. "So we need people to perform reconnaissance. It's risky stuff, but if we get any inside information, it'll make putting any plan into motion that much simpler."
She folded her arms again and studied the guild members in the room. "And if we kill the king, we're only going to cause more trouble, you know? The people like the kid. It's the advisor, by what I can see, that's causing all this s**t. So I say we get rid of him and we leave the kid on the throne. If he gets some competent help, maybe he'd turn out okay."
Annis brushed some dust off of her knee and leaned back comfortably. "And I'm not in the guild, so I don't have to wear that ridiculous uniform, either." We're mirrors, both of us←←←←←← Reflecting each other's karma←←←←←← Our dirty hands will touch←←←←←← And we'll know its shape...←←←←←←

Well what’s so bad about a little coin toss now and then?
The Tempest King Ahhh why don't you Live a little! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ C'mon! All in! Lucks gotta change someday! Joshua listened quietly as those with ideas made them heard. The hand in his pocket was furiously rubbing his lucky coin. He was nervous about this, this was regicide they were plotting after all. "So this is how its done," he thought. The Swordmaster couldn't help but imagine himself as the ones they were plotting against. Sue was the first to speak surprisingly. Well it was her father who was imprisoned by that monster. Swordmaster of the Sand Dunes? Not bad, he kinda liked it actually, he could think of better... but it was still good. Despite the flattery he had to shake his head no. "Kitty Rapeist has a point, we could pull it off if we planned everything to a tee. But if the slightest calculation was wrong we could end up getting everyone at the celebration killed. Our goal should be to leave the citizens out of this, unless there is no other choice." Leon was the next to speak his mind. "Exactly, winning the hearts of those we're fighting to defend couldn't hurt. but we mustn't rely on them. We just want them to know we're trying to help so they dont give up hope." Joshua's eyes looked over everyone in the room before resting on familiar blue hair. Ephraim was here. That was good, the man was a skilled fighter and a clever tactician. Though they hadn't spoke much during the war Joshua had made a few diplomatic visits to the Twins. He liked Ephraim quite a bit, and could relate to his desire to travel rather then rule. But the talks had stayed on the topic of business (which of course bored the hell out of him) so no actual friendship had developed. And as Joshua thought Ephraim had an idea. "Well Rogvald did say the end of the month didn't he? We cou-" before Joshua could finish his sentence the doors banged open. Hell one of the almost flew of the hinges. "My name's Yggormr, and I hate every single one of you ******** just stared at the man with his mouth slightly agape, "What. The. ********> He had NEVER, wanted to punt someone in the testicles as badly as he did now.
Instead he wisely turned away, "Good for you," he told the newcomer before looking back to Ephraim and... Annis (ANN-is not A-nus) who had spoken while hed been debating turning Yggomir into a soprano.
"Anyway the Guard and the Watch would have been notified of the exact date. As much as a man on the inside would be helpful we can't throw any suspicion on either. It's why I quit the Guard, if Rogvald decides to disband them then Learania will lose the war. Besides it may be unessacary, the execution will most likely be public so a date will be made known beforehand.
As for a plan to rescue Commander Vaida and Acting Captain Rath," he used their old titles on purpose. "We could make our move on the day of the execution, spread the word in secret advising the citizens not to attend.
Then we could split into four groups each with a different leader and task, one group each to attend to the prisoners, one to capture Rogvald killing him might make our situation worse as we have no evidence against him yet, though if you have no choice eliminate him. And the last group will have the hardest job of all.
They must separate the King and his adviser, and secure the King. Annis is right, James doesn't seem to be the problem here. By securing him we keep him safe and send a message to the nobles."
Crap that was alot of talking, still like all the other plans it was only an idea. If there was no support it would be scrapped.
C'est le vie ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How about we toss a coin?

Tails you DIE

John Arceni
John had came out of a room changed into a green cotton shirt and coat and white pants. He left his arm guard in his room with his bow and cloak in case of things to happen. "This is quite a troublesome predicament. Whom should we send down for this reconnaissance team? We should send some people who won't draw attention, and can bring out the best in people.." he pondered aloud and half asking the group while raising his hand to his chin and began stroking. "And we have to release our captive friends, which will also require lots of stealth and nimblenes-" being cut off as the last bit of his sentence as he turned a corner and rammed his genitals in the wood corner of a drawer. He writhed in pain slumped over the desk.

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!" "The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!"
Vaida set out from Eyris with five guards accompanying her. She didn't really think they were needed, but it was better to be cautious. They were leaving Eyris, after all, and nobody knew what surprises could be in store. In the resistance wasn't at Fefga's, Vaida would have to search elsewhere, going further away from Eyris. She didn't really want to have to do that, what with being in the middle of a war, even if things were at a current stalemate. The mission was one big pain in the a**.
As the squad marched up the road the the manor, they eventually came to the barrier. It was invisible, but when Vaida passed through it, she could feel the power that the manor had been without for a long time and was surprised to be feeling it. She knew that with the spirit back, or at least that's the only thing Vaida could think of to create the barrier, that Fefga Manor would be the best place for the resistance to be. The other soldiers kept going, but one was unable to enter. Vaida looked back at him and scowled. "So that's the kind of man you are."
The group of now five kept going and Vaida went to the door of the manor, where she knocked several times until somebody opened up. "Reports say that a lot of guests have been coming here in the past couple of days. The resistance wouldn't happen to be using this place as a hideout... would they?"
