Child's name: Precious Flower (Presh)
Sex: Female
Appearance: Undecided. Possibly with some sort of horns to mimic her god.
Inspiration: Presh is inspired by the
Maenad mythos. Maenads were female followers of the god Dionysus known for their strange, ecstatic trances and ability to draw wine, milk and honey from the earth. They are wild creatures who will hunt down animals and kill them with their bare hands.
Ability: Divine Madness - Presh can call up a sort of madness in those around her, making them go into an ecstatic trance-like state. This can vary from seemingly slight intoxication to full-blown orgiastic ecstacy to extreme violence. It depends both on Presh's mood when she calls the madness and to a lesser extent the personality of the person affected. When awoken from the trance, there is no memory of the events that took place while entranced. This is often the most difficult aspect for people to accept.
Personality: Presh is wild and dangerous. She has that sort of charisma that draws people to her, because she is constantly living in the moment. Neither the future nor the past have any real meaning to her, she only cares about the now. When she becomes too emotional she goes into a trancelike state and draws anyone in her vicinity into that state with her. Presh is also obsessed with pleasure. She likes to surround herself with things that are luxurious or rich. She is constantly eating but it never seems to alter her body shape, probably because she is also constantly expending so much energy. She doesn't truly care about very many people, and her constantly putting herself first can be somewhat infuriating. She's very devoted to her god (who she seems unable to name) and worships through her trances and by communing with nature.
Guardians: Presh's primary guardians will be Apollonaire and Dianne, but she will belong to the entire coven. Galleai will probably take care of her a lot, as she is not a vampire and able to be active during the day. Nicola will be responsible for Presh's obnoxiously pretentious name.
