magnum is halo 3 strength but has a scope again.
plasma pistol is godly. choose this weapon over any other if you have a rapid fire trigger finger.
plasma repeater hits faster, has a longer range, and its shot doesn't start spraying like the plasma rifles does. the downside is its weaker. if your in a close combat level go for the plasma rifle over the repeater. but in any other situation I usually go for the repeater.
focus rifle is the sentinel beams. (they just couldn't include the sentinel beams due to the fact that the monitors weren't in this game.
shotgun is halo 1 strength. nuff said.
battle rifle was replaced by the designated marksmen. which is a good gun but I still prefer battle rifle. when you see this weapon think "human version of covenant carbine"
Rockets are heat seeking again. but as far as I know this only applies to in-game not online.
a full list of great weapons you could use. Trust me when I say the jackals ( if your a casual halo player you probably know them as the "shield guy's") in this game actually jump in front of the elites to protect them from your fire with their shields. (its especially a pain in the a** when the only guns laying on the ground from the previous battle are needle weapons.
use the plasma pistol and charge it up to take down their shields then rapid fire them to death. do the same with the elites.
game-play is beautiful. think halo 1 wide open spaces but with odst graphics and you get halo reach.
