With Halloween in the air, you've been invited to a huge house party! Located in a large mansion in the gated community, for some it will be there first time being welcomed in an area like this. But the catch is...you must come in costume. This costume must cover your face, be it with a mask, hood, or what have you. At midnight, everyone will unmask and you will see the people you've spent the night with. A chance at anonymity could lead to some surprising and unlikely connections. So costume up and come join the fun! [You know me, post to join, let's just have fun! <3]

and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me... Yes, party's were definitely his scene. So him coming to this party wasn't the least bit unusual. However, the emaciated sableye had never been to a costume party. And the idea was very intriguing to him. But he didn't own any costumes! So he spent most of the day trying to find the "perfect costume for that night. What had he come up with? Well, a panda of course.
The suit was full bodied, with a head. Almost like a school's mascot. He found it to be the funniest thing and whenever he caught his reflection in the mirror he would laugh to himself. He also loved the idea of anonymity. Many times people either loved him for being Salem, the famous rock star, or hated him for being Salem, the druggie. But with a giant panda head over his face, he was just a panda. Just a simple panda with no life problems.
The party was already thriving in the house and in his veins. He was pumped full of his precious drug and dancing in the middle of what seemed to be the living room. As he danced he looked around at the costumes and it all felt so funny. His body wiggled and writhed, covered by the strange costume. His sexuality was completely hindered, but his body image issues were also effectively suppressed. He could get used to being a panda...
[bahahaha, I'm loving this panda thing xD]

_________ Sin Takahashi entered the large mansion. Sliping through the large doors. Unnoticed in a large group of people in costumes and masks. As they broke apart to separate parts of the party, Sin was exposed. She wore what to be a torn wedding dress. Ripped and ancient looking. She also wore a torn veil on the back of her head. Dead and dried blue flowers attached to the beret. Sin's pasty white skin was now a light blue, adding a rotting corpse appearance to her. Torn laced gloves were on her hands, missing the fingers. She also wore sheer leggings, which were also torn. The absol also wore clean white high heels on her feel, adding an inch to her original height. Sin was dressed as Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. But unlike in the movie, she wore a mask. A skull mask that hid part of her face. Only her eyes could be seen. But she wore contacts, hiding the true red color beneath blue contacts.
Sin's hair cascaded down her backside, teased, tangled, and slightly curled. She temporarily dyed it light blue, so she looked more like corpse bride. Sin sighed as she stepped into the mansion, where many people stood. She was shy. And afraid something bad would occur during the party. After all, wherever she stood, danger was bound to occur.
Sin sighed and gripped onto the dried bouquet of flowers. The bouquet included babies breath, roses, lilies, and some forget-me-nots. She walked deeper into the party, slipping through the dancing bodies. She wanted to be off in a corner, separated from all these people. Sin was too shy to interact with anyone. She raised her gentle hand to the bone mask upon her face, pressing it closer to her skin. Avoiding from losing it in the crowd. She slipped over to a lounge like area, where antique furniture stood. She made way to a black cushioned chair that appeared comfortable to her. So she elegantly sat on the cushion, avoiding everyone. But silently watching them from afar. Admiring their unique costumes. She noticed every one was wearing a mask, hood, or something that covered their face. She closed her eyes, waiting for time to fly by.

Halloween! But she dressed up everyday. Not exactly with a mask, but still, it meant lolita was a no-no for this day. Miyabi had briefly considered a marshmallow ghost-sheet, but under-dressing was also too out-of-character for her. In fact, deciding took all morning, but Miyabi was positive it was the right choice. She had always loved cosplaying, after all, it was just another step further to go to a Halloween party sporting a red pompom on her head, bunny ears, and oversized sandals...
The pompom danced and bobbed in front of her eyes that peeked from behind her mask, swaying inquisitively when she stopped. As expected, there was a good amount of ghoulish outfits, blanched and tattered compared to her moe sleeves and trailing sash of red. The ears and wings had already knocked several people off balance, it looked like she was in for a cumbersome night. At least she had no obligations she act princessy, like the hime-lolita outfits require. Time to get some sugar and find something interesting to do~
That is, until she saw it - A smiling black and white suit -
"PANDAAAA!" Miya half-tripped in her haste to squeeze the costume into a hug, her long sleeves wrapping around the soft fur. "Panda panda! How cuute, so soft and furry..." She jumped back and smiled up at him, her face shining even as she tangled herself with her own sleeves. "What a nice costume! I'm Gurdy for the night, nice to meet you...kupo!"

·» »-(¯`v´¯)-» C h o u m o Nyj ❥ Clad in red, the blonde nervously went from hopping her steps to shuffling by people. She had chosen Red Riding Hood for the night, though wanted to be Alice at first chose other wise since her hair refused to show any cooperation. Instead it was restrained under a red caped hood, the only way she could really think of hiding her trademark idiot hairs. Her exchanged color eyes closed as she neared the Mansion, sighing softly while listening to the quiet clicking of her red shoes on the concrete disappear under the sound of loud music & people's voices. Since the perty she was accompanying required a mask, she had gotten a half mask in a simple red tied around her head, only covering the top half, exclding her eyes which were switched to a normal, plain brown. Blue seemed too popular of an eye color to her, & brown seemed just right despite it's lack of ability to interest much of anyone. "Well, here goes nothin'" She chimed softly, just at the door now & creaked it open, peeking in first them & nimbly as possibly slipped inside to the party. It was odd being at a party without knowing a single soul in the room, but all the costumes were very interesting, each holding a creepy, or cute look to them. Instead of dancing she found herself instead dazing off in the crowd at each costume, her own hands preoccupied by a white basket which actually held a treat of lemon poppy seed muffins, pumpkin bread & bags of candy corn for anyone daring enough to question her basket or even talk to her. After all, she wasn't selfish & wouldn't mind sharing her home made treats, well... the candy corn she bought, but she bag them up into clear plastic bags with red ribbons herself.

and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me... Salem continued looking over the costumes, he notice one girl dressed as the Corpse Bride who seemed strangely out of place and timid. And a girl dressed as little red riding hood. Many of the costumes, though, he didn't recognize. But maybe that was half the fun.
The next thing he knew, he saw a rather excited girl in one of those unrecognizable costumes coming his way through those eye holes of the panda head. She grabbed him in a hug, seeming rather excited that he was dressed as a panda. The sableye just began laughing, almost giggling. She was so cute and childish, he couldn't help it.
"Yes, nice to meet you 'Gurdy'," he said, the laugh still in his voice. "But what exactly is a Grudy?" he questioned, he honestly couldn't recognize the costume, he wasn't a big video gamer. He would play maybe rarely but really he was more of a social creature.

Miyabi bounced to her feet, pleased that the hug had been received well. She could recall a number of glomps that hadn't... With rosy cheeks glowing from the chandelier lights, she proceeded to dance around on her sandaled feet, waving her ridiculous sleeves excitedly and swatting things in the process. It was fun to dress and act out as her inner child-self for a change, something her usual attire didn't always allow.
"Gurdy is Gurdy! That is, she's a Moogle from Final Fantasy. A bunny-looking one that sells Chocobos. I'm no good at games where you have to fight or think, but pretty is pretty. You know, not everyone can pull off a panda, so you must be very lucky to be in that category," She put on a serious look, or as serious as it gets with a fierce scowl, "I couldn't, I'm too short and uncoordinated. I could do...a penguin, maybe? I'm 5'4", but if I added padding..." After considering for a while, the light in her eye gleamed suspiciously gremlin-like. It was the time and place for a little mischievous, after all.
"Let's go around and jump on people! Well, I'm not very scary as it is, but if we sneak up on them with pitchforks, I'm sure it'll work! And to start off, our target is...that girl, Little Red Riding Hood! She seems to have candy, that's always good." She skipped away to go "borrow" a few pitchforks and other accessories from the scarecrows up as decoration, careful to keep herself distanced from the target. Miya snuck back and presented the panda-man with her pilferage, dropping her voice to a furtive whisper while sneaking glances across the hall, "She hasn't seen us at all. Let's go!"

════════════════════════════ Boomer "I'll get closer to you, step-by-step. Our very own Sweet Holiday." Normally, Boomer wasn't the sort of person to attend a big party, but this time around he thought it'd be a nice change of pace to join in on something so fun. He casually strutted up to the large mansion, not finding anything unusual about this kind of setting. He used to tutor several wealthy students and without realizing, had grown adjusted to visiting such formal places. The tall man sported a simple costume which suited him quiet well. A dog, which seemed less noticeable compared to some of the other costumes he saw upon entering the threshold. He wandered around at first, trying to figure out if he knew anyone here. It was like a game, with everyone wearing their masks. Not that he expected to even recognize someone even if they were familiar. His attention could only stay focused on the people for so long before he started to search for food. Parties like this always had snacks and refreshments, right? The white tail swayed behind him with each step as if he were wagging it, and the ears on top of the hood pointed straight up. His mask kept its perfectly coy smile, greeting anyone who looked his way with a certain sly aura. 'I wonder how I'm supposed to eat without showing my face..?' He thought to himself with his eyes scanning through the crowd. A few interesting costumes did catch his eye, but he hadn't bothered to stop and socialize yet. And actually, he wasn't sure how to go about it, either. Would it be wrong of him to only speak with the most stunning of creatures? Of course, that would be rude. Still, not a single costume he had spotted so far could be summed up as 'boring'.
The man stopped in his tracks, dropping his thoughts of food in order to focus on the people around him. The more he considered it, he hated the idea of having to solve the puzzle of keeping his identity a secret while stuffing his mouth full of treats. Now all he needed was an opening, a chance to jump in and start a conversation. Even with his costume on, his warm personality and polite behavior shown through, which naturally tended to draw a few people his way. Raising his right paw, he scratched and tilted his head. "Hmm...So, where should I start..?" Boomer's voice, muffled by the mask, asked aloud while he tried to target a "victim".
((Eep, I've never just posted to join. /fail :'o))✘✘✘

_________ Sin Takahashi sighed heavily as her eyes dully looked at the people at the party, dancing and grinding on the dance floor. Moving to the music. She wasn't much of a dancer. The only dance she did was ballet. But she was too shy to perform. Sin was a shy creature. She didn't socialize unless someone approached her. She had no friends. Well, except maybe, possibly Dendera. The man who saved her life. The thought of Dendera warmed her heart. She could help but smile at the thought of the Egyptian gun maker. Sin shook her head, removing his thoughts through the movement in her head. Sin felt abnormal ever since she met him and it made her feel weird. Sin sighed heavily once more and her eyes scanned over the costumes. There were lots of traditional Halloween costumes. Zombies, Werewolves, Frankensteins, Witches, Skeletons. Then there were some quite unique ones. Such as the panda that wasn't too far away from her. A Gurdy. A Little Red Riding Hood. And an adorable looking dog. And SIn came as the Corpse Bride from one of her favorite movies of all time.
Sin then heard her stomach twist and ache in her stomach. Roaring like a tiger in her tummy. She was hungry. She couldn't recall the last time she ate. She sighed. Her red eyes, which were blocked with blue contacts, looked to the refreshments table. The snacks looked appetizing and delicious. The cupcakes especially. They looked professionally made. The cream frosting perfectly swirled onto the mini cake. Accented with halloween decor. Like fake spiders, eyes, worms, fingers. She licked her lips with hunger. Sin was drawn to them. Instantly, she stood up and moved toward the table of snacks and goodies. She didn't walked, she glided. Moving smoothly onto the floor to the table. Her hands instantly reached for a cupcake that was chocolate with vanilla frosting. On it was a fake eye and it made her chuckle. Her eyes looked at the treat, curiously. How was she supposed to eat it with her mask on. She slid her skull mask off to the side of her face, making it cover half of it. She took the cupcake, peeled the paper, and sunk her white teeth into the soft, delicious, chocolate cupcake. A dab of frosting rested on the tip of her nose.
After eating the whole cupcake, she looked down to the tip of her nose, looking cross eyed at first. Her finger tip wiped it off and then stuck it onto her tongue. feeling the sweetness dangle on her tastebuds. Sin smiled and then replaced the mask completely onto her face. Holding only the paper of the cupcake, she tossed it into the wastebin beside the table. Score. The balled up paper landed into the bag. She smiled. Her head spun to face the dancefloor. Her tangled dyed blue locks moving along with her head, loosely. Sin then glanced to her side, seeing a male dressed in a dog costume. She couldn't help but smile. But he looked adorable. She blushed softly. She wondered what he looked like beneath the mask. She shrugged and turned her attention back to the dancefloor. Still standing at the refreshment table. She felt like an outsider. Maybe she would leave earlier. Before midnight.

The loud moan of the doors opening made her a little scared and creeped out. Seeing no one opening the doors, she became suspicious as to how they opened and closed. Maybe they were automatic doors with sensors nearby. And when she approached the doors, they triggered the doors to open. Zoey stepped inside, finding herself near a crowd of people in costumes. All wearing masks or hoods or eye patches, covering a part of their faces or completely. Zoey stood there in her cute Sneasel cosplay outfit. Her favorite pokemon was of course, Sneasel. She was a pokemon geek and knew all of the pokemon by heart. But her most favorite was the Sneasel. She didn't know why. She just did. Before she arrived to the scene of the party, she was at home, preparing for the party.xxxxxShe had received an invitation and was ordered to wear a costume and a mask of some sorts. Zoey wore a dark blue strapless dress, a golden jewel sewn into the center of the chest, between her small breasts. On the small of her back were three red feathers that poked from her back. Resembling the Sneasel's tail feathers. On her hands were dark blue mittens. Only two blades came form each mitten. On her feet were dark blue boots, two blades at the ends of them. Zoey had to be careful not to hurt anyone with her shoes. She wore a red bandanna, to cover her nose and mouth. She styled her hair so that the right side, her hair formed a dark blue ear. On the other, was a large, red feather. Resembling its feather-like ear. On her forehead was a golden jewel that was pasted onto her skin. Matching the jewel on her dress.xxxxxZoey looked cute. But that was not her intention. She had to get away from her apartment and take a break from studying. She had studied so much that she needed her brain to relax. Maybe make a new friend. She had none in this city and she was feeling awfully lonely. Zoey slipped into the crowd of dancing people. She was a bit hungry. So her objective was to reach the snack table and nibble on some food. Her feet carried her through the crowd of dancing and grinding people. Successfully making it out without losing her bandanna. xxxxxAs Zoey reached the snack table, her eyes caught onto a dead looking chick which made her jump and yelp. Startled. But as she stared at the girl, she recognized the costume from a Tim Burton movie. Corpse Bride. It was beautifully made and captured the essence of goth. Zoey's eyes trailed on a male dressed as a dog. She smiled beneath the red bandanna. It was cute. She turned to the snack table, which was stocked with large quantities of snacks and appetizers. Finding herself staring at the brownies. Her tongue dragged over her lips, her eyes sparkling with desire. She loved brownies. Hesitant, her bladed hand reached for one, poking the small chocolate cake piece with a blade.xxxxxRaising the brownie to her face, she had a new problem. how was she to eat this without revealing her identity? With a shrug, she lifted her bandanna partially, and slipped the claw, with the brownie shish-kabobed through it, underneath her bandanna and placing the yummy treat into her mouth for a bit. She retracted her hand from her bandanna and began to munch happily on her treat. Her red eyes closed and she smiled as she chewed. She made soft moaning noises, approving of the taste of the brownie.

and maybe....you're gonna be the one that saves me... Salem smiled at the bubbly girl. She was definitely enough to keep him entertained. "I'm only five-three myself!" chimed the petite rocker. He'd always been short, but it only seemed to add to his feistyness. He once again found himself laughing as the combee instantly concocted a scheme to frighten another party goer.
The sableye took one of the plastic pitch forks into his hands giving a devious wink to his co-conspirator. Slowly, he approached the smoochum from behind and in one swift coordinated movement he kicked her heels out from under her, sending her into a fall. But of course quickly caught her from behind, no laughing hysterically.
Yes, he did so love pranks. He was hopeful the the girl was receptive, more often than not people became very angry at him for any type of prank he pulled. Though he never really considered the consequences which was probably part of why they got angry.

·» »-(¯`v´¯)-» C h o u m o Nyj ❥ Completely unaware of the oncoming attackers, Choumo merely watched the party unfold with an oddly pleased smile, one that would possibly make much anyone cringe or wonder what it was she was even smirking about. Though simply it was just the fact she was happy to see everyone having fun, even if she wasn't actually involved, & she wasn't much of one to launch herself in a crowd either. She was taught better than that, then again, seemed in this world it would've been better that she did so rather than kept to herself. Especially at a party. Just as the thought was sinking in she felt her legs give out from powerful force knocking at her heels, & fell backwards, her own basketed treats hopping from the basket & littering the floor, leaving little left inside the basket itself. What came out of it was stepped on or just narrowly escaped being mashed under the crowd of feet. If anything, that hurt her the most. All the work she put into them was just wasted, & everyone looked at her as if she'd just commited a crime.
It wasn't until she felt herself being held up that she recalled the culprit who did this must the person holding her up from falling. Somewhere in between anger & sadness, she pushed herself up away the fuzzy feeling creature, & turned to face a panda, but nonetheless still was upset even if it was a little cute. "Wh... Why did you do that?" It wouldn't be surprising if she wasn't heard under the loud music, her own voice soft & trembling as that horrible choking feeling worked up at same the time tears did. She hated it. Why did she have to be so sensitive, it was just food. Without saying anything more she bent down to her knees, scooping up the reminants of her hard worked treats, fighting back the overwhelming urge to cry over it. It was silly. It was just food. No reason to cry. No reason to be upset. But she was, & she couldn't help it.
