A simple little office with a desk for both Captain and Lieutenant. When Yuka isn't in the Editing Department she can normally be found here going over the newest articles.

To say that for destruction ice Yuka Hana Captain of Squad 9 Yuka sighed as she walked into her office and plopped down on the couch in the corner. Her energy from working in the Editing Department all day was fading and she was beginning to return to her usual demeanor. She glanced over at her desk and saw the paperwork was gone. She chuckled softly "I boss them around all day and they're still too good to me." She leaned back into the couch and closed her eyes lightly, dozing for a moment. Is also great,

Raine appeared in front of the Squad 9 Division's Office. He had always had a bit of a keen interest in what it was like in the daily life of a 9th Division officer, but he disregarded the topic for later and stepped towards the door that led to the Captain's Office, as it was so labeled on the door.

To say that for destruction ice Yuka Hana Captain of Squad 9 "Hm?" Yuka opened her eyes and got to her feet, walking to open the door. She looked up calmly at Raine and smiled "Hello? What brings you here Captain?" she asked curiously. It didn't take her long to piece together the rumors of Seireitei and understand that the shinigami before her was the Captain of the 8th. You picked up things quickly when you worked for a newspaper of sorts. Is also great,

"Well then, I am Yuka Hana, Captain of Squad 9 and Head of the Seireitei Monthly. I am glad to meet you Raine Shiba, Captain of Squad 8 and Head of the Noble House of Shiba." she stepped aside and gestured for him to enter. "Would you like some tea?" Is also great,

Raine's eyes widened... "You seem to know us very well, despite the fact you have never met me before..." He his grin remained, unmoved as he continued to speak..."It is nice meeting you too Captain Yuka Hana, and I would be more than honored to have some tea... Thank you." He stepped inside accordingly standing next to the table and waiting for Yuka to seat herself...Captain Raine Shiba

Her voice called out calmly from the room "You're quite welcome. And as for knowing you..." she came out with a tea tray that she set down on the table before sitting down herself to pour the tea. She held out a cup to him with a smile "You learn to pick up on rumors when you have work like mine." Is also great,

Raine chuckled. This Captain was a smart one, and seemed to know what she was doing. He kindly accepted the tea from her, taking a small gulp of the tea, and smelling the soft scent that wafted into his nose before setting ti back down on the table...
"Well then, I only wish I could say the same... I seem to be fairly misinformed about everyone 'round here... Did you hear about the recent vizard and hollow attack?" Captain Raine Shiba

We were working on it all morning once we gathered all the information and first hand accounts." She looked at him thoughtfully "Yourself and Captain Nelliel were there fighting against the Vizard, and then the General himself came to rescue her." Is also great,

"Indeed, that is how it happened..." Raine frowned... "It appears he wanted to use her as some sort of test subject, to examine each and every one of the captain's powers and abilities... which is the only reason I chose not to resort to bankai... The only reason I limited my attacks... I am sure Nel was doing the same..." Raine's mind wandered off as he continued to gaze out of the small window... "She was a powerful one... but still young... she needs work... and I do believe she will not come back with as little power as she possessed earlier... I am sure she will have gained immense amounts of power by then, which is why all captains need to be on their toes..." Captain Raine Shiba

Raine looks back to Yuka, smiling and nodding as he took a quick sip of his tea, placing it back down as it clicked against the saucer..."Good..." He began. "On another note, I cannot wait for the New Year to arrive. It gives me reason to calm myself, enjoy life, and throw grand parties. At times like these, we could use such events..." She looked up as a paper slid under the door and climbed to her feet to pick it up. She sat down again at the table, mumbling the words to herself. "Well now isn't this curious?" she laughed, holding out the paper to Raine "A restaurant for Shinigami in the World of the Living? I may have to see it for a report in the Seireitei Monthly."
