Alright, since all of us are caught up in the manga, we pretty much know that there's going to be a time skip of two years. Question is though, do you want to have a time skip here too? Of course we won't take this action immediantly, but maybe after 10 or 12 chapters after the time skip in the manga do we take effect, and even then, it won't be anything big.
it will just be after the story or whatever we go through, we just stop right there, press the "two years later" button, and we end right back on the ship like nothing ever happened.
Or
we could not ever mention the time skip, or that the time skip had already happened before this rp setting began.
See, I have a feeling that the rest of the crew is going to get older, maybe grow a beard or muscles, and of course different powers. I want to reflect that in the rp. I also maybe kinda wan to (narcissistic ally) want to develop Saberie in two years.
So, it's all up to the majority of you guys. What do you think?

Well to make the time skip easier we do like the ship got caught up in a storm and it warped us through two years or something like that...
Or the storm theory, but it separated us and put us all on different islands (kinda like the manga) and we all learned new things and changed physically. And then somehow we all end up finding each other in a town on an island somewhere. Because of some kind of tournament or something like that idk... just a thought.

Well, I was speaking the canon way, but it remains to be see how they meet back up... But I was thinking more like
"Wow that sure was a great adventure!"
*Manga story that won't be mentioned in the rp*
*time skip*
*Crew meets back up again*
"Wow! Now we're in the new world!"

Yes, I talked to Rufi and Nami about it before but they didn't seem too keen on it, but I don't think I explained what I meant very well. However, once Ora, Nami, Zoro, (Katie maybe) and Rufi vote, that will determine it.

I would appreciate a time skip. It'd let us take a breather, and re adjust the characters a bit. We've been kind at the end of our ropes with them. And perhaps, in the transition, we can find new people to help fill the gap of our missing Nakama.
The original Mugiwara characters could definitely use the time, and Saberie would be awesome to see grown up a bit. The only questioned posed on my behalf to everyone is whether or not I would keep Tashigi. It'd be easy to ditch her in the two years, but to be honest, I love her as a character in the manga, and think she'd be interesting to keep around. Are supposed espionage mission could actually take a root, though, it be cool to get another Marine around.
I'd like a group opinion on that.

well, like I've been saying, Donzan is a marine and I would love to have some wacky adventures with her, Smoker, Tashigi, and some other marines. I've been trying to get our Jango to come play with us, too. And maybe some people who play single characters can make up their own marines and join!

I still don't like the idea of RPing the time skip (I hate change), but I can't really decide until I see how different things are after the skip. Like, if not much has changed for each character other than they're all stronger, then I'm all for it, but if things have changed for all the characters drastically then I might not be too into it. But we don't know exactly how the skip is going to affect everyone yet, so I don't know where I stand until we see some new chapters and know for sure what we're dealing with.

another thing about the time skip is the mugiwara might get a new crewmember later and the time skip would make that better.

I mean like; if a new crew member joins like Jimbei or Handcock or someone joins Luffy when he's about to leave to meet back up with his crew, then we can easily use the time skip and not have to explain how that new member got there.
