I vote 2 and 5 too.
But yeah, besides drawing, you can also play drawing games and whatnot. You have some tools that you'd use in Photoshop, such as layers, blending, uniting layers, etc.
But in order to gain access to the coolest options, you need to become a regular. You do that by drawing coo stuff and posting it. But in order to post stuff, you need the help of a regular who does that for you.
It's a vicious cycle. But it's fun if you're into drawing.

2&5 were my favorites, though I really like the first one. Just not much of a fan of the style.
M, I use the AF on Gaia. Seems to get me a lot of good stuff, most of the time.

I like #5... It seems very legend of zelda-esque. And if the cycle to get art is so vicious, I'm not sure I want to join.... Although I do want art for Xeg...

Well, that's only if you want to become a regular artist. If you just want art, then there's no problem.

I'm gonna be the black sheep and say #1 is my favorite, it's just so kawaii. Anyways I checked out iscribble myself, and I couldn't figure out how to use it. Is there supposed to be a drawing program built into the website or something?

Yes. I will note, though, that new members aren't allowed to draw until approximately 24 hours after joining. This is an Anti-Troll measure.
That in mind, to use iScribble to get awesome free art:
Sign up, confirm email, etc... Go to iscribble.net homepage click "start drawing" sign in let it load select a board on the right and join it let it load again Greet the people, and ask if they will draw your OC If yes, sign up for a spot (if applicable) (If no, try a different board) Wait some time for the people to draw it When it's done, take a screenshot or use the snipping tool with windows 7 to save the image Use MS Paint or something similar to edit and crop as necessary upload to photobucket or something post as you see fit
That's the ENTIRE process.

I'd like to get some art, but do not have a reference of any sort.
