No matter how many times he walked down here, among the waving grasses and rolling plains, the wild dog could never fully acustom himself to it. It was so strange, the grassy expanse with no sharp drops or rocky slopes. So far below the sky, and yet it almost seemed close enough to touch if he could just reach that horizon. It was so different down here, intriguing and curious, it kept his attention and tugged at the edges of his thoughts whilst he was up in the mountains of his home, just as the mountains and his pack were always flittering at the edges of his thoughts. No matter where he wandered, or how far he roamed, always, always, his paws carried him home.

But home was hurting now. And so he was wandering again, this time with more purpose than satisfying that itch that started in his paws. New blood, new life, to make what was broken whole again. But not everyone was cut out for that kind of life, and he would never dream of bringing someone...unstable back with him. Or someone unwilling. There was enough unhappieness in the pack now, following the recent events. No need to add more to it from the outside as well.

Aheero paused, his soft green eyes sharp with interest as he looked about himself. He could see so far... it never failed to fastinate him.

User Image Isabis had spent her early morning relaxing and enjoying the sun as it warmed up the earth. Letting out a sigh of contentment, she used her bright pink tail to swat at a the few bugs that flew by her. Suddenly, a strong cool breeze hit her cause a light shiver to go throughout her body. ' Hm, thank god for the sun and its warm.' It would seem the winter months would be upon this earth in the near future.

Isabis took in her land, from high up on her stone lip of her home-cave. It was somewhat bare to other creatures views but sometimes you had to make the best of things. If not, there is always the option of moving on but Isabis liked to try things out before judging or giving up. Starting off her day she began to clean her paws and let her thoughts drift on what to eat for her morning meal.

A shiver of cool wind ran through his fur, and the dog's nose twitched at the scent. Another was here? Aheero closed his eyes and sniffed, inhaling to clarify even as the cold breeze shifted. Well, this would be interesting. Meeting strangers always was, their beliefs and opinions were always so very different. But one thing always remained the same. People were people wherever he went.

"Good morning," the ranger called out in soft greeting, circling to come from beside her rather than behind. No need to startle her after all.

The sudden noise of a voice distracted her from her morning cleaning, she did not notice the upcoming male. Fur bristling from the shock and danger, she looked to her left and up to find a blue furred male standing next to her few feet a way. He seemed friendly enough but still one had to be caution, especially around a male. " Hello," Isabis replied while standing slowly and cautiously. " I have not seen a stranger in these parts in sometime. What brings you here stranger?" She waited for his reply as she took in his appearance more calmly.

Aheero stopped where he was when he caught her fur bristling. So he had startled her. That had not been his intent, he'd no desire to upset a stranger, no reason to bother her or frighten her either. The flatlands, the rogue lands, could be frightening enough. He saw no need to add to that himself.

"My paws bring me here," he explained, though that probably didn't seem like much of an explination really. "My name is Aheero. I hope I am not intruding?"

She almost giggled at his answer, it was cute yet so obvious in answer. " I see, it is nice to meet you Aheero. My name is Isabis and no you are not intruding. I was just off on my morning hunt." She peered at the other as if having an internal debat with herself, when she finally nodded coming to a decision. " Would you care to join me? Two is better than one in a hunt, means we can take down something larger in size. Therefore having a better meal." She sat down and looked at the other, waiting for the answer.

User Image It had been a long day for Kiros but heck it could have been a lot worse if had stuck around. Those poor cheetahs. Kiros winced at what he had witnessed from the tree tops, it involved a pissed off beast with horns and cheetah as the targets. To think... if he had played with them... he would be covered in bruises and limping too. Some animals had no survival instincts. Kiros shook his head slightly as he jumped from tree to tree.

It just so happened as he looked down he spotted two wild dogs. One was smaller than the other. "To visit or not to visit that is the question... ah why not." Shrugging he jumped and landed with a thump on the ground. When he looked up from landing perfectly on his feet there was only the red small one left. "'ullo there~!"

Isabis blinked in shock and in fright as some unknown creature landing not a few feet infront of her body. "GAW!" She yelped and jumped back not being able to stop herself from reacting. "Wha-Where-who-" She was so flustered and froze at the sight of a male leopard. They could get deadly if provoked. "H-hello." She cautiously spoke in kind to his greeting hoping not to anger the unknown male. Isabis looked out of the corner of her eye to see if her other companion was about..which he wasn't. Suddenly I am not as hungry as I once was.. "What..what brings you about?" She finally asked, it couldn't hurt to have some manners and bravery.

Kiros was amused by how the, now identified, female wild dog was acting. He prowled closer with a flick of his tail. "Oh this and that, nothing too exciting." He grinned unknowningly baring his fangs. "I'm Kiros by the way. It looks pretty quiet 'round here--oh butterfly!" He pounced to attack his foe which of course was missed. He watched as it flew away up into the sky. "Aw drat. I hate when that happens." He turned back to see the wiry look be replaced by an amused slightly alarmed look on the wild dogs face. Good he liked throwing others off, kept them on their toes~ He sat down gracefully and reached out a paw to scratch his chest absent-mindedly. "I rarely see wild dogs about especially alone. Nice tail by the way." He was distracted again by something else that caught his eye, it sometime was a curse to have this A.D.D. symptom of his. "Oooh, sorry to jump in scare and run but--" He used his muscles to push himself up onto the branch. "I see something with my name on it."

Isabis was very bewildered not only by the fact that the leopard was clearly... something she couldn't even come up with anything. Out of his mind, she thought to herself. "You have a nice name Kiro-" He interrupted her by pouncing on the nearest tree branch and then as quick as he came he began to leave as quickly. "What the heck.. that is very rude to introduce ones self and leave just as quickly!" She was kinda outraged about the abruptness of their conversation and her words had stopped him in the action of disappearing. Her stomach growled it's unhappiness which in turn reminded her of the food she had planned on hunting for earlier on in the day.

Green eyes widen slightly at the pissed off tone coming from the female canine. A canine that was so much smaller than him. "Um, look I meant no..." His eyes narrowed. "Disrespect or anything I was just passing through and saw you. Didn't know if you felt comfortable enough to be around the likes of me. I don't normally get the warm welcome when it comes to your kind."

Isabis almost huffed but rained the sound in. "Well, you never know unless you make an attempt-" She would have said more but her stomach made itself know. Loudly.

Kiros felt his fur bristle a little, it was time to leave. He didn't want to cause a meaningless fight over something so...silly. "I seem to have interrupted a meal." He stared down blankly trying to cover up with amusement. This little lady had sass and he liked it. "I will take my leave now. That okay dudette?"

She shook her head and rolled her eyes at what had occurred. "I guess I will get that food now." She watched as the beautifully coloured leopard disappear from sight. With a flick her pink tail Isabis turned around and retraced her steps hoping to come across something editable. "Bye."

He was almost tempted to stay and bug-um chat with the female canine but his attention span was slowly becoming pushed into another direction. One that involved running or leaping or ooh possible mountain climbing! Yeah that sound like a great idea to pass the time! "Well, I'm gone!" He looked around and found the other was making their way further up the path. He clearly had been distracted and missed the 'goodbye' that slipped out of Isabis muzzle. "Ah well... Off to explore the territory!!" He crowed with happiness and then leaped onto the nearest branch. He left the clearing with a "This will be fun..." before disappearing into the leaves.

END.
