It was clear that fall for approaching although the leaves still retained their lush green color - despite the sun in the sky, it was not as unbearable as the start of summer. In fact, it was the perfect weather for a walk! The fluttercorn stretched her thin, fragile wings as she trotted through the forest, deciding to take a different route as opposed to her usual path. As she had been rather inactive during summer largely due to the heat, Fleurite was just itching to move and explore.

However, as she walked away from her herd, she couldn't help but feel that the surroundings were still familiar somehow - like she had been here before sometime in the past. Frowning, she halted, taking in her surroundings... Wait, that's it - although the memory was rather faint, she remembers following her mother through this part of the forest together with her sister when they were foals, having left her father and brother.

Speeding up into a gallop, Fleurite rushed past more familiar looking territory until it started to look foreign; while it had been a while, she does remember making the decision to be with her mother... However, if there was a chance of seeing her brother and father again, she would not miss it!

Immi had spent a while looking for the wayward granddaughter of the troll family. Her mind dwelled on the thought of her own granddaughter missing and she shuddered. Thankfully her family was still safe within the glade under the watchful eye of their father. With a toss of her flowered mane, the singer trotted along the path. It had been a while since she had been gone, since the argument with Dayunsi. Immi winced at the memory as it rose, unbidden to the forefront of her mind. It had started out as something small, Day was fretting over Zandali's departure and blamed himself. She couldn't understand why he'd blame himself for Malis' stubborn nature, the troll would have found out anyways given time. The flutter stallion believed that if he hadn't let it slip, Malis would have never confronted Tai and though Immi tried to reason with him, he was inconsolable. In a fit of frustration she had turned around and said a few things she probably should never have. Deciding to put some distance between them before she caused even more pain, Immi had volunteered to be part of the search party to look for Zandali, Tai going towards the north, Immi going to the south.

But months had gone by, Immi sensed a change in the wings and decided it was time to come home. It was a lost cause and yet there was a small hope in her heart that she would return to find that all was well. She slowly made her way through the valley, taking a different route home yet the passage was still familiar. This was the way her and Malis had gone when they found the river that would end up marking the location of WillowGlen. Slowly her pace quickened as the land became the beginning of her home. There were others grazing in the valley, visitors who were welcome to pass freely to graze on the sweet grass and drink from the river. Starting her way towards the forest, Immi felt her heart beat faster as she anticipated what she would encounter.

Fleurite slowed to a stop, looking around as she tried to look for something familiar, something to help trigger her memories with. Instead, she caught sight of a brightly colored mare who was rather attractive in a seasoned kind of way, very much like her mother. Remembering to be cautious of strangers ever since it landed her in trouble once, she stood still and observed the mare for a few seconds before making up her mind to approach her, hoping for the stranger to know the way to her father's herd.

"Um.... E-Excuse me..." She stopped a short distance away from the stranger, just within earshot as she bowed her head in greeting. Looking up, she tried to maintain eye contact but blushed when their eye met, although it was not visible under her dark pelt, "But do y-you k-know if th-there is a herd in t-this a-area? I'm looking f-for someone..."

To say she was startled was an understatement. Immi halted in her tracks at the voice and turned around, curious about the owner. She saw the younger mare, she looked to be just barely out of foalhood, long green hair reminding her of someone she couldn't quite place a hoof on. "Hello there, how can I help? You wish to find a herd, anything specific?" While she did know WillowGlen was the closest, especially as they were now in her own territory, she wanted to make sure before showing a stranger the heart of the glades. The flowered mare smiled gently as their eyes met, welcoming her to the area without saying a word. There was an unshakable feeling of familiarity but she just marked it up to having met so many different soquili recently. "Who is it that you are looking for?" This way she was hoping to guide this newcomer to where she was trying to get to. For a moment Immi hoped that it was close by before shaking it from her mind. Being a good host was always more important.

She blushed, wondering if she had been too abrupt in her request. However, when she saw that the mare was smiling, she smiled back, feeling somewhat relieved. She nodded, "W-well... I can't r-remember the name o-of the herd, but I d-do remember it being near h-here. I'm looking for m-my father..."

She paused, trying to recall his name; it had been a long time, after all, and her mother and sister hardly talk about her father since there was no need to. She had grown up surrounded by father-figures, so she had never asked either. Of course, part of her did wish to visit her biological father, although when she was younger, she never really found the courage to wander too far away from home. Shifting her hoofs nervously, Fleurite continued, "Um... His name is D-Day-Day..." She paused again, blushing as she frowned and lowered her head; his name was on the tip of her tongue! If only she could recall it...
