I will post everyone's character profiles in this post. Other then that, this thread is so people can talk out of character.

Rules:
Forum rules and Gaia ToS apply. That is all.

I'll be posting updates here rather then in the last main post of the main thread, so make sure to read up on all the posts here!

Character Profiles:

PersianPapiiChulo
Character Name:Blake Huntington
Faction:Villain
Gender:Female(Cuz there seems to be a lack of female villains in YGO)
Age:20
Visual Description:5 foot 5 118 lbs. Perfect flawless pale skin, long, to her hips, red hair, green eyes and a rather full, but normal, figure
Personality:Arrogant, smart, determined and very flirty
History:Blake came from a large and wealthy family that died tragically in a fire. She escaped into the forest where she became friends with the wild animals. Eventually RotS found her and she wanted revenge on society for destroying her home.
Deck Name:Ground Deck-Ranger's Fury Sky Deck- ??? (Work in Progress)

Pirate_Cook_Sangi
Character Name: Kellen Miller
Faction: Hero
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Visual Description: A skinny man of average height. He wears his long dark hair in a pony tail. He wears a sleeveless blue shirt, black fingerless gloves, black jeans, and black steel-toed boots. During Sky Duels he can be seen wearing a blue fighter pilot's jacket and a pair of steel-gray goggles.
Personality: Cocky, and known to hold a grudge. He's generally seen as rude, but he will show some respect for someone he finds to be an honorable duelist. As such, he won't tolerate cheaters or black-mailers.
History: When Kellen was a young boy, his older brother taught him how to play Duel Monsters. He quickly found he was good at it and began participating it underground tournaments. His brother found out about this and, wanting to teach Kellen the ways of an honorable Duelist, entered a tournament against him.

The brothers ended up facing each other in the finals where the announcer told them and the audience that the stakes would be raised for this duel. Kellen was shocked when the announcer shouted over the loud speaker that this was going to be a death match and he and his brother were wired up so that when their lifepoints hit 0, they would be electrocuted.

Kellen tried to convince his brother to back out, but he wouldn't listen. He explained that once a duel began, an honorable duelist fought until the end. The duel was long and agonizing. Kellen kept holding back as his brother continued to fight harder and harder against him. Finally though, in an act of self-preservation, Kellen played his winning combo, reducing his brother's lifepoints to zero. His brother smiled and, just before they turned on the electricity, said to him, "I hope you now know what it means to be a Duelist."

It's been 8 years since the death of his brother. Kellen has stopped participating in illegal tournaments and instead has made it his life's goal to teach others how to follow the honorable path of the duelist.

[-Zera-]
Character Name: Kristian Clover
Faction: Villain
Gender: 13
Age: M
Visual Description: 4'9", 94 Lbs. with a slim build. He has complete heterochromia in his left eye (it's Hazel, whereas his right is Green) and his shoulder-length blond hair is fairly unkempt, except for his ponytail, which is always tied off with a black lace bow. He favors Victorian attire, almost exclusively black with gold trimmings.
Personality: Cheerful, Easy-going, Highly Intelligent, Well-Spoken, Narcissistic, Sadistic
History: Kristian was raised in a small town of Doldam where attending church daily was normal part of everyday life. Kristian was born with A.D.D. that caused frequent inattentiveness in church, a problem his parents saw simply as blasphemy against God. His parents were religious zealots and his disobedience resulted in frequent beatings in an attempt to correct the issue. After years of mental and physical abuse, Kristian's mind became fractured and he began receiving visits from a large vulture that referred to itself as the Axis. The bird would show up after each beating, and explain to the boy that everything that had happened to him was God's will. One night, Kristian woke up to find the bird perched outside his window. "Rise, boy. We have work to do," the bird called out to him. That night, the residents of Doldam have never been seen again. "That was so much fun! What are we going to do now," the boy asked cheerfully. "We move on to the next town. From this day forward, you are the Jury. This world is evil, and it is your job to purify it," the bird declared. "So, you mean I can kill more people?! Alright!" the boy replied cheerfully, as he walked toward the edge of town.

Sliver Queen
Character Name: Aidan Anfall
Faction: Villain?
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Visual Description: Aidan is a tall man, though prone to slouching or leaning. He is fit, yet his unkempt appearance sometimes disguises that fact. He has very long hair, which is generally simply swept back to hang past his waist.. He seems to always wear the same outfit, though even he appears uncertain of if it is a bathrobe from the sanitarium, or a yukata. He smokes on occasion, and tends to carry his pipe with him even if not lit.
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g98/GaianCards/Anfall01.png
Personality: At his core, Aidan is imbalanced. He doesn't see the world in the same way as other people. Ultimately, he is pragmatic to the point of being callous, having no regard for others' safety or well-being. If it would make his own situation better, he would have no problem lighting someone on fire, again. When not challenged, he is calm, though this never lasts long. His time away did little to help rehabilitate him, instead it only made him more aware of the 'true' nature of the world. That of his own self, and everything else being inconsequential.
History: Aidan was never the most centered of people, even as a child. He seemed to get into fights much too often, over even the most imagined slights. This only became worse as time passed. A certain crime occurred when he was only fifteen, a crime which earned him a permanent residence in a sanitarium. According to the law, he would spend the remainder of his life in a padded cell, unless he was able to be rehabilitated. Then came RotS. While their goals were never implicitly stated, they still needed manpower. And what better place to get that then the disgruntled and forgotten in sanitariums and prisons? the majority fo the refuse of society didn't care about RotS and offered no assistance, but Aidan was different. In a rare moment of clarity, he knew he could seize freedom in that moment, and took it. Whether he has any actual loyalty to the cause is uncertain, but for the moment, he acts in their name.

I've begun creating my card set. If I am able to join, unlike I think I'll be able to, I'll be going for one of the villain slots.

My current set is listed in the CAC subforum. The strategy revolves around the use of the Mach Counters on both players sides. The theme is inspired by aerial tactics and strategies used during the WW2 period.

Since there is no cap to the number of Mach Counters, listed on the RP, you can have. A few cards will be using more than five counters.

If this is an issue, let me know ASAP so I can adjust fire.

No issue what-so-ever.

You'll be needing 2 decks, one for sky duels and one for ground duels. Those cards you made will be for your Sky Deck of course. Cards that use Mach Counters can only be used in Sky Duels.

What will you do for a ground deck? Tanks maybe? razz

Haven't decided just yet. Working on the whole flight aspect still.

EDIT: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=20148801#274941723

Also, I thought of a wonderful jackass move for my villain. It's going to be sweeeeeeeet.

Sounds like a plan. :U

I know we've got 2 people for the RP, you and Sliver Queen. Know anyone who might be interested?

I'm definitely joining... I've come up with two decks but I'm not sure which I should use for Ground Dueling and which I should use for Sky Dueling. Or if I should be a hero or villain. Troublesome...

I am going to join, but you already knew that as I sent you a PM. I am still working on my decks. I plan on being a villain. I am thinking for one of my decks, a japanese style and a sky deck based off of mach points... I may also just continue a deck type that was shown in the anime series but never actually came out to tcg. Like maybe fairytale monsters ^.^

Am I aloud to use a deck based on cards that were only in the anime and never actually came out?

Bleach- That would be a no, though you could make new cards that are similar to them in some way. Or if you mean making new cards that just share a connection to already made cards, that's fine. Like new Glad Beasts, or further support for an anime archetype without using the original cards, that's fine too.

Lif- How's these look?

Heads up for everyone: if you fail to follow the rules for card creation, I'll take action and edit your cards myself. So, please, be considerate and follow the rules. It makes my life easier. Thank you.

Yeah, I think I might have gone a wee bit overboard with the cards, though I tried to make sure they were fair for their cost for the most part. Sorry about that.

(Also, I've been talking to another person about this place, and they just might join. They want to work on making the cards first, to make sure they can get a good deck put together.)

Like I assumed. I'm going out to the field for two weeks tomorrow. I will not be able to finish my card set until after this.

November will also be a no go for me.

Just to check, for the difference between Ground and Sky decks. Do they have to be completely different, or can we, say, use the same twenty cards in both, but the other twenty change? Like:

Ground: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP
Sky: ABCDEFGHQRSTUVWX

Something like that, anyways. Otherwise, my Sky deck is ready for inspection, then I can move on to making the character. (Speaking of, 'visual description'. Does that mean you want a pic, or a description?)

Also, I like the new card name I used, "Loony in the Sky with Diamonds".

Hmmm. Good point. Your Sky Deck must consist entirely of cards that involve the Mach Counter mechanic. I'll make sure to edit the thread to make this more clear.

Either. As long as it shows what your character looks like. I personally prefer it written.
