Basic rules:
1. When planning to order a custom, keep in mind that no Kirin is allowed to display pagan symbols, Wiccan symbols, or symbols relating to or implying sex, homosexuality, or racism. This is a request by the template artist and it will be respected in this shop.***** Kilen are exempt from this.
2. Play nice! No guilt tripping someone from entering, no whining (there will always be another chance next time customs open), and no harassing any thread-goer, be it staff or participants.
3. You may get one kirinoid per custom month.
4. Be sure to fill out your custom form entirely so the colorist can perform high quality and accurate work.
5. Please remember that Theia is a unedited/minor edited shop. All customs must follow this rule. In some cases colorists can open bribes that offer moderate edits.
6. If your custom form contains more than 40% non-commercial reference imagery and it is not your property, you must have permission from the artist before using them.
Items, clothes and your kirinoid
As you already know Theia is world of nature where humanoids have learned how to peacefully co-exist with nature. Simple medieval like weapons do exist (spears, bows, small swords, knives, etc.) but they are used only for hunting. Modern Earth technology does not exist here so obtaining a kirinoid with it is not possible.
Items are clothing are considered moderate edits and are only available via some bribes
1. Kirinoids can but prefer not to wear clothes, such as dresses, skirts, shirts of any kind, heavy coats and cloaks, pants, or any other type of clothing that covers more than half of their body. Reason for it is that clothes like that limit they're movements and do not feel comfortable. However, they can wear some small pieces of clothing, such as scarves, hats, sleeves, bandages, leg warmers, etc.
2. They also have no use of items that they cannot physically use, such as weapons, shields, or anything that requires a human hand to hold it. But domesticated kirinoids can carry them for their human masters as part of their equipment. If the item is small enough like a pencil or brush it can be used as hair accessory.
3. Kirinoids can have items such as jewelry, armor (domesticated), natural based accessories, some plants living on them, etc. Still be careful not to make them too big.
4. Anything along the lines of modern Earth electronics and machinery can not be obtained through regular customs. Simply because they do not exist.
If you must have it you can get it through bribes but in that case kirinoid will not exist in Theia world and will be signature candy only.
5. Colorists will not 'paint on clothing' to get around the level of editing offered in the shop.
Cosplay
Cosplays of characters from anime, movies, cartoons, games, etc. except real life people are allowed. Still because of the nature of most of them there are some rules to be followed.
There are two kinds of cosplays: those that can exist and those that can not exist in Theia.
1. Cosplays that can exist in Theia are all characters that fulfill requirements stated by rules above. Meaning if they fit in this nature based world they can breed and be RP-ed normally.
Samples:
2. Cosplays that can not exist in Theia and that will be treated as signature candy only are those that brake at least one rule stated above. These are mostly humanoids that are fully clothed, have futuristic technologies, or in any way do not fit in here. They will not be able to breed nor will they be RP-able.
These cosplay can be made to fall under first cosplay category but you will have to think a way to adjust it's look and items to be compatible with Theia world.
Samples:
3. Cosplay can only be obtained through bribes for moderate edits, otherwise all cosplays have to reflect the unedited/minor edited rules.
