hey everyone! i was looking for some avi art for my avatar and was wondering if anyone knew a good artist (preffably someone who didn't cost an arm and a leg).
neat! thanks! i was thinking about going to the art forum. but whenever i venture that way, it seems that the shops are way over priced, fully booked, or the artist just isn't that good. makes me a bit sad actually

I'm not that good myself, but if I do get around to drawing it, at least it'll be free! XD I always thought of opening an art shop, but then I was like "I'm too picky, and I hardly ever finish..." so I just decided not to bother.
i'm just not patient enough to do art properly. for some reason, i was under the misguided impression that true artists can whip out pictures within an hour or so. but i found out with the gaia art walk that each picture, even with minimal coloring, takes multiple hours, and each figure has to start with a base (not just starting with the final figure outline). it would probably explain why whenever i drew something, not only did the same characters never look alike, but it was never at a "good" quality.
