Star sat in the hole of the tree, not hungry but wondering how amber hunts, she also has to train. It took her 5 different times to catch a boar for her growing group. She needed to find a bigger home as well, but hunting seems more important then a roof over her head. She then looked at the two in her group sleeping, wondering is Onyx will stay put while they are gone. He had better or she was going to take a chunk out of his a**.

Amber started to wake, she yawned, then realized Star was staring at her. It's been a month since they met, they have all hunted together many times, but only caught small things like rabbits, because Onyx would step on a twig, or trip. Maybe that's why she is being stared at, but she would not give up on Onyx. "What Star?"

"You and I need to train as hunters and leave Onyx here in the tree, or else we will never learn to hunt big game." She was trying to loosen up with the two, she hated talking so, harsh I guess you could say. "Do you think that's okay? I mean he is a big part of our group, but since he is a pup, he is very clumsy."

"Yea you are right, we do need to train, he won't be happy." She could tell Star was really trying to open up, she thought it was cute. She wondered how Onyx was going to react? She nudged him, still nothing. He was a deep sleeper, but he is a pup, what else is there then to eat and sleep. At least he got out of his depression about being abandoned.

Onyx felt the nudge but didn't want to get up, he then was nudged harder so he opened his eyes and lifted up his head, very sleepy. "wha?" He almost fell back down into sleep, he had had too much excitement for just a pup.

Star sighed at him being so tired, but that was normal, she just didn't remember being a pup herself. "Onyx, Amber and I are going to go train for hunting, you are gonna stay back here okay?" She then realized he might get killed. "We will hide the hole, just don't think we are abandoning you. Understood? If you do understand repeat what I just said..."

Onyx rubbed his eyes. "Yea I understand....you two going to hunt, hiding the hole and bla bla not being abandoned." He then crashed back into the dried up grass. Slowly drifting off yet again.

Amber smiled at the young pup. She leans down and kisses him on the forehead. "Lets go, before he can complain. I wonder what we are going to hunt, I hope it's a deer, they are yummy" She licked her lips , then went to break some branches to hide the hole, which wasn't that obvious in the first place.

"Deer are too easy, we are going to try for a stag, they just lost their antlers, so it won't be as dangerous, but we definitely need to train on tougher things. I will grab the wind pipe, you grab and scratch at it's hind. You have to be careful of its legs, they can easily break ribs. Hmm, I think you should grab it's wind pipe, can't afford you to get hurt. Not that you can't do it, I just don't want you to get hurt, I'm too protective..." She smiled.

[2 hours go by]
The two finally find a small group of deer, and one large stag, that was their target, they waited and watched for the right time, it took another hour just for the stag to get 5 feet away from them, They were down wind so none of the deer had a clue

Amber heard Star Click her tongue as a sign that they should attack, so she jumped out. She jumped out, all the deer dash away, they stunned the male, then he was off, she chased him, getting closer to the front, the Male turned a sharp turn, which caused her to fall back a little bit but she caught right back, then went for the jugular, she missed, but that didn't slow her down, she could run faster if she wanted so she did, then jumped on the back, biting large chunk in the skin, and deep gashes from her nails. The more damage she caused, the slower the male went, which was a good thing.

Star watched Amber work, she was very impressed. She jumped onto it;'s back, trying her best to cause as much damage. She has taken out at least 4 huge gashes before the buck kicked her hard, that did not stop her, but it hurt like hell, she thought to herself. "it's going to take alot more then that to stop me" Them ripped a good chunk out of his hind leg, the Buck was slowing down, but getting more desperate, which was when it really got dangerous. The buck stopped and kicked again, this time It missed, just in time with the kick she grabbed at the belly with her razor sharp teeth, tearing open the stomach, spilling out some of the small intestine.

When the buck stopped she ran into the front, the deer turned towards Star. "s**t" She ran beside the dying, but very strong buck. Sh fallowed the buck grabbing its neck, it kicked a few more times, since she was blocking its wind pipe, the Buck was slowing down.

While the buck was slowing down, this was her chance, so she jumped at the neck and broke it with her bite the jugular, it slowed down more and more until it fell, seeing Amber still biting down onto its wind pipe, it bleed to death, still kicking. "We did it!!, good job!"
