The year was 1692. Protestantism ruled the new world with insufferable distaste. Everything was a sin. A group of teenagers experienced this sin as a way of rebellion, in the form of magic preformed by the maid. Caught in the act of this sin, the girls claimed to be possessed by demons. They said the devil took their souls and told them everyone who had signed a contract with him for power. Villagers went around, using this problem as an excuse to get their neighbors land.

The year is 1693, just months after the witch trials ripped through Massachusetts. The population was still recovering from the surprise of the whole story coming into the light. Villagers still suspected witches and demons among them.And they're right. Witches are fighting to blend in with the humans. Well, most of them. Some are still doing the devils bidding. And the humans are trying to survive the weather and the powers of those around them.

OH no! Paragraph form rules! now I have to read it all! Yes that's right, You gotta read it all. First off, Blood_Thorn07 is the Goddess of this RP, and I am the second in command. What we say is law of the land folks. Second, Send me, Ryuksin, your profiles, and When you send in your profiles, put goddess somewhere at the end so I know you read the rules. Next, Swearing is okay, but if you swear like every other word, its a problem. Next on is this is a SEMI-LIT Rp. so at the very least, one paragraph with 5 sentences. it shouldn't be that hard. Next thing is that we want proper punctuation. Remember, there is a difference between, "Let's eat Grandma!" and "Lets eat, Grandma!" Commas save Grandma's lives. No TXT talk or leet speak! don't talk like "Thiiis cuz u iz n ape." next thing is, This is 1693! they had no phones, ipods, cars, planes, or electricity! you want light at night, you use candle or some other source of fire, you want to go somewhere far, you ride a horse, you wanna listen to music, make it yourself. Also, romance is fine, but keep it atleast PG-16. If you gotta Cyber, at least take it to the pm's. and finally, when you send in your profile, send it with this as the Subject: By Wiccan Rules I do Abide.

Just adding in my own rules, cuz I can.
-Please make a fun format. I'm not looking for anything fancy or huge and complex. Just colorful. But please don't rainbow or color change the whole thing. Because that annoys me to no end. Little parts like sayings on the side are fine though.
-Also, No guns. They're not cool. Be creative!
-No auto-hits/godmodding/mary-sues/larry-stu/gender-benders/inability to remember their past because you’re too lazy to write a bio. At least write one and then have WHY they can't remember anything.
-Do not use ** while in character. Use “” for speech and ‘’ and italics for thought. Be sure to capitalize and punctuate sentences.
I'm a grammar Nazi and will call you out on it. ^_^
And the most important rule of all.... Have fun! Post Often (like a few times a week). I understand the real world is time consuming. Trust me... And if you cant, just let either Ryuksin or myself know. We don't bite. And I'm sorry if I seem strict.

My story
I was a Knight in Training before my family dragged me over here. Top of my class, too. My instructors always said the best knight in England was learning from them. Well, that was before my mother and father packed up our house in London and shipped us over to the colony. It was no easy thing, riding across the Atlantic for all that time. All of us were beginning to go mad by the time they spotted land.
After we were all moved in on our new little farm, my father and I went out to begin planting and scrounging up livestock. I had never been more miserable in all my days in training than I had on the farm. A few months of this later, the Salem Witch trials began. We were of the first suspects, since we just arrived. Mother and Father were taken into the jail and persecuted. I was left alone, only because I still had my sword. And the farm is were I stay now, still bitter towards the townspeople for killing my parents.

My story
While I look human, I am really just a demon that has taken a new form. I was born as most human were through a women, but I killed her, the effort too much for her frail heart. Since my father has rejected me as his son, but no longer have to worry about him. He is now dead, persecuted in the trials. I do not know why I was sent here in this form, only that I know I am forever stuck here. I am currently searching for a which that may help me in sending me back from whence I came.
I have been looking over the farm since the beginning of the Trials, my father being one of the many first prosecuted. And I was the one to say he was a witch. He deserved anyway for what he had been doing to women in the village. He had raped and killed women four times since the time of my mother dying. But he feared me, and I believed he knew what I was. But that's in the past now.

My story
My mom and I have lived in Salem for as long as I can remember. And the Witch trials was no easy time for us. We were almost always in our house, by the woods. And when we went out, mom took special precautions with my ears. I wore more bonnets than you could imagine all at once. The people avoided us but never outright accused us. I think they were afraid of mom's power.
And before I knew it, the trials were over. Life pretty much went back to the way it was before the ginormous mess. Well, people were still on edge with what happened, especially the people that went to jail. But I got to stop wearing bonnets, which was nice. They were itchy.

My story
My father sent me to Massachusetts to start a new life away from the slandering lies started about the Moreaux family. Our name, derieving from "little dark," turned every finger pointing in our direction when the news of witch trials reached Paris. My father was doing a fantastic job of keeping our family's heritage a secret, until one day when a large cart of goods came racing down the hill towards a young girl. Desperate to help, I ran forward and shielded the child with my own body. But just before the cart was to run into us, it turned sharply and toppled over. I was instantly labeled as a witch.
All of the titles and wealth that my father earned were stripped from his family and he was forced to work as a peasant. Each day was a struggle for my life and rights while I lived in France, the locals would throw things at me and call me Satan's Mistress, devil's worker, and other inaccurate names. It came to the point when I wouldn't even leave the house, so my father raised enough money to send me to the states, as of yet everything is running smoothly.
