MishibizhiwPersonality: Dekana is the tall and proud sort, not prone to talking but very much one to observe. A fickle creature, he's got a tendency to be as fluid and unpredictable as the waters he calls home. Dark, one might say, and mysterious... from an outsider's point of view he seems a bit of an enigma.
In truth, he's not a particularly sociable sort, prefering a place of power or prestige in any group he comes into contact with. He professes no need for friends and yet he keeps a few chosen ones close indeed. He's got a tendency to put up fronts, icy or hard... or mysterious. It's just how he works - he's a spiteful individual, really and will hold a grudge for a long time after an incident. He also likes to cause trouble... if someone confronts him, he won't back down, and he'll go looking for such encounters.
Restraint isn't something this teen knows - he throws himself at whatever is with determination and dedication, be it stalking the grounds for trouble or getting the blasted homework done and out of the way so he can go stalk the grounds. He's not stupid, he just knows what he wants and prioritizes around that - everybody else can go to the underworld.
Why did they enroll at the academy? Dekana didn't really choose to go the school. His family forced him there after he caused enough trouble to endanger said family at their home. They hope the time in the school will teach him some restraint and that he'll develop a circle of friends so he won't harass his family as much. On a more personal level, Dekana just wants to get this over and done with. He knows he pushed the bounds a little too far but he's a Mishibizhiw... what else is supposed to do if not cause a little misfortune?
Fear: Fear: Underrealm Torrent - As a personification of the Underwater Panther, Dekana can channel the energy of the underworld to which all his people are connected. In this attack, it is a building pressure about him that flares out in shadowy tendtrils in a similar fashion to an explosion. From this bursting bubble of underworld energies, a torrent of spectral fish and/or snakes stream, harrying the opponent. The Fish and Snakes’ attacks are as real as if they had been corporeal. The kind of response (fish or snake) and the number of respondents varies with his concentration, training, and present state of being – exhausted being a weak response, fully rested being the strongest response/offensive. The apparitions appear inky and trail shadowy smoke, almost like malicious ghosts in the air.
Summary: Illusory spectral snakes or fish attack an individual en masse.
Passive/Innate Ability: Command of Freshwater Fauna - He can order fish and amphibians and other small creatures native to fresh water environments to do his bidding. Only simple one-word commands work.
Racial Ability: Water Breathing – He can swim and breath in water as well as anyone walks and breaths on land

Unlucky Strike – Dekana can cause misfortune to strike thrice, as trouble always comes in threes. The way misfortune manifests can be as simple as a mis-step, a missed blow, or failed concentration. It always effects only the person targeted and once a target is chosen, thrice misfortune must strike before he can choose another target. Maximum use of 3 times per battle.
Ghost Step – Having progressed in his training, Dekana can step between realms. As if teleporting, he can shift his location up to 10 yards per use so long as either water or shadow is present through which to step.
