Map of the Estate
Random Locations
Guests’ Quarters: Bedrooms are located sporadically throughout the castle, though there are large groupings in corridors on both the third and fourth floor. Each room is decorated in a different theme, and some seem prepared with a specific guest in mind.
Corridors: Are all over the place, and they seem to change from day to day. One may find themselves taking the same path over the course of a few days and finding themselves in a different location every time.
~A Note About Locating Areas Within the Castle~
All areas are subject to frequent and disturbing changes in location, a feat which makes the castle itself impossible to accurately map. Certain rooms are located on certain floors, though on any given day they might be found on different sides of said floor. Generally, if a guest sets out with a particular location in mind, and they’re on the correct floor for it, they will eventually happen upon it (Though, depending on their natural senses of direction and how much it amuses Veritas, it may take a while). If they set out with no destination in mind, they will either find endless hallways, or eventually lead themselves to a random location.
Servants, especially those who belong to Veritas, are gifted with the ability to find any location they seek.
Grounds:
Stream: The Stream: This little brook spawns from some unknown place miles away from the estate, and travels serenely across the north area of the castle, eventually winding it’s way into the forest in the south-west area. The water is clear and inviting, and scarcely more than a foot deep, and in areas where it touches the edges of the gardens there are benches set out for guests.
The Gardens: Surrounding the entire expanse of the castle are the Gardens, all showcasing different themes in different areas. Nearly every exit to the estate, save the main entrance doors, will land you somewhere in the midst of the gardens. Paths extend in different directions, leading visitors in various locations (The Forest, The Stream, and The Outer Grounds), and are decorated with benches for sitting and fountains for viewing.

The Forest: Ancient and foreboding, a forest, almost disconsolate in appearance, sits comfortably on the south-west side of the estate, just a stone’s throw away from the Gardens. No matter how sunny the day is, it is always dense and shaded, and there’s no end to the sprawling trees in sight. Visitors are generally discouraged from wandering within these archaic walls, for many have been lost to its endless paths...and who can say what forms of beasts might dwell there?
The Outer Grounds
Located on the eastern side of the estate, the outer grounds of the castle play host to a few ancient landmarks, all forgotten by time and rarely visited or tended to by any living soul.

The Church: Wander too far from the castle and you might stumble upon the abandoned church; a dilapidated structure which sits amongst a sad display of yellowing grass and withering trees. The doors have nearly rusted off their hinges, the ornate carvings on their surfaces now worn beyond proper recognition. Once inside, one will be accosted by the strong scent of dust, and age. Their shoes will leave prints on the vehemently dusty floors. The pews are in disarray...moved into random areas and tipped onto their sides as if some great force barreled mercilessly through them. At the end of the space is an alter, placed lovingly before a marble statue which depicts a God of some sort, no longer worshiped by any living being; It might even be a representation of Veritas himself, chiseled before he allowed his form to succumb to old age, though such notions are only spawned from rumor.
There are stairs in the right-hand corner of the room which lead down below into a set of eerie catacombs, where the old priests who tended to the church in the days of old are laid to rest.
Some guests might find this place eerie, some might find it peaceful or nostalgic...but one thing is certain to anyone who breaches the area; No one has worshiped in this place for a very, very long time.
The Cemetery: Located just beside The Church, the Cemetery is in a similar state to the structure it was built to partner. The graves are old and untended, their inscriptions all worn away; destroyed by years of exposure to the elements. It is a quiet place, generally untouched by any living beings...though if one were to venture close to it at nightfall, they might spy a few wispy forms of light drifting about the markers...small remnants of souls long since passed.

Solarium:
A indoor botanical garden, self maintained and kept perfect year round. It could be found through one of the secret libraries throughout the labyrinth-like castle... One would assume it has a few entrances...There should be one that leads outside, and yet another that goes into another part of the castle.

Quote:
The wood changed from the deep oak of the library at the end of the doorway to a light, almost white color… It was natural… Shining though, with some kind of sealant. It was a wood like no color she had ever seen-- Almost silver. And through there, she could see the sun shining in from the double doorway. Upon walking in, she was taken aback by the indoor garden. Her hazel eyes grew wide as she took in the multicolored glass panels and pristine statues… Plants that she had never seen, flowers of the most vibrant colors grew neatly from their arranged areas… Chaise lounges, benches, overstuffed chairs and tables with what looked like half played games on them were scattered everywhere. It was a strange mix of indoors and outdoors—Glittering crystals hanging from the ceiling that sent sparkling, hazy light across the room.
