Nibelheim is comprised of five accessible buildings and the mansion at the end. There is also a route next to the mansion which exits Nibelheim and leads up to Mt. Nibel. The Shinra Mansion on the outskirts of Nibelheim holds many secrets of Professor Hojo's experiments. The mansion, having been in the Shinra Electric Power Company's possession for ages, was the setting for the horrible experiments that would become the Jenova Project. It is seen as a somewhat derelict house of grandeur with a long walk leading from the outskirts to the entrance.

Many years before the events of the main storyline of Final Fantasy VII, the basement was used for experiments by the head of Shinra's Science Division, Hojo. In competition with his scientific rival Hollander, he tried to create the perfect soldier. He decided to use Jenova cells on his colleague and lover Lucrecia Crescent while she was in early stages of pregnancy, which ultimately led to the birth of Sephiroth, a child born with Jenova cells. This special child would be sent to Shinra, and specially raised to be the ultimate SOLDIER before Lucrecia could even hold him.

Lucrecia had left Midgar, and Edge about a day ago in search of a certain red-caped man. She was beginning to worry,as he had been missing without a word for quite a while now. She had earlier found someone who was driving from Edge to Nehibelhem, and being the nice person they were, they allowed her to join along.

The truck pulled into the small town, as the two stepped out. Lucrecia smiled softly at the man. "Thank you so much. You are leaving back to Midgar tomorrow, right?"

"Yer right ma'am! " He tipped his hat with a friendly wink, before walking off, waving as he did. "I'll come find ya when we're on our way back, ya? "

Lucrecia laughed softly. He was strange, but he got her where she wanted to be. This was not her top destination, but she had to do it. This was the only place she knew of that he might have been in. With that, the women walked off through the town into the direction of the ShinRa Manor. Along the way, she passed the tree smiling ever so faintly at the memories. Placing her hand on the gates, she gently pushed them open and proceeded inside.

"Vincent?" Her voice called out, it was quiet. She didn't know who might be inside, or what. With that in mind, she picked up an old piece of wood from the ground before going up the stairs. "Vincent?" She called again, checking the rooms on the left, before entering the one on the right. He wasn't in any of them.

Finally, she came to the 'secret wall', and pressed the torch light down, as the door slid open, leading down into the spiral stair case down below. It was dark, and extremely eerie. The women walked down the long hallway only to stop at the one room of coffins. She had no idea Vincent used to sleep in there. "...." Nothing. Sighing heavily, Lucrecia walked out and opened the door to the next room of some disturbing memories. She went through in a hurry, the quicker she looked, the faster she could leave. She went all the way to the back where all the books were, with no sign of him.

With another sigh, she moved to rest against the wall. The walk down the stairs alone was pretty exhausting. As she rested there, she heard a faint 'click' noise, and before she knew it, the wall opened up, and she was now on another side of it. "..W-what..This..was never ..here.." Lucrecia held up the piece of wood as she slid into a defensive stance of her own.

" Mmm.. Welcome home....Wife..Ha,ha,ha.." A ever so familiar voice spoke out. As the room filled with light, she could see the figure of a man in a long white coat, long raven black hair and black rimmed glasses resting just at the bridge of his nose.

"Hojo!?!" Her anger quickly rose, to something he hadn't seen since the day they fought over custody of there son.Without thinking, she threw the piece of wood straight at his face. Only to see it go right through him and clatter against the wall, splitting into pieces from age and dry-rot.

"Ha, ha , ha! Don't think it to easy to find me. I am everywhere..." The image of Hojo seemed to shimmer a moment.

"You can't be alive...This is some sort of joke! You can't be!" She turned away, looking for a way out of the room.

"Oh, But I am.." The image shimmered once more, before it seemed to become solid, no longer just a hologram. Hojo slowly walked up from behind her, grabbing her arm to her surprise and pulling her into a kiss.

Lucrecia's eyes widened, as she brought up a knee, and kicked where it hurts the most. Strangely, it seemed to have no affect on him. "You stay away!" She backed up into the wall.

Hojo's hands seemed to morph, as his nails turned into long claws. He grabbed at her again, digging the razor sharp nails into her arm.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 14, 2010 3:34 am

That same 'click' sounded again, as the wall opened up, Lucrecia falling right through as Hojo's claws slid down her arm, leaving a painful set of claw marks going down it, stopping just at her wrist.

"That's..not Hojo....Its not, It's not, It's NOT!!" Before he opened the door up again, she had better escape. Ignoring the pain, she hurried down the dark hall and ran as fast as she could up the stair case. Once she was out, she let the door close and hurried her way out of the manor through the gates, stopping to catch her breath as she tried to calm both her heart, and mind down. He wasn't just alive by computers, he -was- alive, and the way it sounded, he had made clones of himself. So finding him would not be a easy task.

Finally, she walked off to find a place to tend to her arm with. For having being a scientist, she was never good with blood. There was a small store near by, so she quickly headed inside.

"Excuse me..sir.." She asked the person behind the desk. The man nearly jumped as he saw the womens arm, before she got a chance to say anything, he ran down a few isles and grabbed a long gauze and cloth wrap with some tape.

"Goodness, what happened to ya? Here. Let me help.. Come with me. " He motioned for her to follow, flipping the sign to closed before he did and took her to the restroom where a sink was.

"Sorry! I just..ran into some trouble...I'm so sorry for bothering you.."

"Don't apologize, just take care of you're self next time. Don't tell me, You didn't go into that old Manor, did you?" The look on her face said everything. He knew there were monsters roaming that building, but he didn't know just what it was that caused the wound to the women. "That place is cursed! Never step foot in there." He sighed, carefully washing off her arm, and after drying it, he wrapped the gauze around it, sealing it with a cloth wrapping, and taping it together. "Ok, There you go. "

"Thank you..so much. I'm so sorry again. How much do I owe you?" She asked, resting her hand on her arm. He must have had some experience in the medical field to have reacted in such a way.

"Nothin'. Just don't go into that building again, Ya hear?!" Leading her out, he flipped the sign back to open and opened the door for her.

"I..wont.." For now, she wasn't planning on going back in there unless she was armed with something better then a old piece of wood. Lucrecia headed out of the building, only to enter yet another one. Over the years, all the towns and villages had grown a little bigger, and added more stores. This time, she needed to find a jacket or some sort so she didn't have such a unsightly wound showing. She found a red jacket, that almost looked like Aeriths but with long sleeves. Slipping it off the hanger, she slid it on and took off the tag.

Forcing a smile, she quickly payed for the jacket before walking out. She was going to be here a while, all this for nothing! It made her angry at herself for doing such a wreck-less thing. Lucrecia walked over to the tree she often had so many little picnics on with Vincent, and sat down into the lush green grass. The womens brown eyes closing as she leaned back against the grass. Eventually, she fell asleep.

(( Wee fun. Just had to think of some crazy, weird way to say our favorite mad scientist is still aliiiiveee... ))

(( When unsure what to do, Make long, pointless posts else where. XD Weee.. ))

Lucrecia awoke to see the bright blue sky's, birds flying, and many rather nice looking Clouds above in all kinds of shapes. Some even looked like a sea of waves through the sky. The young women sat up, but the moment she did, she found out just why she had slept so long. She felt a throbbing pain in her head, and didn't feel to well at that. The pain radiating down her arm also did not make it any better.

Her gentle eyes narrowed ever so slightly. Knowing Hojo, Those claws were not just regular sharp ones, but tainted with small dozes of mako and Jenova cells. Getting to her feet, she looked around for the man who helped bring her here. His truck was still there, so she knew he didn't take off without her. Sighing softly, she walked over to what looked to be a young couple. "I'm sorry to bother you. Have you seen a older man, funny accent, He was wearing a tan hat. The owner of that truck over there. "

"Oh, he went down that way. Toward the mountain. " The women said with a smile.

"Thank you." She forced her own, kind smile before turning and walking away down the path of what would lead to the mountain. Only half way there, did she see up ahead, a trail or what looked like crimson red stain on the ground, it looked as though it was dragged somewhere..

"......" Lucrecia cautiously followed, where she saw only boots sticking out from behind a bush. The blood trail stopped right there. Her heart began to pick up speed as she inched her way closer, only to see the most gruesome sight. That kind man was laying in a pool of his own blood, slashed up horribly, she quickly turned away, clasping a hand over her mouth to keep from screaming at the sight. Was this a monster from the mountain? Or did that what she could only guess was a clone of Hojo, get out?

(Well, Im not going to midgar right now, and the tower's empty, so... To nibelheim!!!!)

Suddenly, out of a dark, dead end alleyway inside the town, a robed figure walked out. No one had seen him enter, but they werent always watching, so nobody freaked out, especially since the figure hadn't done something crazy like start attacking people the way the monster's and many of the genova children would have. He walked into the center of town unimpeded, hood kept up as he looked around, taking in the site of the town, vision occasionally flashing as the memory's of his other tried to settle into place in his mind. The figure looked up towards the mansion, walking towards it, but paused at the main gate. This place, it had a feel to it. Darkness, evil, science. Each of these scents lingered here, mingling together, showing there connection to each other. He abruptly turned, walking towards the mountain path, stopping at the foot of the mountain itself, looking up it towards the mako reactor above. So, that is a gap. The figure thought as he saw the reactor, laced to his vision with tiny flecks of blue on its structure. To someone inside, they would find small blue crystals here and there inside and around the reactor, with a slightly heavier concentration near the actual mako tanks.

(Well crap, now there's a party at mideel I wanna bust in on, but my good excuse already died and got reabsorbed, and I had already decided there would only be him and his other currently...)

(( lol. ))

Lucrecia had heard the call, if seeing Hojo's form, and the creature of a man even laying a finger on her wasn't bad enough. Trying to keep her eyes from the bloody sight of the dead body before her, she grabbed the pair of keys laying next to him. The women quickly turned away from the mountains path, balling up her fist. Her gentle nature seeming to fade away at the many memories that rushed through her head. She had to leave, more importantly, she had an idea. Before she had lost contact with Vincent, he gave her one of the vials of the "Cure".

Lucrecia hurried to the truck, opening the door and setting in the key before the engines roared to life. It didn't sound like the best most healthiest truck in the world, but it did it's job.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 14, 2010 6:31 pm

The figure had started up the path when something echo'd through the air. It was a word. it sounded like 'come' almost, although faint. After a moment of contemplation, he realized it had echo'd through psychic channel's, organic psychic channel's. He shoudnt be able to access those, he never had been, but he was sure that was what it had been. So, something about this world had caused some fundamental changes to him as well. He suddenly hears the sound of a truck engine turning over. or rather, coughing and sputtering into barely life. the thing didnt sound like it would run for long, but the odd part was that it was down here. The villager's had treated this place almost like anathema, never even passing the mansion. So what was a truck doing down here? He had checked, this was the only road out of this section of mountain, so whoever it was would be coming his way. His natural curiousity made him want to see them, so he stands in the middle of the road-path, and wait's, listening to the faint hum of the still echoing call underlying the engine sound.

Pressing her foot on the gas, she accelerated as fast as she could get the truck to go.."!!?" As the truck had reached it's top speed, she saw a figure standing there, right in the middle of the path! The women stepped onto the gas quickly, the truck skidding violently against the dirt path. Losing control at this point would be a horrible crash. She turned the steering wheel to the left, just narrowly avoiding the crazy man as the truck began to skid against the ground...

The figure watch's the truck start drifting and sliding, violently out of control, a recovery impossible except for an extremly skilled driver. Or with some outside help. There is a flash of yellow, and the sound of screeching metal, and suddenly the truck is at a dead halt, the engine dead, but the truck intact and the person inside fine, if a little shaken. for them it would have seemed like a bright flash of yellow light, a jolt, then it would fade and there they were. The figure then starts walking towards the truck, wisps of silver hair, almost exactly the same as that of the JENOVA-touched like sephiroth, drifting out from under the face concealing hood as he does. That irritating echo was getting louder for him, but what was it for? The name Jenova circulates through his mind suddenly, and he pauses a few meter's from the side of the truck. Why had that name popped into his head... The man from earlier, sephiroth, had said that name.... the file's... it coudnt be a coincidence, too much was adding up.

Lucrecia was far from a skilled driver, in fact, she had barely ever even driven. She had escorts with her at all times, and people that drove her to places so many years ago. Her heart raced as she couldn't seem to get control of the vehicle.

Just when she was about to give up trying to steer it and hope that letting it go would hep clear up the dangerous situation, there was a bright flash of yellowish light, to her surprise and complete confusion at that, she came to realize the truck at completely stopped...

Lucrecia's brown eyes came to rest on the figure ahead, the first thing she recognized was the silver hair. However, Lucrecia knew her own son, and that was not him. Just, another copy? She didn't understand why if it was in fact another clone, that it saved her. The women watched him as he neared the side of her truck... "...Who..are you?" He may have saved her, but trust was not in her right now.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 14, 2010 7:08 pm

The figure looks up from the dented side of the truck where his eyes had focused as his mind had been peicing together information, to the women inside of it. A name doesnt appear in his mind, to his relief. If it had, he would know this place coudnt be real, likely a simulation by one of his enemy's, trying to dissect his ability's to copy them then kill him. It still could be, but it didnt seem likely. Who was she? She seemed to have this little aura of self importance of someone who once had a decent amount of ability in some way, from ruling a star system, to simply being the leader of a company or other similar things. it was all relative. of course, he could just be seeing thing's, or misinterpreting. Then he realizes she had asked a question, which then processes through his insanely overactive mind. He considered the question for a moment, and decided to take it in the context that many people seemed to, a simple request for a name. Name's had never hurt him... no, they had, but not in a long time. "My name? It's Arcene." He says, although he makes no move to, well, move. The engine didnt seem to him like it was likely to start again without some assisstance. That irritating call was still increasing in volume, and it was starting to bore into his mind. he didnt like the feeling, not this... invasion.

As she watched the man, her hand flicked the key that was still in the ignition, trying to get it started up again. To no avail, it wouldn't seem to start. Sighing, she carefully opened the door to step out. "Well, Arcene..Was it you that saved me? " She didn't see anyone else around, though if it was, it was definitely a display of great power to have shut down the truck like that.

"Thank you..I'm..Lucrecia. I need to get somewhere, but now the truck won't start.I don't suppose you can fix that? " As she thought about it, she really needed better transportation. There was no way she could get half way across the world in this beat up truck. And she needed to get there fast. It was times like this, she wished there was a airship around. Perhaps like the one Aerith had told her about, The Highwind..
PostPosted: Tue Sep 14, 2010 7:38 pm

"Glad to meet you Lucrecia. Where did you need to go?" Arcene asks as she gets out. He had nearly kiloled her, so the least he could do was offer to fix her truck if the place was close. He could, but it would take around an hour to get that engine up to anything approaching what he considered snuff. Shutting it down hadnt been hard, it had simply required a little finesse, which it appeared the mage's in this world had none of.

(Sorry about it being a bit short, but I need to go soon, and I dont wanna leave you stuck here.)

(( No problem. ^^ I can find ways out of places if someone leaves. lol. Thanks though! ))

"It's a place called Mideel. Though, it's very far away from here. Actually, it's half way on the other side of the world..I don't even know if this truck could make it very far. It doesn't seem like it's in top shape.." Lucrecia sighed softly. "Sorry for the trouble.." He may of been the one at fault for standing in the middle of the road, but at the same time, she should have watched where she was going and not gone so fast at the time. All that lingered in the womens mind was getting to Jenova, and putting an end to her.
