Here is where the Jedi profiles will be accepted. Once they are approved you may post them in your profile thread of characters so that you and others can make reference to it for information during the story. For those positions that require RP samples, the faster you supply one, the faster your profile will be approved. I would suggest perhaps placing your RP sample at the bottom of your Profile, so that I can approve it all right then. Each Jedi Master will be eventually assigned a Padawan, however Jedi Council Members will not have padawans. Remember padawans must obey their masters when assigned underneath them. Disobeying them will lead you down the path of the dark side.

Appearance: Gaia Name: Themanwholivesintheclouds Name: Turan Uruk Age: 1274 Gender: Malish, He's a plant, but he is a masculine plant. Race: Neti, Sentient Plant species. Height: Can be between 2 and 9.5 meters tall, his average form unless otherwise altered stays at about 8 feet tall. Weight: Alters with size, but taking in his treelike physical being he can be counted as usually dense. Alignment: Light Faction: (Leave this Blank for Now) Personality:Turan Uruk is a patient plant with no real equal in the ability to wait. The matters of rushing and importance tend to fade when you have a millenia under your belt. A certain level of compassion and kindness for other sentients has come alongside his patience because of their general short lived nature. His attuned nature to the force has helped that along. He loves to teach as well, learning things and sharing his knowledge has become a passion that dictated his existence. In battle Turan is known for being a fierce warrior, a being to be reckoned with if pushed. Unfortunately his compassion for life can interfere with his battles. His tree like nature shows in the strength he carries into battle, his immovable will forces him to push on throughout combat. He detests violence in most forms, only performing it at the utmost need. Lightsaber Style: A pair of matching sabers than can be conjoined to form a double bladed lightsaber sit on his hip. Lightsaber pike, his main weapon which he uses as a walking stick most of the time. This weapon carries signifigance because pices of his body have grown over his handle making the body of the pike look like an ancient relic of some sort. Lightsaber Form: Niman is his most frequent and most powerful form, he is very good at blending the different styles together. Unlike the shorter lived species Turan has had time to develop his skills with the five previous styles to masterful levels. This makes him a very dangerous diplomat. Jar'kal and Soresu are his other most talented styles, seeing his ability to control multiple limbs naturally he has learned to use multiple sabers but his defensive ability is superb. Sokan always dictating his manuevers in combat. The old jedi is a masterful manipulator of manuevers and opponents. Lightsaber Color: Green for his pike, blue for his double bladed Lightsaber Upgrades: A kasha crystal within his pike, to help keep his mind clear. Adegan crystals were used in his dual blades to help breed light and order when he was forced to pick up these blades. Rank: Grand master Class: Jedi Counsular Accessories: His robes and a basic long range communicator, he finds no need for much else. Transportation: Anxarta-class light freighter, a very basic transport ship but it suits his needs. Home World: Nerit Force Powers: (If Jedi or Sith) Force body Buried Presence Force Heal Hibernation Trance Force visions Force meld Animal surge Force push Force pull Force Combustion ForceDeflection Force light Force Bubble Electric Judgement Plant Surge Custom Techniques: True Overgrowth - This is a very basic ability in regards to comprehension. Turan turns the force ability known as plant surge inward on his roots causing a violent growth spurt. Unlike the usual use of Plant surge which causes the life in the area to grow at an alarming rate and gave the user minor control over the plant life, Turan has control over his roots more articulately and can control each one simultaneously as they grow. The downside is that he must sever himself from his expanded roots once the technique is complete, the overgrowth of roots is almost tumor like and must be cut off before he can regain normal mobility. Skills/Abilities Photosynthesizer - Due to his plant like nature he has next to no need for food and only minimal requirements for water as long as strong Broad spectrum light was available. Shapeshifting - his plant like species has the ability to turn from a rough humanoid shape, roughly two meters tall, to a large tree, over nine meters tall. They can do this at will and the change is rather quick. Powerful Healer - His reverence for life and being a sentient plant has granted him a great knowledge for biological make up and the transference of energy within living beings. Journal Entry: Born near the end of the New Sith Wars Turan came into the world as an exceptionally bright sapling amongst his people. The Neti people are all force sensitive but it didn't take long for his elders to see he was a brighter individual. He questioned everything that existed and was never satisfied until he got solid answers. Before he was even two decades old he was in the jedi academy and brightly pursuing his training. Turan spent nearly six full decades as a padawan, not out of necessity though. Turan liked the atmosphere of learning and understanding under a Master. Although not quite fully matured, he was intellectually ready though, Turan passed his tests and became a Jedi knight. Pursuing the great mysteries of the galaxies, thanks to his long lived nature he didn't have to rush through things. He is accredited with many findings thanks to this ability, when you can sit for years at a time and not move even the most secretive things will reveal themselves. After another century spent learning how things worked in the universe Turan turned his attention to the individuals who populated the universe. Being nearly two centuries old he had seen friends age and die and new ones born and grown and withered once again. It was a sad thing for Turan who loved life and existence so much. Turning his attention to politics, psychology, and sociology Turan became a top notch consular. Although not able to solve every problem or dispute in the universe he did his best to help. Turan watched as the ages passed him by. Made a Jedi Master before his four hundredth year of existence, he didn't use the term birthday because it didn't really fit for plants. Master Turan Uruk was not a very well known master, but he was highly respected amongst those who did know him. He trained twelve padawans in this age, competent and skilled individuals. Only one fell to the darkside, Turan took it upon himself to rectify this problem. Turan became extremely depressed after this event, it was the first time in his 500 years that he had been forced to take anothers life and it was devestating. Just after 296 BBY Turan disappears from the jedi order, only informing a few of his fellow Masters where he is going. Turan returned to the birthplace of his people to spend time trying to truly understand what could drive one to the darkside. During this time Turan discovered many answers to life and existence but never could one so optimistic or pure of mind find any true reasoning for turning to the darkside. To reach these thoughts Turan entered a Hibernation trance in the wilderness of Myrkr and stayed this way for over two centuries. He awoke once in 19 BBY when he felt pain like no other, the great jedi purge began and he felt the force actually ripple in the universe. Not knowing what to do he pushed himself back to sleep, not knowing of anyway he could be of help. Turan's true awakening would not come until 27 ABY, this would be pushed along greatly by the passing of Anakin Solo. Although having never met and no real connection it was the fading of such a strong presence in the force so near to him that finnaly startled Turan out of his slumber and forced him awake. It would be four decades before he rejoined the Jedi order, but he was awake at last. Returning to the order Turan learned of what had passed in the last three centuries, feeling terrible for his lack of service to the Jedi order Turan turned all of his knowledge and experience towards helping rebuild the order. Turan did not want to take on great responsibilities do to his past failures, so he mainly just acted as an archive for many years amongst the order passing on his knowledge and helping padawans understand the force. Turan did not take the title of Grandmaster willingly. When the previous Grandmaster, Reave, left abruptly there was confusion amongst the members of the order. What they needed was some one who was steady and could set their roots deep in a foundation that would not shift or waver. Turan, not forgetting his past transgressions, accepted the role and does everything within his power to help the Jedi continue to grow in a healthy way. Having seen the faults of entire periods of time unfold he is a wise and cautious leader.

He is young and new to the galaxy still and will gladly listen to any advice from his superiors. He is naive about many political beliefs, questioning why everyone couldn't be more like himself-- bettering themselves daily and being respectful of everything. ● Duel-Master - Jace has his own style of combat, mixing in many elements from different fighting styles and force powers. He uses the force to place himself in advantageous positions in battle, or put his opponent in a bad spot. His techniques involve a flurry of motion and attacks, seeking out a weak point in the opponent's defenses and exploiting it, while his defensive measures involve blocking multiple opponents. He has learned how to deactivate his saber blade before it touches him and reactivate it to block an attack (Saberstaff only).
● Fighter Pilot - Jace has trained in a spaceflight combat simulator and, being the perfectionist he is, left with the highest marks for flying than anyone else. However, he has yet to experience actual combat. His knowledge of fighter craft allow him to use multiple types of spacecraft.
● Marksman - While most Jedi are appalled by the use of blaster weapons, Jace has trained with blaster rifles to use in dire situations, or to attack an out-of-reach target. Blaster pistols or heavy weaponry is better left to the experts, however.
● Gadget Geek - Jace loves building small gadgets that he thinks could aid him in battle. He can build a variety of small gadgets, which he normally carries on him, and allows him to make repairs on small equipment. This allows him to make modifications or build lightsabers and gives him the basic knowledge of how to hot-wire simple security panels or fighter craft. His parents provided him with a basic education and taught gave him moral guidelines. His mother was a former Jedi and his father was a Republican soldier. At the young age of six the two parents brought their child into the Jedi enclave to see if he had the potential to be a Jedi, they found Jace to be force-sensitive. A week later he entered training at the Jedi enclave with the full support of his parents.
As an initiate to the Jedi, Jace was a promising student and showed great potential, taking in the customs and culture of the Jedi with enthusiasm. But his greatest hindrance was that he was a very aggressive learner, using Force Comprehension to absorb knowledge rapidly. Seeking constant self-improvement, he was almost always studying, dueling or doing physical drills, which left him little time for friends. An Echani family, who moved there from off-planet, were family friends of the Rex family. The daughter of the family was the same age as Jace and while not Force-sensitive she would duel with him to help his dueling skill.
During his Padawan training Jace rarely left the planet Dantooine. This was because his Master did not believe he was ready for the Galaxy yet. On their first real mission Jace's Master was killed, though the target criminal they were after was apprehended. This tragedy pushed Jace back in his Padawan training and his new Master was paranoid and didn't believe Jace was ready to become a Jedi Knight. After another two years, Jace passed all of his tests flawlessly, though the Jedi Masters were very skeptical of him because of his attitude.
Jace became a full-fledged Jedi Knight Guardian after some debate and eagerly applied for the first mission he could to leave Dantooine. The Echani family gave Jace an old family heirloom upon graduation, a custom hand-crafted saberstaff. Jace promised to return one day with something just as valuable. New to the Galaxy, Jace seeks to learn everything about it and still takes advice from his superiors as divine law. After several months, the Jedi Masters found a mission they were confident would make or break Jace and sent him on it. I don't have a picture that I can provide at the moment. I understand where your got your Alignment from, since I've played Dungeons and Dragons for 8 years. But by alignment, we meant Light, Dark, or Gray/Neutral. As a Jedi, you are Light, and thus you place that there.
Normally, I wouldn't allow your bio. The Jedi don't normally allow anyone in above the age of 6 because of how attached they are to their family by that point. However, if Clouds doesn't mind, I'll accept it.
So basically, PM Clouds and ask him to look at your bio. If he agrees to it, your character is accepted.

Yeah, the first set of padawans in the rebuilt praxeum were all fully grown, one of them was even an old man. It came from the necessity to rebuild the order. They couldn't afford to pass any student over. Later he decided that children were easier to teach so they began searching for children, but to the best of my knowledge they never fully reverted to the old way.

Yes, I was aiming for the youngest age I could, but thought for some reason the age was ten and not six. I was not sure of the era of the role-play universe... Serves me right for not double-checking. I'll change that say that he was given a basic education by his parents.
I'll also change the alignment to Light. Mind if I add Force Sense to the list of powers he has?

However should you get past the shy girl mask you will be shown the true person, that is Kinsa. She is a quick witted caring girl who will be bluntly honest when she feels like it. On the other hand if she notices that you can not handle the bluntness of the truth directly she will try to ease into it which often fails. While focused on an objective she has unmatched concentration. She is a very trusting and loving person who absolutely loves to pick on people she deems needing it.

This is one of the most basic Force Powers where by, as the name implies, the Force is used to push objects and/or beings. It is used by focusing on the target, often indicated by hand gestures, and moving the "Force Aura" emitted from all objects. For learners, this often requires a large amount concentration even to move the smallest of objects. However, it becomes more natural with experience. This is a progressive Force move, allowing for higher ranking characters to move larger objects, ranging from a pebble for a Padawan, all the way to fighter craft for Masters.

This move is similar to that of Force Push, except with the obvious difference of dragging an item towards the user, rather than pushing it away. Again, this is a progressive Force Power, the effectiveness improving with higher ranked characters.
●F o r c e J u m p
This move also uses a mixture of both Force Push and Force Pull to lunge a user high into the air by moving the "Force Aura" they emit. Trained Padawans have the ability to Force Jump only several meters into the air, this increases as their rank improves. Jedi Masters, with enough concentration, can leap skyscrapers when needed.
●F o r c e S p e e d
This Force Power uses the Force to increase one's combat speed. Attacks with a lightsaber, the speed in which the user can run, as well as their reaction time improve with the use of this ability, however, the time taken to use a Force Power does not. For lower ranking characters, much concentration is needed to execute this ability, therefore making it almost useless in any situation until they progress through the ranks. A Padawan's speed may only increase a minute amount as well. A Knight or Guardian can use the command with only seconds of preparation, increasing their speed up to twice what it normally would be. A Jedi Master could perform Force Speed almost instantaneously, speeding themselves up three fold. The drawback to this ability is that it can tire the user quickly as it is a massive drain on their stamina and should therefore be only used for a quick and certain resolution to a fight
●B e a s t T r i c k
Animal Friendship, also referred to as Beast Control or Beast Trick, was the Force ability to calm an animal. Once calmed, the animal would be tamed enough to be ridden or to simply remain calm.
●F o r c e V a l o r
Force Valor was a light side Force power that increased the resolve, accuracy, and speed of one's self and one's allies. Tapping into the Force, a Jedi could increase the rate at which one's capacities functioned, allowing the body to move more quickly, strike more powerfully, and fight with improved accuracy. The more wise, charismatic, and skilled the caster was, the more profound the effects of Force Valor were. Yoda used this ability to overcome the infirmities of old age, which was quite necessary for a practitioner of Form IV lightsaber combat.

C u s t o m - J e d i - P o w e r s: ● Force Sense
Kinsa was born with the ability to sense the force to a greater extent then most jedi padawan; and once she feels the force around a person she can always remember that feeling. Over time she learned to harness this gift; though not yet able to use this power at will she can still feel the force in those around her if she concentrates or is around them for long periods of time. In the future Kinsa may be able to widen the range she can feel from the same room to a whole building. (not until Knight or Master Level) She may also learn to feel others with the force that are hiding without needing to concentrate to an extreme level. It was for this reason not long after she was born the Jedi came to her mother and had Kinsa's name place in the list of future Younglings. A few years went by before the jedi returned to take Kinsa to the temple and teach her. However that was long ago and Kinsa only remembers it vaguely. Once at the temple her skills soon showed her to be a promising jedi, however Kinsa had one flaw, she let her emotions and pride show to often. Though she did not show any signs of going to the dark side the masters still kept a close eye on her. Over the years Kinsa learned that the force seemed to be felt differently by all those around her. She learned this by talking with masters and fellow padawans alike. To her it is like a warm flame that gives her strength from its heat. Others felt it like waves, threads,and with their five sense. While Kinsa still is not sure why this is she has found learning about the force can be both difficult and rewarding at the same time. Kinsa acquired the rank of padawan much quicker then most younglings, showing great potential in the jedi arts. However with her emotions as they are the council has yet to assign her to a master. So Kinsa speands seemingly endless nights training
