Artemis waited at the gates, trying to appear like she was just looking for an ANBU and not attempting to leave. She waited for Atsuko to appear as she looked around for a guard, eager to collect her earnings and then return to the village for a quick excursion - and hopefully that free meal, too.

Atsuko arrived aside Artemis, a bit more bandaged but a bit better off, waiting as well for their rewards.

A small female anbu with a fox mask soon appeared at the gates in a small puff of pink mist. Approaching the two she handed each of them a manila folder and a sealed string bound scroll. When she spoke it was clear she was no more then thirteen or fourteen,"Lord Chosokabe asked me to give these to you and to once again thank you for your work. He councils you not to spend it all at once, and that you should ensure the seals on those scrolls are not broken if and when you return." With that she small girl yet again, exploded in a pink puff of smoke.

Atsuko took the scroll carefully, putting it into his backpack along side the manilla folders. A formal bow followed afterwards, though he took note that the seal wasn't to be broken. Once she was gone he turned to Artemis with a rather large s**t eating grin.
"We did it. Think we should use their academy quickly. Once we are done there we should head back to base camp to try to meet up with the others"
Oh man if there was ever a spring in his step now, as he headed off towards the academy.

Artemis didn't school her expression quickly enough to hide the shock at hearing what she knew had to be a child, but also a member of Kumogakure's ANBU. It was... well, it was shocking. She felt conflicted, worrying about child soldiers but also incredulous that someone so young had obtained such skill to be at a high rank. It left her wondering about village life, but she accepted the folder and scroll well enough and heeded the advise on not breaking the seal. She also smiled when the ANBU relayed Chokosabe's advice not to spend it all at once.
She turned to Atsuko as he mentioned being hasty. She supposed it was for the best. She could sight see another time. "You got it, boss," she teased.

People were interesting to Toya. No matter how hard he tried to comprehend their motives and actions he just couldn't bring himself to feel any sort of empathy. The boy was about to commit an act of espionage that could very well end up in his death, yet his mind was on other things. During his travels he was being confronted by a multitude of unique individuals. Toya only found it a shame that he couldn't keep some souvenirs on him. He wondered if Suna had begun digging through his things. That was truly a shame. Not being able to see the look on all of their faces.
The path towards the gates of Komogakure was a long one. Apparently they took their aesthetic very seriously and had their village quite literately hidden in the clouds. Better for Toya in any sense. Their view of him approaching the gates would be obscured by their own clouds. "I am no fool, however..." Toya mumbled to himself at the base of the steps towards the gates. He had to come up with a way to make it all the way up without getting noticed by the guards on the other side and go undetected by an sensors that might be able to see him through the clouds. Toya never had anyone with his bloodline to teach him anything. Everything he knew about his origami no mai was self taught. Some times this notion vexed him and made him wonder if he was missing out on potentially greater feats with his paper. In the palm of his right hand he would play around with a piece of paper idly. People passing by would pay no mind to him as he fiddled with his paper. Toya would flatten it repeatedly and observe it's properties. "We are all made of paper..." He mumbled to himself before grinning at his own realization.
With a discreet movement of hand seals the boy's body which was pale on it's own would become snow white. Layers of paper becoming visible on his skin as if they were peeling themselves off. Slowly his field of view would begin to change as well as his height shortened and he became as flat as a sheet of paper. Now Toya was a being that had lived his whole life in the three dimensional plane. Suddenly regressing to the two-dimensional plane would take some getting used too. Toya was well aware of this beforehand due to his understanding of physics. If the boy hadn't been born with the devil inside of himself he would've been a great addition to Sunagakure.
Beings in the second dimension can not go up or down therefore the steps in front of Toya would just look like a straight line. A straight line that would take an unbelievably long amount of time to traverse. Each step at a time with every surface every being covered one at a time. By the time the boy would make it to the gates he'd be utterly exhausted.
To his surprise and dismay what he found at the end was not in fact a literal gate of sorts, but a crevice that extended over a mile of distance and contained what seemed to be floating rocks in between. He had to come up with some idea. While in in his two dimensional plane, Toya would develop a seemingly simple plan. He'd descend the crevice using the wall walk technique as paper. Once he was significantly far into the crevice he would return to his normal three dimensional plane while stuck to the wall. Making the appropriate hand seals Toya would create a steady stream of wind with his Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu [ Wind Levitation ] jutsu. Almost instantly he would turn himself into a sheet a paper and let the wind blow him towards the other side of the crevice. [[exit]]

Elizabeth came walking toward the gate, taking the long path. She had on a small windbreaker, tied loosely around her shoulders, a travel bag under it on her back. She made no attempt to hide herself as she approached. She was visibly armed, a device at her hip, however her trademark dart rifle was back at her apartment.. though still within her reach in a pinch. She stopped at the gate and called a hail to the guards as the gates were closed currently.

While normally gate guard duty was a pain in the a** for anbu. They often saw it as something the newbie gennin and the occasional jounin could handle. But that was right about the time when Lord Chosokabe outright ordered them to maintain security, and so here they were.. Of the eight, two were in the guardhouse to the right, two were in the guardhouse to the left. Two more were stationed quite literally on the wall hidden with an active camouflaging ninjutsu, of the maruton variety. One, their sensor, was quite literally hiding in a hole in the ground on the village side of the gate under the road. While the captain, a man with a slightly unhappy kitsune mask, stood fully in the open on the village side of the gate. To his own right and left were two normal guards of the gennin variety. Though frankly, they were about as useful as breasts on a boar. However when the sensor picked up on a small ping he reported it to the captain who then ordered the gates be opened. To which they saw Liz, simply standing there. Walking forward, naked sword in hand. Grumpy kitsune spoke clearly and calmly,"Name, village, intent." Granted he wanted to ask her about the ping but right now he was focus'ing on getting as much information as he could out of the woman before he informed her that they had picked up on her.
She eyes the sword briefly, judging it's reach and sweeping her eyes over the area did a body count. She could see a few but undoubtedly some were hidden. It was a military facility after all. Town. Whatever the hell they called it . Two exits. Technically many but she classified them as two. Forward and backward. Forward was unacceptable under hostile circumstances. This case didn't call for violence and she hoped the regime changes would let her current opposition see that. It didn't help that the paper on the inside of her cloak itched against her skin. Made her uncomfortable. She dogged that particular emotion however and looked up at grumpy cat fox thing. "Alias Clockwork, I have no village and I'm here to do a couple of things. Resupply outside of a uhv controlled area, update my bingo book with your listed bounties and to see if anyone has any work here for those deemed expendable., and to sell information. For the right price. Possibly a good evenings rest ad well. " she said, adjusting the packs strap on her shoulder with care. .

Two impressive leaps is all it took before the twins were saluting the Anbu and dropping off their package. "Ada-kun! Hope everything went to plan. Good luck with the puppet!" They would ensure the girl made it in, and then go to... well go to work as it were.

__ Ada released the magnetic field from her sempai when they finally arrived at the gates of Kumogakure. The mountainous air was as refreshing as it was thin at such altitudes. She took a few steps toward the twins and then bowed her head thankfully toward them. "Thank you both. I hope to show them off to you after I practice for a while." She'd also reenter the village but probably at a much more calm pace. As promised, she briefly report back in to Shizuka then go find a place at the academy to train for awhile. Later she could look for her partner and see how things have been since they parted.

"WE ARE GOING TO MAKE NEW FARMLAND!" Jeon screamed at the top of her lungs as the duo buzzed past the guards at light speed, carrying seeds and their weapons, enoguh to get a whole new thing started.
