I beat my first level 75 grotto today on a long bus ride. Beat Fowleye for the first time. But I still haven't gotten any legacy bosses! I've been waiting for Baramos, partly because I'm replaying Dragon Warrior III at the same time , I'm about to fight Baramos, and I was geeking out at the prospect of fighting them in tandem.

That, and I was unable to attend the Zoma event.

I did get some Orichalcon in a blue chest yesterday, though. Tee hee.

I haven't been to many DQVC sales, even though I reserved DQIX and got it on the first day. My college Wi-Fi doesn't like the DS, and I had trouble working my head around my Wi-FI at home.
The ones I remember, though, are the summer sale, the slime sale, the scary sale, and most recently the ring sale and eye-wear sale.

EDIT: It seems that future DLC quests give out maps for other legacy bosses. Awesome.

Many of the Legacy bosses can only be unlocked through promotional events, the first of which was unlocking Zoma at a gamestop event in select stores. I had DQIX at the time and knew about the event, but I had a previous engagement that had been planned months in advance, so I couldn't go, even though a place near me was doing it.

I think that all of the legacy bosses that come with the game from the get-go are the Dragonlord, Baramos, Psaro, Nimzo, Murdaw, and Dholmagus. The rest have to be unlocked some other way.

The gamestop event varied from place to place, as Dragon Quest is still pretty underrated in the west. Based on what people have told me, some stores had a huge turnout with people of all ages attending, raffles, other promotional material, and the like. Others had hardly anything, if they didn't close early.
