Ming loved to explore and roam. Her family knew she would go off, she had to find something more to contain her rambunctious spirit. Whenever she left, she felt that nothing was holding her back. The light began to trickle across the morning sky and the sun began to rise. The Young cheetah, like usual was the first of her family to awaken. Her family tended to sleep much longer then her.
The pale cub was filled with enery yet again with the start of a new day. She lay there in her den waiting for something... possibly nothing... but once half of the sun was shining over the horizon now, filling the sky with beautiful pink, orange and a trickle of purple through out the sky; she knew she could lay any longer. Ming lethargicly rose to her paws stretching and shaking off the loose dirt out of her fur. Slowly stepping over her siblings and around her parents carefully to not wake them. Once out of the sanctity of her family's den, she took a deep breath embracing the fresh air of a new day.
Outside she lay upon the ground and watched the sun slowly rise. Once the sun was fully over the horizon she noticed her pelt was filthy. She began to clean herself but soon later she realized it was too dirty to clean with simple licking. Maybe a quick dip will help. She thought hopefully. Actually a drink wouldnt hurt either. So it was decided, she jumped to hr feet and trotted off toward the nearest watering hole for a morning drink and a quick cleaning to start off her day...

Bahatisha padded out proudly from her den this fine morning, and after achieving the ok from mom, headed out in search of some great adventure! She could hardly wait to see what sort of exciting risks awaited her in the great savannah today! She had left at the crack of dawn in an easily trackable direction, if needed, but she was having trouble running into... well, much of anyone, really. She supposed she could go risk-taking on her own, but that was much less exciting than when she did so with someone else!
But the sun was fully up now, and she had to do something fun. She hopped up onto a rock, which led to her feeling a need to hop upon a bigger rock. One step, then the next, and before long she was perched atop a tall rock (to a pup) and surveying the landscape for anyone else who might be willing to tempt fate with her.
"Hmmm, lessee... Savannah, grasses, tree..." she listed as she spun herself around. "Water hole... Someone!" she exclaimed happily. Not only that, but it appeared to be someone her size! She hopped back down the smaller stones, touched ground, and quickly headed that way, tail wagging. "Hey there!" she called from a distance as she approached, hoping that the individual was another risk-taker.

Ming continuously jumped off the rocks into the watering hole. She was having a blast. Her siblings were such lazy cheetahs, especially Lin. Ming couldn’t understand how she could just lay and roll around in grass all day. Her parents didn’t understand her either, but she didn’t care she could play by herself all day, chase butterflies, watch clouds, even run in circles. She swam her way to shore and shook the excess water off before lying in the sun. She had to move from rock to rock before she found one big enough.
Just as Ming was settling, hr ears began twitching; she heard a shout in the distance. She stood to her feet and stared out in the savannah. She saw it! It was a small thing; she climbed her way down and began to run in attempts to meet it half way.
As she grew closer she got a more clear view of who was running toward her. What an odd-looking cheetah. Ming thought meekly. She smiled regardless; it was someone to play with! Ming was excited; she didn’t have to play with her siblings or alone, nope not today. She slowed down as she was near it, “Hi! I’m Ming.” The pale cheetah cub was always friendly, even with her encounter with the massive blue lion. She giggled at the thought of it; he was nothing but a big softy. But this was way better it was someone her own size! “What’s your name?” She had the biggest smile across her face and her tone showed her excitement.
