 The town functions as a resort because it snows year round. The constant cold temperatures are not due to the location of the town, which is somewhat polar, but actually because of the town's proximity to the Northern Crater, where the planet uses a large amount of Mako to try to heal itself.

Upon appearing at the small, rather serenity looking village of Icicle Resort, Sephriea quickly ran in to the still abandon home behind the Inn to the left.Slipping out a key from her satchel, she quickly opened the door and headed inside, Kadaj soon following in and shutting the door.
"This was where my mother was born." She smiled, running into the house, she loved it here for some reason. She and Aerith had come here at one time hoping to find Cloud there, with no luck, of course. "Come here.." She pointed over to the two large screens and pressed the play button. " You give me you're opinion after you watch this. "This here is my grandma and grandpa that I never got to meet.."
The screen began to play the very recordings of Aerith, 20th day after birth.
"Ifalna: Video again? You just got through taping!"
Gast: "Please don't say it that way. It's our lovely daughter, both yours...and mine! Don't you want to capture her childhood on videotape?"
Ifalna: If you keep doting on her like that, she won't grow up to be strong..Aerith is different from other children.I wonder what dangers await her.."
Gast: "Never say that! I will protect you and Aerith no matter what!! You and Aerith are my only treasures. I'll never let you go!!"
Ifalna:"I feel so much better now, darling. If I hadn't met you, I..." The two hug, suddenly there is a knock at the door..
Gast: "Who could that--I was just about to..Damn!! How dare they intrude on our 'private time' together!"
Ifalna:"I'll send them away."
Gast: "Yes, at once!!"
Ifalna: "Who the devil?" She walks to the door.. "It,It's them!!" The women in red runs and hides her way behind Gast, where two ShinRa soldiers and Hojo barge in.
Hojo: "Heh,heh,heh....I've been searching for you,Ifalna...or should I say, Cetra! Long time no see, Professor Gast!""
Ifalna: "Hojo..How did you know?"
Hojo: "Believe me, I had to turn over a stone or two to find you. Two years I waited...That's how much I wanted this new sample...ha,ha,ha."
Gast:"..New sample? You don't mean Aerith?!" As the man says this, the guards aim there weapons at him.
Hojo:"Hmm, Aerith? What a nice name...Ha,ha,ha.."
Gast: "That's it! I'm severing all ties with the ShinRa.Hojo, Please leave." Ifalna stands and kneels in front of Hojo. "Please, Aerith has nothing to do with it! All you want s me, right?"
Hojo: "I'll need all of you for my experiment. You understand don't you, Professor Gast? We can change the future of the planet!" At this time, Gast kneels to comfort Ifalna.
Gast: "Don't worry, Ifalna. I'll take care of this!"
Hojo: "Please don't put up a fight. I don't want any harm to come to my precious sample." Hojo turns toward the camera. "Mmm? What a funny looking camera. Guard! Destroy it!"
The screen goes black, though the sound is clear.
Hojo: "Be careful with her!! Ha,ha,ha..."
Gast: "Wh..what are you doing, Professor!? Ifalna! Take Aerith and run!!" Gunfire erupts. "Eyaaah..Darling..!!"
Hojo: Oh, and uh..Don't forget the child! Hmm, a video? The Ancients..Weapon!? Heh,heh,heh,..A mountain of treasure! Thank you Professor..Ha,ha,ha.." The video ends..
Kadaj turned away from the screen, looking toward Sephriea. "That's Hojo? ....Sorry. "
"Yes..He destroyed many lives. He hunted for mother all her life, and did things no other man on the planet would do..He is evil.." Moving to sit down on the floor, she patted the rug for him to come sit. "You see..That was a family, Grandpa had a goal in his life, to protect his two most important people...You're important to me, Kadaj..And I know my mother would accept you, she's really forgiving..."
Kadaj looked away from the girl, he didn't move to sit next to her. All this soft talk, it just didn't suit him...but at the same time, he..wanted to be accepted..
"Can you at least give her a chance? We can go talk to her when we find her, if you want, we can ask her to meet somewhere alone so you don't have to worry about anyone else bothering you.."
"Fine. I'll go along with you're plan, but the moment he shows up, I'm gone."
"Really?! THANKS!!" Sephriea got up, tacking him into a giant hug, which ended in knocking him completely over, and her falling into a fit of laughter. Kadaj broke out into a soft laugh, and for once it wasn't full of insanity, but a true laugh. Something he hadn't done often, and only something this little girl could seem to bring out in him...
(( Never doing that again. My NECK..>< Looking up every second to type that up while I went through it on the game. Lol. Ow..))

Jihl Nabaat was waiting for Ultimecia whom appeared to be taking her time going through the portal but when she finally came out she let out a sigh. "My mistake, I thought this was the place with only an inn." Ultimecia walked up to the doors of a building that read 'inn' and walked inside, leaving Jihl out in the cold weather.
As Ultimecia walked up to the counter, she realized that Jihl was still outside but was too drained of her magic to think anything of it so she merely let it go by. Odds are though, Jihl had never seen snow before.
When Jihl lived in Coocoon, they didn't have things such as snow so seeing it here was surely a big deal to her.
“It's like the magic skill blizzard based upon my analysis, a very fine water particle that has been frozen.” Jihl smiled as she adjusted the glasses that were now on her face and looked to the portal wondering if it would ever shut. The longer it stood open like that, the riskier it would become for someone to step through it. “Perhaps I should warn Ultimecia of this.” Jihl took long strides through the snow to the inn doors and opened them slowly. The wood doors were new to her and she wasn't entirely sure how to handle them.
Ultimecia turned around from her conversation with the relaxed Inn-keeper and smiled “Finally. I've been inside this man's mind placing memories in it. Don't be alarmed, he now thinks we saved his life on more than one occasion and is giving us free rooms, isn't that right?” Ultimecia turned to the man who now seemed ever so gracious. “Our room is right down the hall so let's be off.” Ultimecia smiled and was already on her way when Jihl spoke up.
“You left the portal open.”
Ultimecia nodded and continued on her merry way. “It's no concern of ours whether Zell comes here or not, either way, he'll suffer the same fate which is death.” Ultimecia teleported herself through a door which was apparently there room so with nothing else to say, Jihl followed.

In the middle of no where among the snowy plains far behind the town of Icicle Inn, where many were lost after there snow boarding game if they wandered to far off.A black fiery Unicorn figure stumbled in the snow, although it couldn't be seen by her darn fur and flaming flowing mane, crimson red blood slowly made it's way down the dark unicorns head, dripping into the snow below her. After the many times she had slammed her head into the rocky surface of the wall inside the cave it was amazing she was even still conscious and standing! Her form shifted again, turning into the women most knew as Unisha, her long pink locks falling over her shoulders as she dropped to the ground. Then just as quickly, she changed again, it was like a strange projection of her pink, innocent side to the dark figured she was to be come by the curse of the Jenova cells. She wore darker clothes in this form, her eyes glowing red once more..

Jake slowly decended behind the Black horse, not sure of what to do, then suddenly she seemed to go back to normal, which he was relieved about, but then suddenly she, the Jenova cells, they changed her appearence he grunted "Unisha! Get a hold of yourself! This isn't you, don't let that monster take you away!" He yelled, Jenova was REALLY getting on his bad side, not that she was exactly on his good side, but still

~"Who knew..Such a holy creature could be taken so easily...by me." ~ A taunting voice echoed into Jakes mind before it went away again, the only sound was a soft laugh left behind.
The darker figure growled, clenching her fists. "...No....I..won't be.." She slowly turned around to the man, her eyes narrowing a moment then the glowing red suddenly changes from the crimson color of blood, to the gentlest icy blue the moment they rested onto Jake's form. Again her form swiftly changed to the gentle pure form he had seen and that everyone knew of. "....Jake..make it stop..!" Her voice was pleading, and terrified! This was not her world, she wasn;t meant to be here, and if given the chance of going back, she never would be able to, they would never allow such a danger there.

((Very bad language Jake, very bad! Oh wait, you're talking to Jenova... Worse language! That's what she deserves! Lol XD))
Jake growled at Jenova in his mind, hadn't he expelled her shut the F*** up! he yelled in his mind at the being he'd never again call his mother, then he got ready for an attack at first, only defensively, he had no intention on fighting her, then saw her eyes turn back to normal, his own widening slightly as he walked quickly toward her, putting his hands on her shoulders "it's gonna be alright, just stay with me..." he said to her, obvious concern in his voice as his right arm began to act up little, maybe he could help?

This time, Jenova's voice echoed out into the sound of the wind. "Expelling me is not...possible. " They both would hear her laughing but never seen the figure.Her presence lingers on for a moment longer, before completely disappearing again.Unisha shudders at the sound of her voice, she never would have thought she herself would have even had that creature even come close to her, and now..this.
The young women rested a hand to her head as it gave off a soft glow, the cuts and gashes hidden mostly by her long bangs healing up,her energy began to return as well, then the cold air set into the womens delicit figure sending shivers through out her body.. "..B..bad..place t..to..come...wasn't..it?!"

Jake simply shakes his head at the voice, the one he'd never again listen to, he himself wasn't too cold, but he was wearing a jacket kinda, he sighed and his head went down, s his wing suddenly came from his back and encircled around her, making it more warm for her, in fact, it'd probably be really cozy and warm even as strange as it may seem! "sorry if it's a little creepy, but I don't have a blanket handy... And it's the least I could do, I should've stopped him from taking you and now... Now you share the curse..." he said with a sigh, he couldn't do anything, but still, he had just gotten away so easily! It made him somewhat angry... Not at the man, but at himself for letting it happen!
((Lol, why give her a jacket, when you can do something as fancy as this? XD))

Unisha blinked up at him, then her eyes drifted to the large blackened wings that encircled her. Instead of being creeped out as he may have thought, she just smiled and giggled softly. "That's not wierd at all. They're...kind of pretty. " She said, at his last words it made her think, he was there, why did he come? They had never even spoken to one another tell before she was taken! And it was just a brief conversation. Maybe he ..no that was a silly thought. Unisha stood up slowly, her gentle, fun nature coming back to her. "I can do that too. But I can't seem to fly if I have the wings in this form, I'm not sure why! We should get back to Midgar and find help there though.Rinoa's still there and I believe the strange man with cat ears may be captured with him now..Gosh I feel bad..I just left them..then again, I wasn't myself! " She then stepped back a few from him. "This might be weird to you.." The small pink dots at her head again gave off a gentle glow as her form shifted into that of the white majestic winged Unicorn.

Jake glanced at her "you... Think so?" he asked when she talked about his wings then turned his attention to her "never thought I'd hear someone say "wierd to me," if anyone symbolizes wierd it'd probably be me" he said, though, he was smiling softly, he even lsughed a bit then saw her transform "hey, as long as you can deal with the strange arm and wing, and evil cells, I don't think this is a big deal, in fact, it's pretty cool" he said with a slight grin then heard her voice "coming back? I wasn't really much help, it was you who broke through the barrier after all..." he said with a slight shrug as his wing returned to behind him, seeing as she wouldn't really need the warmth "heh, maybe it'd be less creepy if I had two wings, though, I only have one" he said with a slight smile

Some had all kinds of colors to them, and yes even black ones like yours. But they weren't evil, just like you. As for help, You came! That's all. I mean..you don't even know me..So it's special to me to know that even a stranger can do such a kind thing to one he does not know. Okay, Let's go! "~ Unisha said to his mind, almost playful as she took to the skies heading for there direction of Midgar, mostly because she was absolutely freezing!

Jake said, which made him smile since that was exactly what Unisha had said to him back in midgar before they were told about Zack and Aerith's wedding plans, it did make him feel better what she said, about others in her people being somewhat like him, although, the distinction would be his right arm, and he wasn't even accepted by his own people because of it "ok, let's go" he said, talking outloud since he didn't know if she'd hear him if he just thunk it to her, he wasn't even sure how to do that! He went into the air, flying just beside her as they headed towards Midgar...
((To Midgar, Away! XD lol))
