Hestia enjoyed gardens. They helped her relax and refresh her mind and heart. She was left alone to the gardens of Olympus quite often as the other gods and goddesses were always off somewhere else. She couldn't understand why they enjoyed being away from Olympus so much...
She loved it here. She was safe here. It was home.
Turning a corner, the goddess of the hearth came upon the someone sitting on a nearby bench. Upon walking closer, Hestia found that it was Hera and her eyes widened. After Hera getting angry over Zeus hugging her when she presented their child with a gift, Hestia wasn't sure what to expect from the goddess...but she walked closer anyway.
"Good day, my lady...How are you?" She asked with a soft smile. "I haven't seen you in the gardens for some time."(I can only make a few posts and then I need to go. I have some errands to run)

Hestia tilted her head with a frown, something was wrong, at least bothering Hera. Taking a seat on a small chair beside a flowering bush, Hestia folded her hands in her lap,
"Is something bothering you, my lady? Would you care to speak with me about it?" She asked. "I may not have the answers you seek, but I can at least share the burden with you, perhaps, if you let me..." A faint breeze blew through the garden, bringing with it the strong scent of roses and fresh spring water from the south of the garden. Hestia closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, fully enjoying every second of it and smiled over at Hera after it had passed.
"I love this garden." She said simply.

"My lady, if I might speak plainly, you are the goddess of marriage...yet you hold no trust in your husband. I know he has hurt you in the past, but if he is trying to be loyal to you now, you should treat him as though he were loyal." Her eyes were sad. "My brother loves you...but with the way you have been so extremely jealous and untrusting of him, it is only natural that he is beginning to lose trust in you." Hestia sighed, preparing for Hera to yell at her. She hated to be yelled at. She only wanted to help.
"And when you visit his children that are not children he shares with you, it makes sense that he worries about being overthrown..." She shrugged and looked at Hera, waiting for her response. Dreading how she would react.

"Perhaps you may learn form his mistake, then. You jump to conclusions over his actions all the time...and now he jumps to one and you are hurt...Perhaps you will better know how he feels now and you can use this time to mend the broken parts of your marriage together." She suggested.
"As it happens, however, you have been slightly distracted lately...and have not seen the trouble brewing in the mortal world." Hestia glanced at a small stone bowl that served as a lantern in teh garden. She made the fire come to her hands and molded it into an orb. Then the goddess of fire showed Hera images of the last few days...the ship being sunk by Hades at the port, the riot in New York that ruined the wedding an then the riots in China town.
"My lady, all this has been happening this week, and this particular wedding was one of the largest you were to see this year...Zeus has been hard at work trying to get to the bottom of all these things...Which is why he has not been around lately..." Hestia explained. "I believe Zeus fears another war in the future..."

With a sigh, Hestia nodded and stood. She wasn't sure anything had actually gotten through to Hera...but she hoped it would at least give her something to think about...and perhaps help ease the trouble she and Zeus were having.
"Well, I must be going...but I hope you feel better soon. Think about what I said..." She had work to do, so she really did have to go...
She and Demeter had been trying to plan a family dinner for a week now and it had failed every time so far. Everyone was growing rather sad these days and Hestia was determined to do something to help brighten everyone's mood. Somehow...(Gotta go! See ya later!)
