satisfy those thrillsThe wooden door before you betrays no secrets to the contents of the room it conceals besides the name of its owner.
The name 'Peris' is written in brown marker on a whiteboard hanging from a nail. The handwriting is average. Maybe a
bit edgy. Something about it compels you do open the door(maybe you found it amusing that someone had crossed out
the 'r' and wrote an 'n' instead?), and you do just that.
A boy leans against the frame of the window in the room. His eyes look towards you; a bright turquoise blue that stands
out against his hair, skin, and outfit of shades of brown. You meet his eyes and are distracted by his charming air long
enough to be distracted from his putting out of a cigarette on the windowsill-was one not supposed to have those? well
whoops- with a grin and charming smile. "W'll hullo, there." The man runs his hand through his hair, a fluffy tuft with a heavy
bang, cut to a medium length save for the ponytail that fell from the name of his neck to the middle of his back. He leans
one arm against the wall, his ankles crossing. "I d'n believe Ah've ever seen y'round here before. 'least not in here." The
boy seems confident. Charming. The sort of full-of-myself personality that someone either hated or loved, not both. "So,
what c'n Ah do fer ya?" He gives a big, toothy grin and leans towards you. Close enough to where you can see that his eyes,
seemingly the most brilliant and charming part about him, his eyes hold an almost eerie, cold look... All of the information in this quest thread is more about Peris my OC. This Gijinka character I'm questing for is a mere adaptation. He is, I am, very flexible. This means that anything about the character can--and probably will--change according to however he is drawn/played in the 707 universe. <3

xxxxxxxxAt first glance, Peris seems rather…. Well. Doofy. He's slick and charming and easy to talk to. Though he won't necessarily start a conversation, he'll chat someone up like you wouldn't believe; he always has something to say, even if someone obviously doesn't want to hear it. No matter who he's talking to, Peris will be straightforward and direct in his conversation, not minding the fact that he could be in someone's personal space, or could be talking about a sensitive subject. He'll have an arm around your shoulder, or will be looming rather close to your face as he talks, even if you look as if you're about to give him a good punch to the face. The furret constantly wears a bright grin on his face that is either rather contagious, or downright disgusting. He never appears to be at disease.
xxxxxHidden badass.
xxxxxxxxPeris is darker in character than one would think. The man who is always smiling, always cheerful, is a man of many faces. Peris is, in fact, a rather pessimistic character. His greatest fear is to be taken advantage of, to be lied to, to be hurt. Thusly, he never lets his true self be known. The furret puts on a mask of cheerfulness whenever he interacts with another, while his mind will be constantly full of dislike for most around him. No, he doesn't really like you, no matter how it might seem like he does, but he'd rather put up with you than put forth his weaknesses to the world. When he's alone, Peris will be lost in his thoughts, his effervescent smile gone, his eyes dark and cold…
This is not to say, however, that Peris is completely heartless. He can make friends, though he would be rather reluctant.
Strengths
xxxxxStay away…
xxxxxxxxPeris is excellent at keeping distance from others. Whether this is a strength or not is up for interpretation, but he sees it as one of his greatest strengths. Because of his disinclination to connect with others, he believes he is more well-suited to take on challenges.
xxxxxSnazzy wordplay
xxxxxxxxPeris is a master of forming conversations in his head. He is constantly thinking of how to run a discussion; what to say, what to focus the subject on. Thusly, he generally always has something snappy to say to shift a conversation in his favor. This sometimes ends up with him pissing off whoever he's talking to, but it doesn't make much of a difference in his eyes.
xxxxxWho, me?
xxxxxxxxDon't underestimate him. Peris will be, like a furret, quick and agile, and won't often fight. In fact, he'll be more likely to take a few good hits before giving any back. If pressed beyond a certain point, though, Peris will be more than happy to give a few good punches.
Weaknesses
xxxxxNever again…
xxxxxxxxPeris is extremely fearful of anyone taking advantage of him, which results in his sort of bi-layered personality. Because of it, Peris—while he appears to be extremely friendly and easy to get along with—tries to distance his true self from others. Peris is, then, extremely emotionally volatile, and when pressed will not be afraid to show his darker half.
xxxxxAnnoying? Never…
xxxxxxxxTo others, Peris will always act extremely cheerful and 'in your face.' He is, then very prone to being punched in the face by the less social ones out there. He is very aware of this, and will more often than not do nothing to stop it(in fact, if he were to get punched he'd probably not loose his grin. Creepy…?). He's not a particularly bulky creature, so he could very easily be severely injured

xxxxxxxxAs per nature, Peris is rather easily distracted. Whether he acts this way or if he's truly airheaded is unknown, but if he's talking to you and a rattata runs by, he's bound to chase after it.

xxxxxxxxPeris is curious at nature. He's bound to like those with interesting quirks and will be compelled to start up a conversation and try to get to know them more, not necessarily to be friends, but just to know what they're like.

xxxxxxxxThe furret doesn't like the quiet or the calm. He's one to find order in the chaos; he finds it easy to process his thoughts when there's a lot going on around him, and prefers a loud, chaotic surrounding to a quiet and serene one.

xxxxxxxxPeris dislikes those who have a bright, straightforward personality like the one he so easily shows. He is more prone to like those who are darker, and keep themselves secretive; due to how he himself acts, he finds that he can trust the more secretive ones more.

xxxxxxxxBoredom is the worst thing the furret could possibly face. When bored, Peris will get rather antsy, and who knows what could come from that…

xxxxxWha-what is he even saying?
xxxxxxxxPeris talks in a strange, choppy accent. It is, to be honest, completely made up, used as another sort of 'mask' to make his overall character more confusing to others. Once in a while, he'll slip up an drop it, but not many seem to take notice.

xxxxxxxxThe furret constantly has a wide 'come hither' grin on his face. It can be rather contagious to some, and at the same time make others want to punch him in the face.
xxxxxI'm not your 'darling'
xxxxxxxxPeris will frequently call others 'darlin'' or 'love' or 'm'dear' in conversations, always in a tone of voice that seems rather flirtatious. Don't take it too seriously, though.
