Grant had been up exploring the forest one morning when he came across a stream he had never seen before. He decide to stop and catch some fish and maybe go for a nice swim, he was pretty fond of the water and was looking forward to a nice swim in the cool water. He caught a nice big fish and ate it, pleased at the delicious taste of the fish. After his lunch he curled up in a nice sunny patch and fell into a light sleep, his brain still active a little bit to keep alert for anyone around.

 Jumping through the tree tops, Blue jumped branch to branch slowly. He was chasing birds and was looking for his next meal. However most of the birds escaped from his grasp and he would often fall to the forest floor.
Currently he was near a river and stalking a small bird in the lower branches. He leaped—and promptly fell below to the forest floor as the weak branches snapped. "Oof!" He shouted as he landed on his back onto a soft pile of fallen leaves. Blue sighed as he watched the bird fly away into the distance.

Grant was woken up with a start when he heard something fall into a pile leaves near him. He slowly walked over to the leaves to see what had made all the noise. He saw a neat looking blue tiger, that must have been what had woken his light nap. "Hey do you need any help getting out of the leaves?" he asked a with a slight smile on his face as he stood and walked closer if the other needed some help.

Hearing the other tiger speak, Blue looked to his companion without moving the rest of his body. Honestly after the pain wore off, the leaves were actually a nice resting spot.
However as Blue isn't one to rest, He leaped up onto his stomach and feet and looked at Grant in the eyes with a cocky grin. "Nah, leaves aren't exactly something I can say I was proudly trapped in, if you know what I'm saying!"

The tiger smiled and nodded. "Yes i do know what your saying. Its rather silly thing to admit no??" He said with a smile as he sat down and looked at him. "Those do look comfy now at least, right?" He said with a lopsided smile as he looked around them. "What brings you out here?"

"Of course! Can you imagine the Great Blue, caught up in a bunch of leaves! I would be mocked for weeks, months!" He gave a laugh as he stood on his hind legs. He was hyper; though that wasn't something that was uncommon of Blue. "And I wouldn't be caught dead resting!"
"My name is Blue by the way, nice ta meet'cha! I'm here for a little snack. Trying to catch a little birdie."

Grant smiled at the hyper male. "My name is Grant nice to met you Blue. I'm afraid the bird you were trying to catch got away but maybe I can help you find another bird to catch." Grant said with a laugh, he already liked this other male alot. He could see them becoming friends really fast.

Blue pounced at nothing, swiping his forelegs in the air, attempting to catch an invisible insect of some sort. "Yeah, yeah, I saw that sucker fly away without a care when I was flat on my back!"
He placed his forelegs on the ground, standing firmly on the ground with all of his feet. Blue gave Grant an aspirated look: "You think you can catch these suckers? They're rather fast. Bet you can't do it!" A huge grin was plastered on his face. Nothing's better than a little friendly competition! He readied his body to pounce as he spoke, playfully swinging his striped tail in the air. "At least not better than me!"

Grant laughed at the challenge, " Oh I know i could catch a bird faster than you." He said with crooked smile. "In fact I bet the bird I catch will be bigger than the one you will catch." Grant twitched his dark blue tail and flexed his claws a bit getting ready to chase down the biggest bird he could find. "Lets makes this interesting if you catch a bigger bird then me i'll catch your dinner for you for the next week." He said with a smirk as he watched him to see if he liked his idea at all or not. "And what will you do if i win?" He asked with a smile as his tail flicked with interest.

"Oh yeah?" Blue dared with a cocky smile to his face. "If you win... I'll give you the name to a cute little tiger!"
Haha, if Grant accepted he had no idea what he was getting himself into. Almond wasn't someone that should be messed with such childish pranks. "She's really... uh pretty and that type of gross stuff. Deal?"

Grant smiled and though about the others offer. "Ok deal!" He said with a laugh. Then something struck him as odd, if the girl tiger was so great how come Blue was offering her up and not keeping her all to himself. "Wait...if this female tiger is so great then how come your so eager to give her up. Wouldn't you want to keep her all to yourself?" He asked as he slowly walked around the other male.

"Uhh... no reason. Not my type." Blue said as he looked at Grant in the corner of his eye. He kept his face away from view in attempt to hide his real expressions. Almond was a thorn in his side with her constant nagging. If he could get her back by tricking her into a date, Blue would take it.
"So which bird are we hunting? Jays? Mockingbirds?"

Grant raised an eyebrow "Oh really, well I don't quite believe but I have no evidence to support that theory so i'll just have to take your word for it." Grant looked over the other male again. "So what is your type?" He asked as he stretched a bit before there contest. "Ummm....How about Jay's I don't see to many in this area, so they will be harder to catch."

Blue raised an eyebrow at Grant's long sentence. "Woah slow down there buddy; I'm still weary from hunger."
Of course he was joking and he gave a small chuckle soon after. "Uh my type... I never thought of it really. I suppose anyone that can keep up with me!" A cocky grin- like any female could keep up with a tiger like himself! "Agreed, Jays are perfect then. So since it's only polite to exchange a question with a question, what about you? What's your type?"

Grant laughed "You do seem to have alot of energy, but I like that." Grant thought for a moment. "Hmmm...my type would have to be someone I could run around with and hunt with, and of course be good looking like myself." He said with a toothy grin. He stretched out his limbs a bit more making sure he was nice and limber. "So we will meet back here in a hour and see who has the biggest bird. That sound fair?"
