These are really old, about 4 months maybe. It's grown into a jungle since then... half of the pennywort's floating on the surface and the dwarf lily... ack, dont even wanna go there. there's like, 10 lily pads floating on the top. I need to do some major maintenence... xD About 3 months or so after setting up... ^ If you look closely enough, under the driftwood on the very right, you can see my albino BN pleco's head sticking out and his eye shining from the flash razz bout a month after setting up... the dwarf lily is so tiny xD heck, all the plants are. It's nice to take pictures every so often to see how your tank has grown two male cherry barbs doing their little dance, though you cant really see it that well About a day after setting up... Used zebra danios to cycle sad should've gone fishless. Those danios and some of those plants are now in my aunt's tank. Kind of miss those guys, really active fish about the same time as a few pictures ago

Shanna66 have anymore pics of your pleco? i have a normal brisltenose and i love her to death, they are really cute fish I did a LOT of maintenance today including cutting off all the floating leaves on my lily (I was surprised, there were about 10 of em) and chopping off the majority of the pennywort. I think I'm going to let the pennywort just float for now since it can grow without being planted. Hopefully I'll be able to get rid of it somehow because there's about 4 feet of it. Sooo once I get a hold of a camera (my sister has one, but I'm scared to ask her since she thinks I broke it >.<) I'll take some new pictures. smile I still can't sex mine yet, though. The edge of its mouth has a ton of short bristles and 2 single bristles on its actual head. I don't think its full grown yet, so I guess I'll have to wait and see. I love mine too smile He's really shy, though. If I near my head towards the tank to look at him, he'll stare at me for a few seconds then run back to hiding under the driftwood, which is his home xD I honestly want another once I figure out its sex, but just this one makes enough waste as it is so I don't know...

I've found the right balance of plants and fish that I once went about a month without a water change and there were absolutely no nitrates. I still do them though, just so the fish aren't always swimming in the exact same water and to replenish the trace elements. my favorite thing about plecos... I just like watching them eat for some reason xD broccoli, cucumber, zucchini... so much stuff you can feed em! and they roll their eyes C:

I still need to try feeding mine zucchini xd his favorite is broccoli stems and cucumber, he likes sweet potato too... we have similar taste ;D
only thing i really dislike about my tank is my gravel choice... put too much white in (i shouldnt have even put in any at all) but it's way too much work having to move everything around so whatever. I can wait a while till i updrage to a new tank smile

Thanks. :3 Yeah, I was lucky that my lfs had them.
Also.. I think they're going to spawn soon! The male is chasing off any fish that come too close and they're both moving around the gravel piece by piece. It's pretty interesting. They've colored up more but the male's tail got worse somehow sad
The gourami and pleco also need to learn soon not to go to the kribs' side of the tank. I just hope they don't learn the hard way.

Actually, right after I posted last, I went to a really neat LFS and they had 4 of them, I think 1 male and 3 females. I wanted them sooooo bad, but I only have a 20 long, and its very full with Guppies lol I cant wait till they spawn! Krib babies are so cute! whee
