Hayate was charged with a life sentence in the prison for numerous counts of murder and theft.
Within the prison, Hayate met a captivating gypsy woman named Kimidori who was renowned in Gimagakure for traveling in a caravan, telling fortunes, and orchestrating scams resulting in theft. During visiting hours a child was conceived and Kimidori gave birth nine months later. Kimidori raised Kenshin within the prison as well as her caravan in an endless cycle of lawlessness and abuse. Kimidori was eventually locked up for good when Kenshin was six years old. Kenshin grew up in an abusive environment around prisoners, Kimidori's fellow gypsies, and various other unsavory characters. Kimidori and Hayate were neglectful of Kenshin and he had no one to turn to except the prison guards.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Kenshin was born in a prison in Gimangakure to convict parents with his father serving a life sentence and his mother in and out of parole/correctional for petty theft crimes. His father, Hayate Hyuga, was a respectable ninja from Kumogakure who achieved the rank of Jonin and completed a substantial amount of missions for the village. He was beloved by everyone in his village for his rebel charm and wit. Hayate was known by the village as the "lone survivor" because he completed five dangerous missions where he was the only squad member to return alive. On the fifth mission, his two best friends from his original Genin squad were brutally killed in front of him and Hayate was left alive.
His immense survivor's guilt overwhelmed him to the point where he ran from the village and became a rogue ninja. Hayate was then considered a dangerous deserter and hunted by the Oinin forces of Kumogakure. Hayate grew tired of being the hunted and sought the become the hunter by becoming a pirate in the Land of Water. Over the course of ten years, Hayate became the captain of the "Fierce Wind" ship and plundered greatly from the Land of Water. One day, he entered Gimagakure to sell the plunder and enjoy his wealth in a brothel before it was suddenly invaded by the local police and he was apprehended. Hayate was charged with a life sentence in the prison for numerous counts of murder and theft.
Within the prison, Hayate met a captivating gypsy woman named Kimidori who was renowned in Gimagakure for traveling in a caravan, telling fortunes, and orchestrating scams resulting in theft. During visiting hours a child was conceived and Kimidori gave birth nine months later. Kimidori raised Kenshin within the prison as well as her caravan in an endless cycle of lawlessness and abuse. Kimidori was eventually locked up for good when Kenshin was six years old. Kenshin grew up in an abusive environment around prisoners, Kimidori's fellow gypsies, and various other unsavory characters. Kimidori and Hayate were neglectful of Kenshin and he had no one to turn to except the prison guards.
The prison guards looked at Kenshin with apathy at best and disdain at worst, but Kenshin viewed them as heroes. With age, he grew to admire them and despise his family. At the age of ten, he would do anything to avoid the other prisoners by assisting the guards in chores like cleaning the cellars. Kenshin would salute and aid the guards at any opportunity and some of them grew to enjoy his dedication and company. By the age of twelve, he was allowed to sleep in the guard barracks and they taught him to read by showing him the legal codes of the prison. While the guards were strict and far from compassionate, Kenshin finally felt at least some sense of comfort and belonging. This created an even further rift between him and his parents and it mattered not to Kenshin.
When he turned fourteen he abandoned his family in the prison in the hopes of becoming a sentinel of shinobi. He went to seek out his father's family in Kumogakure and entered the village on their graces, but changed his last name from Arashi to Kosei just to shed the former identity. Kenshin quickly enrolled in the academy and worked incredibly hard against numerous obstacles, but ended up succeeding despite his many disadvantages in life. Law, order, justice, those were the codes of honor that he lived by. Now he seeks to become a great police officer, the shinobi sentinel.

In essence she doesn't want to rely on others, be a burden on others, or let others into her heart. All in all it's because she doesn't want to get hurt again like she was hurt in the past. Beyond her icy demeanor she wants to be treated like a princess. Pampered, adored, and given whatever she wants. In essence she wants to be showered with affection, respect, or power. None of this is more true than in regards to the person she has feelings for. From them she especially expects the royal treatment, anything less in unacceptable. However to those that show her loyalty she returns it in kind. For those that earn her trust, she will do anything for them.
Of course it's not that she doesn't like other people. Quite the contrary actually. Katsumi likes being surrounded by others and feeling she belongs. Indeed she feels very strongly about not imposing on them even though she wishes to be a princess. Sadly these impulses are often conflicting and can make it hard for her to make friends. As such she is used to it only being her and Nozuki.

At the age of eight she found Nozuki while the bat was still just a pup. For some reason she had been abandoned by the other bats and upon noting how the cute the little thing was a young Katsumi was quick to adopt it. Nursing it to health and watching it grow formed an unbreakable bond between the two. However trouble began about six years later. Having proven to be no ordinary vampire bat Nozuki had grown rather large and as such was becoming quite hard to feed. However at the age of fourteen Katsumi's bodyhad matured enough for her clan's super blood regeneration to kick in. Now she could feed Nozuki directly when food was scarce. However her clan found such behavior to be vile and disgusting. Soon those feelings turned toward hatred of the young girl as started to become beast like herself. The appearance of her fangs was the last straw.
The order for exile came down from the top and even the girl's parents obeyed. Katsumi and Nozuki were henceforth banished from the clan under threat of death. The decision was devastating to a young girl who didn't understand why her people hated her so much for having the bond she did. As it was the Land of Water was no longer safe for the two. So they began walking, hurt but together still. Afraid of what might happen if they ever bumped into their clan they dared not travel north and even the Land of fire felt too close to home. So they continued in their travels until the came to the land of wind. It was within this land that they finally came to find a new home. Nozuki is rather comfortable in the heat and while Katsumi detests the sun's prevalence the people were welcoming enough to the weary child and her partner. Soon they agreed to become members of Sunagakure and upon arrival in the village Katsumi was enrolled in the academy.

He was born with an abnormal amount of cognitive sense and awareness, which meant that he was aware of what went on around him before he could talk. His brother and sister had already become quite known for their ability, leading the family to wait for his natural talent to manifest. It didn't. They thought maybe it was a late bloomer issue, but he was steadily progressing with those in his class at a normal rate. He cared not for the standings his family wished to acquire. Figuring it would be taken care of by his responsible, adoring, endearing sister and calm, cool, collected brother. He was quite popular with the younger girls in the village along with many of their mothers and matured women. He figured it was due to the errands he did for compensation, but never realized he was quite... blessed for his age. He sported quite the physique, and would find himself bare chested or without pants when about the village. He was well endowed for such a youth. However his parents figured Ryōtō tried the least out of their children and sought to force out his potential. Cracking down on his free time outside of the academy and becoming much more stern with his behavior when dealing with other prominent families. But this only annoyed the boy enough to live by his lonesome, only occasionally returning home when needed. Once he achieve Genin, his parents soon mellowed out. This allowed him the freedom to move about without worrying those in his household.

Nindo: "Let justice be done though the heavens fall." Personality: Kenshin's two primary personality traits are a respect for authority and a hatred of rebellion. While these two features may be good on their own Kenshin takes them to such extreme lengths that they become almost evil. He is obsessed with upholding the law and punishing those who break it. Kenshin is a man of sterling moral character and honesty to the point where he would turn himself into the authorities if he broke the law. He is absolute and fanatical in his misguided and self-destructive pursuit of justice.
He lacks a sense of self-reflection because reflective thought through reading and intellectual pursuits are their own form of rebellion, which Kenshin shuts out. In addition to a lack of self-awareness and exploration, he lives an entirely solitude and chaste existence with no amusement. His only vice is the occasional cigarette, almost to remind others that he is human. His main form of joy in life is exacting justice and performing his duties which he is meticulous about. He is incredibly focused on his profession as a law enforcer in order to atone for what is missing in himself.
His entire existence consists of walking and watching, he is the sentinel, the watchman, the guardian, and the executor of justice. His moral foundation is based upon legalism, the law is his source of moral distinction. In addition to this, he is also a deeply religious man which is a piece of his complex need for authority. He is fiercely loyal to Kumogakure and the Raikage and will carry out any order to its full conclusion. He would take his own life if the Raikage ordered it.
Since he was born inside of a prison to convict parents he has an inferiority complex because he was born outside of the social order of a village. Since he was brought into the world as an outsider he saw only two ways of dealing with society and that was either by attacking it and guarding it, he chose to guard it with his life. It is because of all of these factors that he is as incredibly hardened as he is. He is incapable of love and companionship in any form because of his harsh upbringing. Kenshin's characteristic hot temper, rage, and wrath are a product of his past that he chooses not to deal with therapeutically. He is also incredibly self-aggrandizing as he refers to himself as the Shinobi Sentinel and in the third person in general.
He is a completely orthodox juggernaut of the law who will never rest until justice is served. Life Goals: Become a police ANBU, the ANBU captain, K.P.D. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Kenshin was born in a prison in Gimangakure to convict parents with his father serving a life sentence and his mother in and out of parole/correctional for petty theft crimes. His father, Hayate Hyuga, was a respectable ninja from Kumogakure who achieved the rank of Jonin and completed a substantial amount of missions for the village. He was beloved by everyone in his village for his rebel charm and wit. Hayate was known by the village as the "lone survivor" because he completed five dangerous missions where he was the only squad member to return alive. On the fifth mission, his two best friends from his original Genin squad were brutally killed in front of him and Hayate was left alive.
His immense survivor's guilt overwhelmed him to the point where he ran from the village and became a rogue ninja. Hayate was then considered a dangerous deserter and hunted by the Oinin forces of Kumogakure. Hayate grew tired of being the hunted and sought the become the hunter by becoming a pirate in the Land of Water. Over the course of ten years, Hayate became the captain of the "Fierce Wind" ship and plundered greatly from the Land of Water. One day, he entered Gimagakure to sell the plunder and enjoy his wealth in a brothel before it was suddenly invaded by the local police and he was apprehended. Hayate was charged with a life sentence in the prison for numerous counts of murder and theft.
Within the prison, Hayate met a captivating gypsy woman named Kimidori who was renowned in Gimagakure for traveling in a caravan, telling fortunes, and orchestrating scams resulting in theft. During visiting hours a child was conceived and Kimidori gave birth nine months later. Kimidori raised Kenshin within the prison as well as her caravan in an endless cycle of lawlessness and abuse. Kimidori was eventually locked up for good when Kenshin was six years old. Kenshin grew up in an abusive environment around prisoners, Kimidori's fellow gypsies, and various other unsavory characters. Kimidori and Hayate were neglectful of Kenshin and he had no one to turn to except the prison guards.
The prison guards looked at Kenshin with apathy at best and disdain at worst, but Kenshin viewed them as heroes. With age, he grew to admire them and despise his family. At the age of ten, he would do anything to avoid the other prisoners by assisting the guards in chores like cleaning the cellars. Kenshin would salute and aid the guards at any opportunity and some of them grew to enjoy his dedication and company. By the age of twelve, he was allowed to sleep in the guard barracks and they taught him to read by showing him the legal codes of the prison. While the guards were strict and far from compassionate, Kenshin finally felt at least some sense of comfort and belonging. This created an even further rift between him and his parents and it mattered not to Kenshin.
When he turned fourteen he abandoned his family in the prison in the hopes of becoming a sentinel of shinobi. He went to seek out his father's family in Kumogakure and entered the village on their graces, but changed his last name from Arashi to Kosei just to shed the former identity. Kenshin quickly enrolled in the academy and worked incredibly hard against numerous obstacles, but ended up succeeding despite his many disadvantages in life. Law, order, justice, those were the codes of honor that he lived by. Now he seeks to become a great police officer, the shinobi sentinel.

In essence she doesn't want to rely on others, be a burden on others, or let others into her heart. All in all it's because she doesn't want to get hurt again like she was hurt in the past. Beyond her icy demeanor she wants to be treated like a princess. Pampered, adored, and given whatever she wants. In essence she wants to be showered with affection, respect, or power. None of this is more true than in regards to the person she has feelings for. From them she especially expects the royal treatment, anything less in unacceptable. However to those that show her loyalty she returns it in kind. For those that earn her trust, she will do anything for them.
Of course it's not that she doesn't like other people. Quite the contrary actually. Katsumi likes being surrounded by others and feeling she belongs. Indeed she feels very strongly about not imposing on them even though she wishes to be a princess. Sadly these impulses are often conflicting and can make it hard for her to make friends. As such she is used to it only being her and Nozuki.

At the age of eight she found Nozuki while the bat was still just a pup. For some reason she had been abandoned by the other bats and upon noting how the cute the little thing was a young Katsumi was quick to adopt it. Nursing it to health and watching it grow formed an unbreakable bond between the two. However trouble began about six years later. Having proven to be no ordinary vampire bat Nozuki had grown rather large and as such was becoming quite hard to feed. However at the age of fourteen Katsumi's bodyhad matured enough for her clan's super blood regeneration to kick in. Now she could feed Nozuki directly when food was scarce. However her clan found such behavior to be vile and disgusting. Soon those feelings turned toward hatred of the young girl as started to become beast like herself. The appearance of her fangs was the last straw.
The order for exile came down from the top and even the girl's parents obeyed. Katsumi and Nozuki were henceforth banished from the clan under threat of death. The decision was devastating to a young girl who didn't understand why her people hated her so much for having the bond she did. As it was the Land of Water was no longer safe for the two. So they began walking, hurt but together still. Afraid of what might happen if they ever bumped into their clan they dared not travel north and even the Land of fire felt too close to home. So they continued in their travels until the came to the land of wind. It was within this land that they finally came to find a new home. Nozuki is rather comfortable in the heat and while Katsumi detests the sun's prevalence the people were welcoming enough to the weary child and her partner. Soon they agreed to become members of Sunagakure and upon arrival in the village Katsumi was enrolled in the academy.

He was born with an abnormal amount of cognitive sense and awareness, which meant that he was aware of what went on around him before he could talk. His brother and sister had already become quite known for their ability, leading the family to wait for his natural talent to manifest. It didn't. They thought maybe it was a late bloomer issue, but he was steadily progressing with those in his class at a normal rate. He cared not for the standings his family wished to acquire. Figuring it would be taken care of by his responsible, adoring, endearing sister and calm, cool, collected brother. He was quite popular with the younger girls in the village along with many of their mothers and matured women. He figured it was due to the errands he did for compensation, but never realized he was quite... blessed for his age. He sported quite the physique, and would find himself bare chested or without pants when about the village. He was well endowed for such a youth. However his parents figured Ryōtō tried the least out of their children and sought to force out his potential. Cracking down on his free time outside of the academy and becoming much more stern with his behavior when dealing with other prominent families. But this only annoyed the boy enough to live by his lonesome, only occasionally returning home when needed. Once he achieve Genin, his parents soon mellowed out. This allowed him the freedom to move about without worrying those in his household.

Nindo: "....." Personality: Compared to most people, Akaoni has a fairly odd view of the world from others that she's cobbled together for herself. After a raising composed of the many heroes and tales of the shinobi world, along with a healthy dosage of adopting the religion of her parents, she shares the belief that a person comes into the world for the sole purpose of helping others as opposed to themselves. It can only be through a close knit community of people that any single individual may flourish in their abilities. The child does seek out to help others, but not for any kind of monetary or significant gain. Under normal circumstances, Akaoni is humble, straightforward and patient with almost any kind of person, the exception being people who do not take their lives or jobs seriously. She views this kind of behavior as taking advantage of the gift that your ancestors bestowed upon you, and the highest form of failure. Without a purpose, a life is just simply wasted time.

With each member of the family taking a vow for life, the child took her own vow of silence, centering her belief around the actions that one takes had more of an effect than their words. While at the dismay of her parents for taking such a punishment upon herself, they did their best to accommodate their daughter's wish. It was quite difficult at first, but as she grew, Akaoni eventually found a stable hold on navigating through life without speaking. She grew up idolizing the shinobi that made up Kumogakure and begged her parents to allow her to attend the academy when she was old enough. After numerous promises to speak of it when the time came, Akaoni was accepted after a length discussion. There, she remained a studious youth, wanting to do her village proud when she was able to become a full fledged kunoichi. Eventually that time came, and the young Uzimaki had flourished into a young adult, ready to face the trials ahead.

Nindo: "Let justice be done though the heavens fall." Personality: Kenshin's two primary personality traits are a respect for authority and a hatred of rebellion. While these two features may be good on their own Kenshin takes them to such extreme lengths that they become almost evil. He is obsessed with upholding the law and punishing those who break it. Kenshin is a man of sterling moral character and honesty to the point where he would turn himself into the authorities if he broke the law. He is absolute and fanatical in his misguided and self-destructive pursuit of justice.
He lacks a sense of self-reflection because reflective thought through reading and intellectual pursuits are their own form of rebellion, which Kenshin shuts out. In addition to a lack of self-awareness and exploration, he lives an entirely solitude and chaste existence with no amusement. His only vice is the occasional cigarette, almost to remind others that he is human. His main form of joy in life is exacting justice and performing his duties which he is meticulous about. He is incredibly focused on his profession as a law enforcer in order to atone for what is missing in himself.
His entire existence consists of walking and watching, he is the sentinel, the watchman, the guardian, and the executor of justice. His moral foundation is based upon legalism, the law is his source of moral distinction. In addition to this, he is also a deeply religious man which is a piece of his complex need for authority. He is fiercely loyal to Kumogakure and the Raikage and will carry out any order to its full conclusion. He would take his own life if the Raikage ordered it.
Since he was born inside of a prison to convict parents he has an inferiority complex because he was born outside of the social order of a village. Since he was brought into the world as an outsider he saw only two ways of dealing with society and that was either by attacking it and guarding it, he chose to guard it with his life. It is because of all of these factors that he is as incredibly hardened as he is. He is incapable of love and companionship in any form because of his harsh upbringing. Kenshin's characteristic hot temper, rage, and wrath are a product of his past that he chooses not to deal with therapeutically.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Kenshin was born in a prison in Gimangakure to convict parents with his father serving a life sentence and his mother in and out of parole/correctional for petty theft crimes. His father, Hayate Hyuga, was a respectable ninja from Kumogakure who achieved the rank of Jonin and completed a substantial amount of missions for the village. He was beloved by everyone in his village for his rebel charm and wit. Hayate was known by the village as the "lone survivor" because he completed five dangerous missions where he was the only squad member to return alive. On the fifth mission, his two best friends from his original Genin squad were brutally killed in front of him and Hayate was left alive.
His immense survivor's guilt overwhelmed him to the point where he ran from the village and became a rogue ninja. Hayate was then considered a dangerous deserter and hunted by the Oinin forces of Kumogakure. Hayate grew tired of being the hunted and sought the become the hunter by becoming a pirate in the Land of Water. Over the course of ten years, Hayate became the captain of the "Fierce Wind" ship and plundered greatly from the Land of Water. One day, he entered Gimagakure to sell the plunder and enjoy his wealth in a brothel before it was suddenly invaded by the local police and he was apprehended. Hayate was charged with a life sentence in the prison for numerous counts of murder and theft.
Within the prison, Hayate met a captivating gypsy woman named Kimidori who was renowned in Gimagakure for traveling in a caravan, telling fortunes, and orchestrating scams resulting in theft. During visiting hours a child was conceived and Kimidori gave birth nine months later. Kimidori raised Kenshin within the prison as well as her caravan in an endless cycle of lawlessness and abuse. Kimidori was eventually locked up for good when Kenshin was six years old. Kenshin grew up in an abusive environment around prisoners, Kimidori's fellow gypsies, and various other unsavory characters. Kimidori and Hayate were neglectful of Kenshin and he had no one to turn to except the prison guards.
The prison guards looked at Kenshin with apathy at best and disdain at worst, but Kenshin viewed them as heroes. With age, he grew to admire them and despise his family. At the age of ten, he would do anything to avoid the other prisoners by assisting the guards in chores like cleaning the cellars. Kenshin would salute and aid the guards at any opportunity and some of them grew to enjoy his dedication and company. By the age of twelve, he was allowed to sleep in the guard barracks and they taught him to read by showing him the legal codes of the prison. While the guards were strict and far from compassionate, Kenshin finally felt at least some sense of comfort and belonging. This created an even further rift between him and his parents and it mattered not to Kenshin.
When he turned fourteen he abandoned his family in the prison in the hopes of becoming a sentinel of shinobi. He went to seek out his father's family in Kumogakure and entered the village on their graces, but changed his last name from Arashi to Kosei just to shed the former identity. Kenshin quickly enrolled in the academy and worked incredibly hard against numerous obstacles, but ended up succeeding despite his many disadvantages in life. Law, order, justice, those were the codes of honor that he lived by. Now he seeks to become a great police officer, the shinobi sentinel.

He was born with an abnormal amount of cognitive sense and awareness, which meant that he was aware of what went on around him before he could talk. His brother and sister had already become quite known for their ability, leading the family to wait for his natural talent to manifest. It didn't. They thought maybe it was a late bloomer issue, but he was steadily progressing with those in his class at a normal rate. He cared not for the standings his family wished to acquire. Figuring it would be taken care of by his responsible, adoring, endearing sister and calm, cool, collected brother. He was quite popular with the younger girls in the village along with many of their mothers and matured women. He figured it was due to the errands he did for compensation, but never realized he was quite... blessed for his age. He sported quite the physique, and would find himself bare chested or without pants when about the village. He was well endowed for such a youth. However his parents figured Ryōtō tried the least out of their children and sought to force out his potential. Cracking down on his free time outside of the academy and becoming much more stern with his behavior when dealing with other prominent families. But this only annoyed the boy enough to live by his lonesome, only occasionally returning home when needed. Once he achieve Genin, his parents soon mellowed out. This allowed him the freedom to move about without worrying those in his household.

As someone who is intrigued by the unknown, she is also well interested in knowledge and information no matter how mundane or useless it may seem - for it is that knowledge that keeps history going. She's always interested in the stories of scholars, minstrels and even a religious devout, always seeking to learn new tales of the world and other views opposite of her own. With others she's not afraid to ask another person what they may have seen or heard, be it rumor or an elaborate tale to factual knowledge and topics worthy of study. She is a proud woman and is not afraid to admit as such, yet this often cuts both ways - not always in the right ways. Yet, when she uses her Kekkei Genkai to influence it, it acts as a medium for her Emotives and follows the PA: Enchanting Aura. Her chakra visibly ebbs and flows with her usual movement when she chooses to create a visual flair with a translucent trail flowing with her shifting between blue, red, violet and pink. The history of Ayame is one with the Araki family, a once apart of the Raigyo clan from the Tea Country. The Araki name instead has settled and has more roots in the Land of Fire than it does the home country of the bloodline. Few in the family have the lineage, often it skipping a generation as it had with Ayame's parents while her power awakened with its fullest. A family of medics, merchants and craftsmen, the Araki are a peculiar mix of all walks of life for the civilian while few become shinobi -- usually those who have the kekkei genkai in their blood. Much of the family were botanists and religious devouts with the minority actually trained soldiers and shinobi.
Ayame had lived an austere lifestyle for much of her childhood all the way up to her early admission to the academy to become a full fledged genin. She recieved the basic classes for education, tactics and ninjutsu arts while later in the years she learned more specialized knowledge such as illusionary arts, her bloodline and basic swordsmanship. After graduation from the academy, Ayame had gone on her way to become an official genin of the Leaf Village.

Nindo:Will discover in role play. Personality: Despite not being considered 'Samurai' among her fellow countrymen and family, Tsubame follows the tenets of Bushido with a passion. In this way, she considers herself to be one of them, but internally seeks some way to be recognized as such. She's very committed to this goal, even though it may be nothing more than a mere fairy-tale for a female -- in her family's view, at least. While fiercely devoted to her cause, she's generally a kind and gentle person. Empathizing with others is a natural skill of hers, that has lead to a very compassionate attitude towards people. Tsubame's devotion to the weapon enables her to use it just as skillfully with other weapon styles she learns (within reason - a Naginata cannot be used to the same effectiveness as Nunchaku or Fans), and being treated as the weapon in question in regards to the style being used.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ The Ashikaga family resides in the Iron Country; a small noble family noted for their respectable Samurai that hail from the lineage. They take pride in their Samurai, training them at a very young age - many of them becoming royal guards or serving in the Shogun's personal army. Tsubame is the youngest of three, growing up with two older brothers who were learning to wield a sword a soon as they were able to walk, fulfilling their destinies as powerful Ashikaga Samurai. Females in the family were forbidden to become Samurai, instead tending to political affairs, specializing in medicine, and aiding their families greatest warriors. Some learned to craft, leading to a lot of the family's possessions being one of a kind, including weapons and armor. The more beautiful ones, were often prepped for marriage. Tsubame was pre-engaged by her parents in her early teens, however, was more intrigued by the Samurai lifestyle to even give it a second thought. Nor was she interested in the idea. A lot of her training was self-taught, watching her brothers and father in silence, with some further encouragement from her beloved elder brother before his deployment. Her skills were great 'for a woman', but were not even remotely acknowledged in the eyes of her father. In fact, it pushed him to encourage an early marriage ceremony with her soon-to-be husband's family in hopes of Tsubame finally committing to her supposed role. Seeing this as a potential threat to her biggest dream, Tsubame fled, leaving the country undetected by a merchant's carriage, that brought her into the Village of Artisans, Takumi.
