Tefukono was a busy, busy bee lately. His new position as Battle Leader keeping him preoccupied with the swarming Fire Team members who wanted a piece of him for one reason or another, whether for just random battling, instruction, or even just an ear to listen to. If it were any other person, it'd probably have driven them mad, but no Tefukono. He relished the thought of being able to help any of his fellow pride members, from the smallest to the largest. It was his way of giving back to the pride and to his parents, who had given his life back to him.

Taking a rest from his ever growing responsibilities, Tefukono decided to go on a leisurely stroll outside the confines of the pride. Life on the outside was interesting to him, they had many different ideas of how to live their life and what strength truly was. He felt he could learn a thing or two from those who lived on the outside, even if it were only small things.

"The lands are quiet today," He said to himself, as he scanned his eyes over the plains before him, searching for another soul to speak to.

She was a bit of a wild card, a trickster of sorts. Boredom had set in and she was wandering. Safihi had always been a rogue, she had too much of a reputation to find a home, somewhere stable to stay. The leopardess never meant to hurt anyone, but he sometimes harsh sense of humour and her love for tricks didn't always gel with others. She paced along the dry ground, her eyes flicking from side to side, looking for something, someone, anything!

Wandering along aimlessly, she came across a figure in the distance, rust coloured, similarly to her. She cocked a brow gently calling across to the other leopard. "Heyy!"

Tefukono's ears perked up immediately as he heard the greeting from off in the distance. He looked around for a moment before he spotted the leopardess off in the distance. She sounded pleased to have found someone. Perhaps today would be a better day out in the Rogue Lands than he thought it would end up being.

He headed towards the leopardess at a pace that was far quicker than the leisurely stroll he had just been on. It was with a purpose this time, which always made him seem a tiny bit more threatening than it really was, not that he expected this leopardess to feel threatened by him. He was far too soft spoken for that.

"Hello!" He called, a sweet smile spreading across his features as the gap between himself and Safihi closed rapidly, "How're you today, Miss?"

She cocked her head to the side, a smirk spreading across her face. It made her look sly at times, even deceitful, but that was not the case. At least then, it was considered that some creatures were forewarned as to her slightly devilish temperment. Safihi however was not feeling particularly playful, the heat was taking more of a toll on her body than usual and she padded up to Tefukono confidently. What a polite male, she observed. Alot of them were polite yes, but alot were rude, arrogant, and gave her as good as they got, which she found slightly entralling. Her tail curled about her legs as she inspected Tefukono closer. "I'm pretty good thanks, yourself? My names Safihi." She nodded her head almost curtly.
