 custom slots: fullcustom rules
 the customs form has changed slightly; please use the updated form.
you may apply for up to two customs.
Please put both of them in the same post. Most likely, both customs will not be accepted at the same time unless it is somehow integral to an rp plot, or if you're buying one for a friend, or something similar.
please do not eyeball/copy the shop art to use as a reference.
If you want, go to deviantART or whatever and google “dog template” for about a million things you can use. Just make sure to give credit where credit is due, and still fill out the form.
Maybe later I’ll make something you guys can color. do not directly base a custom off a pet (that you did not design) from this shop or another one. you may use someone else’s krokotas as reference only with their permission.Also, no more than 50% similarity or so. there are a limited amount of slots available, and they are awarded colorist's choice.Maybe eventually it will be a more fair raffle style, but I make no promises. |3 payment must be sent within 48 hours of receiving the slot.The custom will not be started until payment is received. payment will be accepted on my part after you have approved of the image of your krokotas.the large image and cert will be sent after you finish the trade. rare ranks are not allowed for customs.Shaman and Nightwalker are impossible. Rogue and Elder are extremely unlikely. In fact, all ranks are kind of unlikely, due to the next rule… a ranked custom should be rp-appropriate, and will cost an extra rank fee.
You get a Hunter if you want a Hunter to RP, not because you think they look pretty.
This does not apply to the specific “rank custom” in which you buy a rank for a preexisting Krokotas, but rather for complete customs. prices are not set in stone, and may be higher or lower depending on the complexity of the order.
You will be PMed the final price of the order, if your custom is accepted. if it is an rp slot, all accessories/edits/colors must fall under what is “natural” and “allowable” for krokotas.
cosplays are allowed, but more as the “idea” or “theme” of a character.
Since clothing isn’t allowed. Check out the Owner's List for pre-existing cosplays. Both rp and non-rp slots will be opened every time.
How many are available depends on how many applications there are for each. “growing” customs have a max of three stages: pup → adolescent → adult.
“non-growing” customs will be adults for rp slots, but can be any (permanent) stage for non-RP slots.
there will (usually) be a slot open purely for a rank change, for those who are too lazy to rp.
Those are available only for pre-existing Krokotas. Edits will cost extra (unless it’s just one or two tiny ones). apply for a custom slot here, not in the thread.
Only when open, of course. :3
you do not have to stick to the exact form, if you would rather arrange the information in your own way.
Just make sure to include all relevant information, the more the better! Also, reference pix are super-duper welcome. if you post custom info and then change your mind about what you want, it's okay to edit your custom order.

 basic: no edits whatsoever - just colors.
Non-growing: 10k
Growing: 25k
common: a few small edits - additions to the line art, but no changes (save for chewed up ears).
Non-growing: 25k+
Growing: 50k+
uncommon: multiple small edits, or a few medium ones.
Non-Growing: 75k+
Growing: 100k+
rare: multiple medium or large edits.
Non-Growing: 150k+
Growing: 250k+

rank: a paid rank change for a pre-existing krokotas.
Outcast, Hunter, Knight, Chief: 25k
Rogue, Elder: 100k
Nightwalker, Shaman: nope
pup: a custom pup in a recent breeding.
you must have the consent of the parents, if you are not an owner.
only one extra custom pup per litter.
custom pups are commissions after the breeding has been accepted, not before.
Try to make it before the pups are schedules to grow to the adolescent stage, so it's not weird. custom pups cost at least 25k, but potentially up to 50k with edits from mommy and daddy.
Colorist’s choice for colors (it is a pup from a breeding, after all), although you are welcome to make suggestions. if you are an owner, you can custom a pup in order to keep two from the litter.
pack: cheap custom Krokotas for packs to give away in events.
you must have an official pack or a quest pack.
adult krokotas are 5k, and pups are 15k.
Pups will grow automatically into unranked adults, unless the owners RP them or whatever. edits are allowed if your pack has "pack edits."
only general color suggestions are allowed; no specific color requirements.
So you can't go into super detail like you can with normal customs, but you can say, "Hey, I want them to look like huskies." a pack may custom up to five krokotas at a time.
the krokotas must be given away for free in whatever sort of a pack event you want.
do not abuse this by commishing cheap krokotas and then just giving them to your friends.

levels of edits
small edits: chewed up ears, simple accessories (simple jewelry, feathers, etc.), expression changes, etc.
medium edits: complicated accessories (ribbons, complex jewelry), altered hair, slightly altered line art (missing limbs, bite out of tongue), etc.
large edits: super complicated accessories, crazy altered hair, wacky altered line art.
what is “natural”?
body colors: gray, brown, black, white, anything “earthy.”
No bright colors (grass green won’t work, but army green would be okay). hair colors: typically very light colors, but also very dark colors.
Usually, no bright colors. eye/tongue/rib colors: anything goes.
markings: spots, stripes, patches, anything natural, etc.
Nothing super designy like flowers or stars, unless they can look “natural,” i.e. I knew a lab-mix that had a 5-point star in the middle of her chest. eyes, tongue, and ribs must match. No exceptions allowed.
Except for heterochromic situations, but those are rare. Even then, ribs and tongue would be one color, and not a mix of the two. Or…would they? >___>
what is “allowable”?
simple cloth accessories: ribbons, scarves, some leggings, etc.
No outright clothing like shirts or pants. Ever. most jewelry: bracelets, necklaces, piercings, etc.
Jewelry should look rather simple, and not have “designy” elements to it like flowers or dolla-dolla bling. anything existing within nature, pretty much.
accessories or combinations thereof that will closely resemble an existing rank are NOT allowed
Rams’ horns are only allowed on Knights, bears’ claws are only allowed on Chiefs, etc.
It is possible to bend this rule, but we’ll have to talk about it and you’ll have to have a darned good reason. anything showing human ownership, like a collar.
Currently, humans are not involved in the metastory. a lot of these rules go out the window when rp is involved.
If RP can explain it away (and Mikey-chan approves), then it’ll be allowed.

Also, rank accessories are those accessories that are already included on a rank. Hunter: animal furs and ribbons (in the tail). Knight: rams' horns and war paint. Chief: bear fur w/claws, headband with feathers and fox tails. Rogue usually come with tattoos, and y'all don't need to worry your pretty little heads with Nightwalkers and Shamans. :3
