What is the first RPG you ever played?
My first was Final Fantasy III (AKA FF VI). I loved it, until the main guy started getting all googly-eyed for Celes instead of Terra. That bugged me. stare

First attempt was FFVII.. A late start for RPGs for me.
And~ here come the flames because: I HATED IT xd I stopped playing not even halfway through. I then tried FFXIII.. Hated it... Skipped IX and went straight to FFX and loved it... Tidus that is all *cough* so I will count my first as FFX 3nodding

Hated it... Skipped IX and went straight to FFX and loved it... Tidus that is all *cough* so I will count my first as FFX 3nodding BURN BURN! LOL just kidding. You haven't tried Final Fantasy IX? Oh wow, you should play it! I love Zidane! heart He's a silly little womanizer. :3 I liked Final Fantasy VII but I was so sad cuz of Aerith and later on her boyfriend Zack. I didn't like Final Fantasy VIII either. Hated junction, hated stealing magic, hated stealing summons, hated Squall's PMS moods, and just overall hated it. Loved X. Didn't much like X-2 though. Don't really like FF XII either. I do like XIII, though. ^-^

Well... Lessee... I started with either Pokemon Yellow or FFVIII-- Liked both of them, though FFVIII was hard for me to understand (at the age of 10, I mean come on. ...Wait, was I 10? I can't remember. xD Either way I was young.)
FF8 was enough for me to want to try out FFIX... Lo and behold, I liked FF9 BETTER than 8.
(Never liked FFVII much though. I see Aerith's personality as kind of bland and...sandpapery. Well, more like a cardboard cut-out. Just my opinion. xD)
I liked all the other Final Fantasies though, right up until... Squeenix.
That just killed everything. )B
But yeah, I never knew about Ar Tonelico until MUCH later. xD

I LOVE YOU AAAALL.
Omg, all your games are AMAAAAZING <3 Alright, let's think back a bit... My first ever RPG, huh? If I recall well, it was probably Secret of Mana 3 [I still play whenever I get the chance] : ) I played it with a neighbour when I was younger... Hmm, I also started out on Final Fantasy VI [yeah, Locke liking Celes is a total bummer .__. Terra deserves love sooo much more, but I can't be that dissapointed, cause Celes has a sad story too T__T], Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time [goes without saying that this game is an epic of epic proportions] and Breath of Fire III : D Actually, I think I played BoF III before any of those, but I'm unsure xDD I fell in love as soon as saw the opening movie, and could play as the Emperor in the beginning : DDD
I still play all of those games, btw xD

You played the end of Crisis Core, right? when he was fighting all those soldiers and his memory was fading away, before he died

My first RPG until about 3 years ago was Pokemon Yellow. I was only allowed to have handhelds and as such, really only played those games. Then I got me a PS2 and, admittedly, Ar Tonelico was the first RPG I played on that system. I only own the Kingdom Hearts series and Ar Tonelico 2 as far as RPGs go to this day. Someone educate me on the joys of other series' please!

No wait, it was Red, then Yellow 3nodding
So Red's my first. After that it had to be Zelda OOT :/ Man I skipped my entire preteen years of gameplay ._. My apologizes, I don't like to remember those years anyway.
I remember Threads of Fate though! I really liked that game 4laugh
EDIT: HOLD IT! eek this memory was like a kick in the face! My first was NES Illusions of Gaia!!!!!! *feels accomplished* cool
Can't believe I forgot all about that game, it was so epic 4laugh
