Liesel was lying idly in a field, or at least that's how it would seem to passerby. In reality, she was contemplating. She always did. Everything interested her, and she had to know everything. It also may seem as if she was contemplating various plants. This was actually the truth. More specifically, how many other foxes had trampled through this particular field. 'Not too many, it seems...' Her thoughts always took her everywhere.
'I haven't seen many foxes around... ever,' she thought. Rolling over to lie on her side in the tall grasses, Liesel closed her eyes. Her thoughts always seemed to soothe her to sleep somehow. These particular thoughts, as she began to doze, were of other foxes. Her parents, siblings... A potential mate... Maybe she should work on meeting new foxes...

Dakari shook his head as he looked around him. Where was he now? Cruor didn't have any fields, it was all forest. He sighed. Really he would have made a better scout than gatherer, but the two jobs were usually one and the same.
These lands were new to him. He had known trees couldn't cover the land everywhere, but he had yet to see any other type of terrain. He took a few steps forward, looking around curiously. There were a variety of plants in this land. Perhaps he could find something for their healers or for food.
Dakari didn't get very far. He almost stepped on the tail of the fox that was sleeping in the tall grass. Hurridly he back up. From the tail he knew the fox was a female, and had a very odd pattern. White with black stripes, or black with white stripes? It was hard to tell. In contrast her blonde mane and tail were bright flares of color.
Dakari took a slow step back. If he were lucky he hadn't disturbed the female and could get away. Stumbling on top of someone sleeping wasn't the best way to make friends, and Dakari wasn't even sure if he wanted friends. Did he need them? Sometimes he wasn't sure.

It seemed as if only three seconds had passed since Liesel had fallen asleep, debating on the necessity of meeting a new fox or two. She didn't know how long it had really been, but she knew why she woke up. Liesel had caught the scent of another fox nearby. 'A great time to test my theory, I suppose,' she decided, still pretending to be asleep. She opened her eyes slowly, and lifted her head to look around. Spotting the fox wasn't difficult, he was right by her tail and contrasted greatly with the tall green grass.
Liesel got up to a sitting position slowly, noting that the sun wasn't much further across the sky than it had been before; she hadn't slept for too long. She turned to examine the fox. White, with different shades of purple... nice. "Who are you?" She asked, before remembering her manners. "Oh, I mean, hello there. Who are you?"

Talking to others wasn't really Dakari's thing. He rarely seemed to talk with those he knew. He wasn't even on excellent speaking terms with family! So the thought of introducing himself to a strange female and actually having to be remotely cival brought about the start of a headache.
"My name's Dakari," he replied, sky blue eyes already looking off to one side as though contemplating an escape. He had not bargained on having the female actually wake up before he got a good distance away.

Liesel examined the fox, but then saw a butterfly. "Oh, my name is Liesel, and I think I should go now. I'm following this butterfly, you see," she said. "Goodbye!" She then pranced off after the butterfly.

Dakari stared after the female; he couldn't help it. She had to go chase a butterfly?! Not that he minded, since he would have found an excuse to slip away anyhow, but.... He shook his head; there was an old saying, airheads chasing butterflies. It kinda made sense now.
Well, whatever. He continued his wandering before it got interrupting, the black and white female already in a distant corner of his mind and fading away.
