 Having grown and spent a good time sparing with her mother, Alam was already proving to have the pulse of fight and fire within her that was said to live in only the true firekin, she was cocky with that pride.
With a stretch, she rose to her paws, she was in a good mood. She'd just finished a lesson with her mother, and had done very well, she smiled as she padded around the pride, just wandering here and there.
She was a happy little juve cub, she was enjoying her day.

 Huojin was now a bit older and not as small as he had been as a cub. he was a growing juvi and he was enjoying becoming strong as he got older. he loved his daily training, even if it made him tired. giving a big yawn as he decided to do a bit of exploring. he didn't realize he would be meeting up with the one female he wanted to avoid.

Padding along quiet happily in her own word, she paused to chat with another female before she noticed a certain male wandering by.
Quickly, but polietly ending her current coversation, she dashed towards him with a smirk. She wondered how he'd gotten away from his mommy this time. "Hey..Jerkface!" she called out, not that she knew his name.

Huojin just rolled his eyes before turning and growling a little. " the name is Huojin. not jerkface, so don't call me that." tail lashing about, he couldn't believe she could manage to piss him off so easy. "do you always call others jurkface or am i just that special?" being sarcastic, he sat down and curled his tail around his legs. he sure as hell didn't care at the moment if he appeared mean or arrogant to her.

Her eyes rolled as she shook her head, "Your just that special.." She sneered with a shrug of her shoulders before she tilted her head. "Lazy boy..get up." She prodded him with a paw, the excitement of a training lesson still pumped in her veins, and she danced with it.

Huojin purposely turned his head away from her and stuck his nose to the air. though her prodding him with her paw did get him to turn and snap at it playfully. " i'm not lazy. so unless you wanna find out just how unlazy i am, don't push me." growling, he was not one to tolerate being insulted and wasn't above showing her who is boss. " what you want anyways Alma." sneering, he purposely flopped onto the ground and just laid there to annoy her. " i could be doing other things." though he was lying, he really didn't have anything to do at that current moment besides to mess around since his training was done for the day.

She snorted and as he snapped at her paw, she flexed her claws in warning as her gaze narrowed in on him. "Your just proving how lazy you are." She sneered now as she started to turn away from him.
"Nothing from you, lazy-kin. You should be ashamed." She said from over her shoulder as she started to pad away.

Huojin was not about to take her insults any longer. even though he was young, he had pride in himself and his family so any insult to him or his family made him get riled up rather quickly. " your going to pay for saying that Alma." hissing, he was quick to get to his feet and go running towards her. his aim was to tackle her down and show her that he was not one to be insulted or messed with at all. he didn't care if he was being hot headed, he was just a young juvi who easily got hot headed.

She could hear him move, her head lowered as her shoulders hunched upwards as she stopped in her tracks as he tackled her.
Her move was to wrap her paws around his and throw her weight forward so that he'd have her pinned for a minute before the weight change would roll them, and she'd end up on top, if she'd done her training well this would work.

Huojin thought he had the upper hand as he tackled her. but too his horror they went rolling for a few moments as he fought to keep his upper hand. sadly because he had been too hot headed, he was now pinned underneath Alma instead of the other way around. snarling, he was unhappy with how this had gone down. " you won this round Alma but next time i'll get you back for this." tail lashing about slightly that wasn't pinned, he then snapped at her leg since he wanted her off him. to him it was humiliating to be pinned by a girl and he didn't want his mentor or any one seeing him pinned down by a girl.

His snapping teeth actually caught her leg and she was quick to move off of him with a scowl, she rubbed her leg with a frown. "You can try..but your hot head habits will get you." She said with a shake of her head.
"My brothers are like that.." Though she never refered to her one brother who was disowned, for being colors of shame. "Think before you act next time, and maybe you'll have a chance." She said with a flick of her tail.

Huojin was pleased when he managed to get her leg with his snapping teeth and that it had made her get off him rather fast. he got too his feet as fast as possible since he wasn't about to still be on the ground to allow her to further shame him. shaking the sand from his fur, he gave a growl at Alma. " whatever, just be sure to watch your back. i will get my pay back." huffing, he turned his back on her and stalked off to go sulk that he was beaten by a girl. though he also was going to plot his revenge eventually but for now he was in a sulking mood.

She watched him sulk away with a soft "Hmp!" beating him now only further proved that she was indeed better than any male.
With her chin in the air proudly, she padded away with a smug grin on her face, but while she looked to be full of herself, her mind was working and her ears were listening.
She'd be ready.
