 She flopped down, her paws weren't tired but her hind leg was throbbing in pain, it was screaming at her and causing her a great deal of pain. So, instead of traveling during the night, she was stopping to rest, she licked at her back leg lightly, she didnt know what to do to make it hurt less. She wasn't sure where she was at the moment, she wasn't sure when she'd gotten lost either she thought with a sigh and a shake of her head, well she could find her way in the daylight, it would be much easier. The young adult maned wolf, shifted her gaze around as she wondered how safe she was.

 layla was unaware anything at the moment. she was being happy go lucky and humming a little tone to herself as she took a walk. things for her were going just great for her as nothing bad had pledged her at all. tail swishing about as she went along humming, she didn't realize she was going to have a run in with a manned wolf

The humming caught her attention, her ears perked as she looked around, she could barely sit up now, her leg ached so greatly.
"Whose there?" she called out, she liked almost everyone she ran into, but leopards, specially male ones made her a tad nervous, with a shifty glance at her back leg, she felt it wasnt unwarrented.

Layla stopped humming and her ears perked up at the sound of a voice. grinning, she went straight over to the source of the voice. " Layla and i'm not gonna do anything mean or anything." stopping with some distance between them, she smiled at the manned wolf. "who are you?" being the absent minded and not so smart type, she didn't realize the other was in pain.

She relaxed quiet a bit once she saw the lioness, and upon hearing that she wasnt in any danger, she let out a soft sigh.
"I'm Nayeli." She said with a soft bow of her head, she knew better than to disrespect a larger predator, it never did any good though to be disrespectful to anyone.

Layla came closer and had a soft smile on her face. "its nice meeting you Nayeli!" she always was happy to meet someone new and that was beyond obvious at the moment. sitting in front of Nayeli, she tilted her head. " are you always alone like this?" it was a random question that popped into her head and felt the need to ask it.

"I like to travel, been trying to find more of my own kind." She was happy to meet another happy to go personality. She thumped her tail in happiness.
"Why are you out here alone?" generally she found females settled down with..someone during the night.

Layla decided to lay down and put her head on top her paws. " i bet traveling is fun! i do hope you end up finding your own kind. it would be so sad if you don't." she never thought about why she ever went walking on her own. maybe next time she would have to get Pembe to come with her. "i guess i just wanted to go for a walk."

She nodded her head, "Yeah, it would be really sad never to find another maned wolf.." she didnt want to think about, but she hadn't run into another in all of her travels so far.
It was rather sad to think about.
"Well, thats a good enough reason for me..once these paws get an itch to move, we move." She said with a half laugh.

" i just know you will find more maned wolves!" Layla grinned and now really hoped beyond hoped that her new friend found what she was looking for. " yeah, i tend to wander whenever to where ever my paws take me." giggling, she was defiantly carefree and a happy go lucky lioness.

She liked this lioness, if she were a lion she figured she'd be a great deal like her. "Thats what I do, and I enjoy it. I like meeting others..." She shifted a glance at her leg. "For the most part its been a wonderful adventure." She said with a grin.
"Ive plenty of stories to share with others, and hopefully tell my own pups one day..if I can ever find someone to have pups with." She said with a laugh.

" i absolutely love meeting others! its so fun to meet others and hear their stories or just gain a new friend!" layla defiantly was having a great time with Nayeli. it was refreshing for her to have someone nice to be around after the whole thing with the cheetah who seemed to think she was some weirdo. "i bet you got some fun stories to tell them when you do have pups someday."

She nodded her head, her tail was thumping wildly now with happiness, "Ive gained some very wonderful friends, though everyone is much bigger than I am." She said with a laugh.
"Im not finding to many smaller creatures to befriend..which is weird. Must see me with all you big guys and run away." She giggled at the thought.

" its awesome having great friends around." Layla giggled and then gave a grin. "i bet its weird having others so much bigger than you. your the first who has been so much smaller than i am." she had a laugh at the next comment that was made. " i can't blame the really small creatures being scare of someone massively bigger. i know i would be scared of someone way bigger than me."
