I am sick of people saying that you need to work on your style so it fit what they what. I recently did some avi art for a person. All he said was 'draw me cute'. I said that I will try and I failed the first time I did it. The redid it and it look cute in my opinion. But when he got it, he said it was not cute enough and sent me picture of big eyes and a "CHILD". I am not going to agree with him I do not find that cute in the since of a man.

Was this requested by a fangirl? Cuz it sure sounds like it. It is sad indeed that bara is still the underdog, and this "kawaii" scene is still considered the norm, along with ugly tranny bishounen and fully grown women that look like anorexic preteens with granny tits. Then again, this is why the anime scene is actually dying out, albeit slowly. Nothing is changing for the better, it's the same cliche'd crap with no emphasis on sexy
