Because the Shinigami winning right away is too boring. :3
In an effort to extend the arc and add a twist that not many will expect, I'm thinking of altering my plans for the arc slightly.
Just basic points to reflect on since I don't plan on giving away all of the details to you guys.
- The Sephira at the current moment are certainly superior in power, the upper ones (50 points+) being able to take on two Captains without going down. Keep that in mind as you fight. I'm saying I don't want to see you OPing the Sephira and winning. Most of you will probably lose or should make a conscious effort to lose... -rubs chin- Basically this isn't like a manga where each of you are Ichigo and magically win because you think you're supposed to. The Sephira are definitely tough, and are supposed to be.
- Captains please think long and hard about how your RPC would react to being offered the chance to be a Vizard. I know you as a person would be all over that chance, but I want it to be realistic. Ie. Clifford, as a guild member might be happy to RP a Vizard, but Lee would more than likely sooner die than become a Vizard.

Your reaction to your RPC being a vizard: Personally I think it would be overkill. I imagine some sort of point additions would be made. I doubt it would be less than 4 points, so it would max Yuki's stats out completely, and probably then some since I'm sure PS and Speed would be added on to.
Would you as a member be opposed to Arrancarization being forced upon your RPC despite his/her objections?: No opposition, but I would be amused to see who could force anything on Yuki.
I agree with some sort of tactical retreat as it's nothing Yuki wouldn't consider. It also seems like it would be better for a development of the plot. It could serve to put things into perspective for some RPCs, especially given certain things I've heard are going to happen.

Your reaction to your RPC being a vizard: BRING IT ON!!! Tetsu is me, in a sense. And if I had the opportunity to go Vizard, I'd do it without hesitation. . . Maybe. stare the whole concurring your inner Hollow might turn me off at first, but I know I could do it if I set my mind to it. 3nodding EDIT: Since everyone keeps adding what would happen to their personality if their RPC became Vizard, I'm pretty sure it would make Tetsunosuke become a little more arrogant and mouthy - since he knew he was more powerful he would definitely get cocky.

I'm pretty sure Tetsunosuke would be willing to embrace it - even if forced to undergo the change. If it meant doing it for a friend, or even just for Soul Society, Tetsunosuke would want to do it. I'm not opposed to anything happening to my RPC, even death. Like Virgil, I've got other characters in mind and would love to create, or rework.
Also, I would love to see the Shinigami get their arses handed to them! twisted It would be a welcomed change. A tactical retreat to the human world, where a safe house that Hibiki's set up just in case of something like this would ever happen, in my eyes, would be unique and entertaining. It's not fun, or educational, always winning, sometimes you need to lose.

Lee would not react well. It would go against what he believes in and would make him loath himself slightly. The only thing he would even accept was the boost in power to protect those he cares about though even that would be ultimately unwanted. He is just not one to compromise his beliefs for power and as stated IC he is very against such a transformation.

Not at all. I think it would be amusing to see how it adds to his character. If he does get chosen I would also probably like it to be a surprise. Especially if it is forced upon him since he would never agree to do it. XD
I would not be against the Shinigami losing. I think it would be an interesting little twist if they lost or if it came to something similar to a draw. I think it would be an entertaining thing to rp out. Especially considering the Captains and Lts. are not going to go in expecting to lose. xp

Tetsunosuke would object to being raped... :Stare: any character would, unless it was Zenos raping Sakuya, of course, that wouldn't be rape. xd
But yea~ it's whatever happens. Not like Tetsu is lucky enough to have it happen to him. whee

Your reaction to your RPC being a vizard: Personally, I always love throwing in this type of twist. It gives creativity to the members to create a new aspect of their character as well as a small plot twist. Now, whether this is going to be thrust upon many ,or just a choice few, is what is concerning.
If many were to have it, not so good. It would make the idea of being a vizard quite diluted in the sense of 'special' and/or 'select'. That is basically where I draw the line.

Personally, aside from the power boost, I rather like the idea of Hibiki becoming a Vizard as it'll add a bit more depth to his personality, especially if it'll be by force as he'll probably go semi-emo. xd

Not at all, I've been trying to put more depth to him and if he gets chosen then it just might do the trick. Though, of course, I wouldn't mind it that much if he doesn't get picked, I'll just RP him bawwing at the other's decision/forced decision.
@Ichi's idea: Just replace "...a safe house that Hibiki's set up just in case..." with "Hibiki's room" and it's a go. rofl
But seriously though, I'm up for it. It'd at least make him useful. xd
