The history of the Bashirou family is one of war and betrayal going back more than fifty generations when two brothers, vying for the position to become the head of this warrior household did everything in their power to secure the position. The elder of the two brothers married the daughter of a rich and powerful man, a foreigner from lands outside of the Shinobi Nations of the name Storn. When news had reached the younger brother that his father was to name his older brother as head of the clan, he and his witch wife struck, attempting to steal the seat of the rightful Bashirou heir. The older brother, with the help of loyal men, drove back the power hungry younger brother and his promises of riches, but not before some of the clansmen switched sides and went into exile with him to the mountains of the Land of Lightning. The Bashirous remained in the depths of the deserts of the Land of Wind, but never quite recovered.

As a young child he had been afflicted with a case of sleep paralysis, it hasn't bothered him for a long time. Ever since then it has caused him great fear to be in a position where he can't move or talk. Early on his parents and he, knew he could use Chakra, so he was sent off to the Academy as soon as he was of age. During his free days and starting before he even started, he learned the ways of the Samurai and has a very basic understanding of their swordplay. His father had taught him as much as he could, it was knowledge from his youth. In the Academy Haji learned the basics of their Jutsu, specializing in it as well as the ability to use two types of Ninjutsu. In classes he was neither incredibly smart nor a dunce, he performed well enough to graduate from the academy. What was notable though, is how well mannered he was, when they sparred or practiced jutsu among other things he had an air of honor and virtue that he tried to keep. The way he treated people, and his fairness and friendliness had Haji popular with the younger Academy students, they admired and found a friend in him. But that was behind him now, now Hajime Asuhara steps into the Shinobi World, ready to make his mark upon history!

Ever since then he's been tending to himself out in the wilds, only taking trips to Takumi and other places to collect supplies or sell goods. He doesn't have to much of a care for being a Shinobi but hasn't completely disregarded the thought entirely.

Nindo: "There is an Order in Nature that I must uphold." Personality: At first glance, she seems to be the strong, silent type. She focuses on her training, on her duties to her family/friends/village, and on maintaining a work-life balance. She believes in keeping order, that there's a natural law in the world that must be followed for everything to be in 'balance'. Order, Nature, and Balance are giant concepts that she fully believes in, and she is surprisingly idealistic for someone so grounded all the time. She is in-the-air about spirituality in the sense of Higher Beings, though she also believes in a mind-body-soul balance. She has a logical approach to most problems, tending to categorize and compartmentalize people and issues to be more efficient, which makes her seem cold or assuming to some. She is also very big-picture over detail-oriented, so more often than not she comes off as apathetic.
If you can get past that, she is a great friend. She's loyal to her buddies and generally gives great advice if you sweat the small stuff. Once she was strong enough to actually learn real techniques, however, the elder that took her in suffered a heart attack. Even though he was an uchiha his father was actually a pacifist, teaching his son how to avoid conflict and to live in peace. Unfortunately this would be his undoing as his father was ultimately killed by bandits and Atsuko found himself stolen away at age 8. From 8 to 14 he was forced to fight in a child slave ring. Killing wasn't forced but sometimes was necessary to survive. Ultimately he escaped helping to lead a rebellion. After this he formed the group now known as the Shishin, gathering them one by one until they formed the foundation for their future.

Chigiri means "Destiny", and the name was chosen for her as she was declared destined to bring the crime family great honor and notoriety. With this marking her journey from birth, she was trained and taught the ways of the family from the age of three onward. Learning the ways of the sword, and how to operate in a criminal manner were her schooling.
Upon her tenth birthday, she was presented with a special rabbit companion, a Shinobi breed of rabbit acquired from a breeder in Takumi. The rabbit was subsequently named Kuro because of her jet-black fur. Kuro was said to get stronger and bigger as her bonded partner grew in power, forming a link between their chakra. Kuro's life-span was also linked to Chigiri's once the two became acquainted, meaning the rabbit would never expire of old age before Chigiri.
With a couple of years passing and a life-long bond forged between Chigiri and Kuro, the time came for the young crime heiress to take her place in the world, and as such, she was offered up to Otogakure to be trained in their academy and become one of their ninja operatives. She came in at about the age of 9, Taking her time in her clases and trying to learn as much as she could. However an issued soon became evident. In every single case of social activity there are those that want to try and usurp and establish there dominance. She was bullied, and bullied alot. She ended up skipping a lot of classes, avoiding school when she could get away with it. However eventually she did graduate, towards the back of the class.
However she didnt go dirrectly into service. She took her knowledge and kept it, trained with it on her own to make sure that she retained the basics the academy taught. She started running to get a sense of freedom away from people. Always staying within the village confines she would run daily, getting up early in the morning to take a run and keep herself in shape. She eventually blossomed into a tall and slender woman, however she still thinks her body has much to be desired. She has her own subtle beauty but it isnt what people usually consider hot or desirable. Finally she joined back into the kirigakure military, shortly after a invasion of demons and monsters took the rest of her immediate family from her. She has nothing left but her own thoughts and free will, so she simply made the decision. Shortly after joining, the main family of the clan took her in as a surragate child, and she remains in their care to present.

Hanako was born with one anomoly that would make her a prized asset to the family, and that was the Sakkakugan. The bloodline limit of the clan. This would shape her destiny as it meant the life of a Kunoichi was meant for her. Though her earlier years were plagued with intense mental training and focus, causing the latent bi-polar disorders to manifest. These were hidden and managed by treating her like a princess, even though she was not a noble of any royal family, the members of her clan branch did so to keep her from going into fits of rage or unbearable depression.
As Hanako aged, she was inducted into the Academy of the Sand Village and trained in the arts of ninjutsu, genjutsu, but for some reason, she was never really able to master taijutsu. The basics of the hand-to-hand fighting technique seemed to be a difficulty, not to mention she was not as sturdy as some of the students. It was her intellect and prowess with Genjutsu that granted her the edge, though, and eventually lead to her graduation. Being granted the title of Genin was a high honor for her, and the family. Now she had to further improve on the honor by becoming a truly fearsome asset to the Sand Village.
