Xaki Today was the grand opening to a new aquarium within Destiny City. The new aquarium was reputed to have some of the rarest species, largest animals, and exotic coral reefs and fishes to frequent the world. Their building eclipsed the buildings surrounding it, promising a large setting for all those that came to enjoy it! For the first day - select invitations had been sent out to invite those to the party. The invitations included but were not limited to businessmen, the wealthy daughters and sons as the new generation, the press, and other prominent people whose appearance could help it's publicity.
Senri had been chosen as a visitor due to his popular modeling career, encouraged to develop public relations. After all, it certainly didn't hurt to have the influence of the rich and wealthy on his side. He was dressed in a dark tailored suit, his tie and collar immaculate. His dark blue hair was tied in a simple ponytail, ending at his waist. He wore no accessories, save for a simple silver necklace at the base of his throat. The only imperfection was only his top buttons were buttoned, leaving his bottom half open. He stood within a corner of the room, with his manager at his side.
"At least make an effort to mingle." She said exasperatedly to the bored man, who stood sipping his drink. "Really?" Senri slid a sardonic glance towards her. He smiled at a nearby girl, causing her to blush at his attention. "...I didn't meant flirt with every girl here."
"But guys aren't my type." lizbot A small figure, dressed in a very simple black dress, stalked toward the bar area with an air of quiet outrage. Emily Moffat was extremely displeased. A hair had been found in Miss Mindy's glass. A hair! This was completely unacceptable. Not to mention disgusting. Fortunately, they had seen it before she had taken a sip from the vile drink, but really! Who did they think they were dealing with here? The maid was so grimly focused on the situation at hand, that she failed to get out of the way as portly gentleman bumped right into her. Emily went down, and the offending drink went flying in a rather graceful arc. Xaki Despite his manager's protests, Senri still spend a good deal of time with the women of the party. He was in the middle of offering a drink to a girl nearby, handing the glass of juice to the embarrassed female.
He always made sure to keep a careful eye on his surroundings, as was his instinctual nature. So it was no surprise when his notice was caught by the angry girl who seemed to move quickly amongst the crowd towards where he was standing. She did stand out after all; but wasn't it a bit too early to be upset? He noted her with little concern. After all, he was merely another guest.
However, when the crowd cleared up to allow Senri to survey the scene fully, he found himself unable to not interfere. Before the little miss could respond, Senri has already slid across the ground, bent at the knees. The cup had dropped to the floor, now staining the ground. He held the young lady in his arms, which was possible the only way to move aside quickly to avoid the falling liquid. Unless he had wanted to shove her out the way. Which wasn't his intention, for the moment. It wasn't as if he was in a particular mood. "Perhaps it wouldn't hurt you to exert more caution." He said, inclining his head towards the spilled drink.
"Although, I do believe that you need a new drink." The natural smile upon his face resembled a confident smirk.

Montecristo wound his way leisurely between wayward legs, careful to avoid even his scarf getting stepped on. He'd gotten distracted by a particularly tasty looking fish for a second, and Emily had managed to storm out of his range of sight. Barely containing a snicker, he tried to remember where the bar was, exactly, wondering when it would occur to Emily that the hair had not necessarily been human. Remembering her expression, he mentally chalked himself up a point--payback for one of the many baths he'd endured since he'd taken Emily and Mindy under his wing (...sort've.) Swatting at a pair of bare calves that didn't move quickly enough to suit him, 'cristo's eyes widened as he took in the dramatic scene in the middle of the room--To an observer, it looked as though Emily might have been swept off her feet...literally. Shifting his weight to his opposite paw, 'cristo went to move forward to see just what had happened, when some unthinking clod stepped squarely on his tail. Yowling, Emily momentarily forgotten, the cat swiped at the offending foot, hissing. Damn, but that hurt.

Caught completely off guard for the second time in moments, Emily was briefly left stunned and completely lacking in a proper response. This event was turning out very badly, almost...suspiciously so. First Miss Mindy's drink was tainted in a manner most foul, then she finds herself knocked into, and now...now she's being held in the clutches of some strange man. And the hold he was using...was this leading to the dreaded Back Breaker?!
Suddenly worried that her back was about to be slammed down on his knee, Emily quickly wrapped her arms around the stranger's neck and clutched hard. Ha! Trying to break the back of a member of the Don Diablos Fanclub! As if! "I'm as cautious as I have to be," she murmured, "though I have to applaud your ambition in using such a move."
A drink hm? Was it a peace-offering of sorts? Well, she wasn't about to let her guard down, but this wasn't the place for a match, and Miss Mindy was waiting on her. Her serious business expression especially serious, Emily replied, "I accept. A drink was my intended goal, anyway."
A yowl could be heard in the back ground, it sounded like Mr Monty...did he need to get a drink too? He could have just told her what he needed, now Miss Mindy was left unattended! Alarmed at this though, she didn't notice the growing murmurs from the crowd beside the great glass aquarium windows.
"Hey, isn't that one a little..."
"Ugly? Yeah, maybe it's a new species!"
"Look, it's patting the window, like it's saying 'Hi!'"
"...I dunno, it's kinda creepy..."

"It's not everyday that I save a pretty, young girl such as yourself." Senri smiled at the occupant in his arms. "I'm all for it, in the right place and time." Apparently he had mistaken Emily's words for something else. An Invitation, perhaps? When the girl gracefully accepted the offer of the drink, Senri kneeled down so that she could comfortably reach the ground. Ah, how disappointing. Although Senri had to admit that he wasn't that disappointed, taking everything like a joke. "If you would let me go..?" He inclined his head toward her tight grip.
When she let go, Senri straightened. "One moment." He promised, before heading off to the bar. "Two drinks." The bartender nodded to him, while Senri leaned on the counter while waiting for their drinks. An unsettled feeling sunk into the very core of his being. He kept a calm face while surveying the large room. One eye kept his attention focused on the young lady, and the other on the occupants of the room.
Was it possible that he was placing too much importance on this feeling? Or was it just because of the number of people in the room? The more people, the more idiots remained. That could certainly be possible, his gloved hands coming up to his chin in a contemplative gesture while ignoring the girl to his left trying to cozy up to him.
"Drinks are up!" The bartender slid the two drinks over to him, Senri carrying both drinks. He held up the side of the cold drink to the young girl's cheek. "Like I promised... Miss?"
Meanwhile..
"Are you sure that this glass won't crack?
"That's impossible!" A heavy weight man blustered. He rapped his knuckles against the thick barrier. The watery occupant continued, not to tap the glass anymore, but rammed against it with a large tentacle.
It was nearly imperceptible. It was just a tiny crack. And then it spreaded quickly across the large panel of glass.
"What?" The question was drawn from several occupants nearest to the aquarium, while the rest of the room was blissfully aware of the immediate moment. Nobody could vouch for the next moment.

Satisfied that he was indeed offering a temporary truce, not to mention a bit relieve to be out of that dangerous hold, Emily remained polite and relatively obedient as he ordered drinks. Well, she did give the bartender a hard look. And perhaps, once the young gentleman had his back turned, she caught the bartender's eye and the pointed to her hair, the bartender, the drink glasses, and then slid a finger across her neck dramatically.
Apparently the bartender was used to all sorts, so he just gave her a firm, serious nod, before turning around and rolling his eyes. Emily was now doubly satisfied. Except for the strange girl on the left. But she was really more strange than irritating. Why was she edging closer like that? And blushing? Also it looked like she was inhaling more deeply the closer she got to the gentleman. How peculiar.
About to lean in and sniff for herself, Emily was instead startled by a cold glass to her cheek. Oh, Miss Mindy's drink! She gently took it from his hand, wondering if perhaps his depth perception was quite bad to miss her hand and hit her face like that. For a moment she almost pitied him, but then she recalled how he had maneuvered her only a short while ago.
Flushing, she replied with a don't-you-think-I've-forgotten glint in her eye, "Thank you sir. My name is Emily Moffat. I doubt this will be the last time we meet." At least not if he really meant that 'I'm all for it, in the right place and time.'
She may have gone on to ask him, but sadly a loud CRACK! proved terribly disruptive. As did the screaming. And the sudden panicked crowd of people rushing out of the room. The large tentacle that had smashed through the glass was also a bit distracting. But the real destroyer of any and all further conversation was when the rest of the window went and a giant torrent of water burst into the room.
Completely submerged for the moment, Emily wondered if she should try and transform. She was feeling just the slightest bit shocked and numbed by all the sudden water and...
Was that a shark?!
She managed a quick, choking, "Hestia Power: Make Up!" without drowning. But it was a near thing. Very near.

"Well, Miss Emily.." Senri spoke, however, circumstances would interrupt what would have been an enlightening conversation.
The instantaneous screams along with the panic immediately led to a conclusion that Senri didn't care for. And one that Senri would avoid if given the choice. But he was never given a choice.
Did he fail to mention how much he was beginning to hate these occurances. If so. he must have not been doing an adequate job then. Now, Senri didn't believe in any higher power. But strangely, he did feel this overwhelming need to stab somebody. If only to take out annoyance at the recent turn of events.
His gloved hand clutched at his own throat, his own throat burned from the lack of air and inflex of water when he managed his own "Zephyr Power: Make-up!"
The brief moments after their transformation allowed them more time to survive, but it certainly didn't mean that Senshi were immune to drowning. In his senshi outfit, he floated nearly to the bottom of the flood, his hands groping at a glass window. Without any further hesitation, lest it be eaten by a shark or taken by a tentacle (while he did not prefer either option) Zephyr's foot broke the window with little remorse. The water immediately began to flood through the small break, pouring water to the outside of the building.
The reprieve allowed Zephyr to reach the surface to take a gasp of air. "..s**t." He sensed three power signatures within the room. Two were youma, Zephyr immediately identifying their weak power source. But the other one revealed a ... senshi?
